• You can find information about a new tv show or movie by using social
media. you could see what most people are doing if you wanted advice on
something. You can find what your looking for through social media. You
can find facts about things that you didn’t know through social media. I
use google to find information on when a new movie or show comes out
or if I need to research something.
7. Uses and Gratifications Personal
Identity
• You can reinforce your personal values from social media. Social media can
persuade your opinions on something to be good or bad. You can develop
behavioural traits. You can lash out at someone or something from social
media. You could get into debates on certain things that could be fiction or
non-fiction. I use Instagram and TikTok as I can see what other people are
posting or what they are doing during the day. I enjoy watching the videos
they make and see what my friends are doing through out their day.
8. Uses and Gratifications Integration and
Social Interaction
• You can chat with friends or meet people through social media. You can
find a group or something that you enjoy or feel like you belonged in. you
can come up with different topics to talk about from social media, like so
drama that happened between to celebrities or if a new show came out or
movie. You can be consumed by social media and forget about the real-
world. You might bond more with the people on social media than in real-
life. I use Instagram and snapchat to talk with my friends when I'm not
with them. I also use facetime to call them and have a conversation to
them through the phone and not text them.
9. Uses and Gratifications Entertainment
• People find using social media entertaining as they can see what other
people are doing through Instagram and TikTok. Or they might use Netflix
to watch a show or movie they’ve been wanting to watch. People find it
relaxing when they can play on games they enjoy like animal crossing or
Minecraft. You can find enjoyment from social media by yourself while
scrolling through your TikTok or play a game with your family and friends. I
use TikTok, Netflix and kindle. I enjoy watching the videos people make on
TikTok or watching a movie or show on Netflix. I use kindle to read the
books I've bought online.

TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and games.

they don’t need to hire anyone to work for them. They get a lot of interesting
content .
• Why would the audience generate content?
For your own enjoyment. You can also explore your creativity and get
inspiration from watching other people’s content.
11. Psychographics
• Belongers
These people want to fit in places and not wanting to stand out or to feel
isolated from everyone else.
• Achievers
Theses people like to be producted and don’t like to waste time. They tend to
materialistic and like to purchase items to show the success in their life.
• Emulators
These people want achieve things but don’t have the mindset to do it. They
like to buy big and knock-offs that they cant afford to appear more successful
then they are.
12. Psychographics
• Balanced
These people like to make a much money as they can but spend it on
themselves and spend it on others. Only 1-2% of people fit in this category.
• Needs Driven
These people struggle with money from the choices they make. They were
brought in a poverty stricken environment and tend to buy things without
control because they feel like they need it.
• Socially Conscious
- A: these people like to help people and expect nothing in return. They aim
to achieve greatness.
- B: these people tend to have a strong opinion on topics and see doom and
destruction in the world.
