Working Title:
Everyday Teenager
Audience:
The primary age is teenagers ages 13-18 as I think the theme will suit this age group. The
secondary age for 18-25 the magazine is modern, so I think any older won’t be able to relate to it
as much and won’t be as enjoyable. My primary gender is Female as my magazine will relate them
as it has more of a girly theme and has an article that they will be interested in. The secondary
gender is Male as although the main gender is female, I think there is aspects in the magazine will
appeal to the male audience. The primary social status is middle class as my magazine will be
enjoyed the most by this social class. The secondary social status is working class as they will be
able to relate to the magazine. I think the Psychographics for project is Socially Conscious Type B
as I think this will fit best with my project.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Photoshop has helped me a lot through these projects, I think it is good to practice on it as it helps
you to improve your skills and learn the different things you can do on it.
Photoshop is a big part of this project for me as I need to use this to edit my photos on and use it
to be able to create my overall theme. Photoshop also helps as I would like to plan out my layout
before I make the official thing so I will use photoshop to help me design my front cover and my
double page spread before I make it on InDesign.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
The concept of the project is to make a front cover and double page spread, I am planning on
making a lifestyle magazine. The research I need to do is look at different lifestyle magazines to
see what style and theme I want for the magazine, I need to look at front covers to see what I want
mine to look like and any details I should add. I will research lifestyle double page spreads and
look at different articles that are covered to get inspiration on what to write for mine. This research
will help a lot as I think it helps to make the magazine look more realistic and add details to make it
effective and enjoyable for the audience.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I will take screenshots of the processes of my work and keep them do add onto my production
reflection, talk through the steps and tools I used
Evaluating is a step where I can talk about all the finishing thoughts and things that worked and
some that didn’t. Doing these things will help me see in future projects the work I need to improve
on and what to include into my PowerPoints.
