Cardio Metabolic Specialist
 Took the position of Cardio Metabolic Specialist at Vivus with the primary responsibility of promoting
sales of the anti-obesity medication Qsymia. Original territory included the Antelope Valley, Bakersfield,
San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, Tulare, and Kings Counties.
 Effectively leveraged my experience in Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease to effectively demonstrate the
need to address the key underlying cause,obesity,causing a 30% increase in writers of Qsymia while
effectively doubling prescription demand.
Novo Nordisk Inc, Visalia, CA 2011 to 2013
Senior Diabetes Care Specialist
 Was promoted to the position of Senior Diabetes Care Specialist for the Visalia Territory due to a
combination of continued sales success and leadership in training. Was a key member of the Managed
Markets Liaison (MML) Team, helping to provide training, resources,and guidance to newer reps.
 During the first 2 POA's of 2012, led the team to two Triple Crown Awards for achieving over 100% sales
goal attainment for all three products (Levemir, NovoLog, Victoza).
 Ranked in the top 5% of the company for total portfolio sales in the first 7 months of 2013.
Novo Nordisk Inc, Bakersfield, CA 2009 to 2011
Diabetes Care Specialist
 Took the Layered DCS position in Jan 2009 as an experimental promotional role, where the key
responsibility was providing sales and educational support for Novolog, the Bolus insulin manufactured
and marketed by Novo Nordisk. Also provided sales support got Levemir, Novo Nordisk's Basal insulin in
a secondary position.
 Grew regional and national rankings during that time from the bottomhalf of the region to hit a top 20%
level of sales attainment nationally despite a challenging formulary market.
 In 2010 was a key member of the team that launched Victoza. Finished in the top 5 territories in the
California Region that year. The Visalia Territory is currently the number 1 territory in both market share
and volume for Northern California with the overlapping Bakersfield Territory coming in at number 2.

 Was hired as a Diabetes Care Specialist 2 with the primary responsible of increasing the market share of
Novo Nordisk's recently launched Basal insulin, Levemir.
 In the first year, lead the company with the Visalia territory becoming one of the first in California to reach
10%, accomplishing this goal without the benefit of having a counterpart and also increased TRx's from
less than 20 to more than 100 per week.
