2. Process
I didn't have enough time to make
a lot of new designs and I quite
like the fact that everything is
related. I made them unique
enough to not over do the
drawings.
I duplicated my logo
design and realised it
looked like someone
crying so I drew on
from there and ended
up with this design
I used the background of
the album cover on the
front and then the white
album cover font on the
back. This is a looser fit
hoodie.
I took notes from
one of the
experiments I did
and just added some
swirls to this one, a
nice simplistic poster
I used the black logo band
name font on the front and
the crying doodle on the
back, oppisite to the other
hoodie which is image on
front text on back. This is a
tighter fit hoodie.
I use the poster design on the black looser top
and the alternate logo design on the tighter
white top, I chose different fitting items so
people could choose and maybe mix, and
match would be a n option on the website too
I made a logo tote bag with my two favourites,
two different shaped waterbottles, one with
the background of the album cover and one
with the band's logo, and a pop socket with the
band's logo on it also. These are things I use in
my everyday life so I thought these would be
the best merch deisgn ideas.
I really enjoyed this process of
making things I personally would
wear and some of my peers would
too I'm very passionate about
graphic design and clothes design,
so this was a very fun part of the
project for me
