Week 3
January 26th, 2020
Sam Strickland grew up an only child in the rural south
of Alabama. He developed a strong interest in music
and specifically playing the drums around the age of 9
years old when he received his first drum set as a
Christmas gift. Moving to the city of Birmingham after
graduating to pursue greater musical opportunities. He
is a very determined and loyal person who values
honesty and integrity. He has been working as a local
musician and event promoter, organizing shows and
performing at various venues across the city. He has
traveled with many different bands to perform all across
the states at festivals and other venues, developing a
strong network of beneficial relationships, connections
and clientele.
