2. Growing up, Britney Black always felt a strong
connection towards live music. She began
playing instruments in middle school, and after
moving from the suburbs to Philadelphia, she
began working in multiple music venues
throughout the region. After 6+ years of
managing front of house operations, Britney
realized she wanted more. She wanted to take
her passion for live music, and become more

music and events industry, it’s that things often don’t go as
planned. Over the years, I’ve learned to embrace the problem
solver in me. I have the ability to keep calm and handle
any situation that gets thrown my way. During the

rst sold out show I managed on my own,
our internet based point of sale system went down, which caused all sales to come to a
halt. With some quick troubleshooting I was able to come up with an alternative solution,
and still managed to end the show with a net pro

t that exceeded our estimated goal.
