Working Title:
Videogame run ( if it is just for the video if not “speed of light” is the name)
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Audience:
The age of my primary audience will be 16-24 year olds as they are most likely to listen to this kind
of music. The primary audience for gender will be male as these are the sort of people I imagine
would mainly listen to this kind of music. The social status of my primary audience will be upper
middle class as they are the ones who are most likely to pay to see this band as they don’t want to
waste their money but they will know that they are good after seeing a music video or listening to
some of the music from the band. The psychographic of my main audience will be socially
conscious type B as they are as they are the sort of people who spend a lot of time playing games
and avoiding socializing as if it were deadly to them. The age of my secondary audience will be 25-
33 year olds but it could go up even further because the band is old it was formed in the 1970’s but
made its first big stage appearance in the 1980’s so anyone can really be into it. My secondary
audience for gender will be female because almost everyone likes fast music. My secondary
audience would be lower middle class as that is what I am and I love this kind of music. Finally my
secondary psychographic for the audience will be balanced as they are most likely just going to
love it because of others liking it you know kind of like sheep.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
How to draw a little bit better than last year and from this project already I have learned about how
to use a green screen and how to draw and maybe even animate a vortex. I have also learned that
I base all my projects around video games to at some point get into that side of media. Also there
is the point at how from my point of view it looks like my drawings are only getting better as the
year goes on however though I do still need to learn how to apply form and shading to a piece of
drawing.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
The main character is playing video games when all of a sudden the monitor or tv starts to spark
and then the glass from the tv or monitor breaks a vortex forms where there used to be an image
on the screen the main character is pixelated and then dragged into the tv or monitor and then
they go on and adventure like there is no time to explain and you dash through other games whilst
completing objectives and to get to another game you have to go through the vortex which will
have some space elements and then there will also be some games in that are based around
space such as kerbal space programme, dead space and alien. After finding a bunch of other
monitors which aren’t the right ones as they don’t have the glass broken but eventually the main
character finds the correct tv or monitor that they entered in and then the main character escapes
quickly followed by a horde heroic characters from games and then after them a host of enemies
arrives through the same way a fight ensues which the heroes win, the heroes go back into the tv
or monitor and the main character is left to clean up after the fight and then in has the words the
end at the end of the video.
Production Techniques (approx. 150 words)
Green screen will play a massive part in what I want to create because I am planning on
creating game landscapes characters from the games and then there is going to be a vortex
sort of thing to transport the main character from game to game and monitor to monitor
also I want to have a monitor breaking and I probably won’t be able to film that and so I am
planning on animating and drawing that as well. Then I will also need post production just
to add some finishing touches like some shading but that’s all really for that and then as for
the sound effects I might have them if there is a good point in the song where nothing is
happening but if not I will not be using sound effects.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I plan on evaluating my work by looking at my weakest areas poke some fun at it and then try to
learn from my mistakes for the next project my main mistake so far is not starting the production
until I was two weeks into the project which still somehow left me squeezed for time.
