Magnetic levitation or maglev technology is a technique which is used to lift the objects with the help of magnetic fields. Pressure of magnetic field is used to suppress the effect of gravitational and other forces. As wind is a form of renewable source of energy, it can be used to generate electricity by converting kinetic energy into electric energy with the help of wind turbine. The advantage of maglev windmill over a convectional one is,
mechanical friction is reduce significantly as the rotor is floating in air due to levitation.
This project of Maglev windmill on the implementation of an alternate configuration of a wind turbine for power generation purposes. Using the effects of magnetic repulsion, spiral shaped wind turbine blades will be fitted on a rod for stability during rotation and suspended on magnets as a replacement for ball bearings which are normally used on conventional wind turbines. Power will then be generated with an axial flux generator, which incorporates the use of permanent magnets and a set of coils.

Impact of wind power on power system operationLeonardo ENERGY
This presentation is based on a thesis which investigated on various levels the technical impact of wind power on the operation of the electrical power system.
First, the state of the art of actual wind turbines is briefly reviewed.
Then, the importance of specific ‘grid connection requirements’ is explained. These requirements are generally a set of technical demands that wind turbines have to comply with in order not to cause instability of the electrical power grid. This issue has gained importance since the fast increase of installed wind power in some European countries, e.g. Denmark, Germany and Spain. Whether a wind turbine complies with these technical requirements or not can be examined using detailed dynamic models of wind turbines. This is pointed out in this dissertation.
In a next part, all wind power production units in one control zone (i.e. a zone where one power system operator controls the transmission system) are hypothetically considered together as one power plant. The value of this aggregated wind power production is discussed, using three different value indicators: 1) the capacity factor, 2) the capacity credit, and 3) the abatement of carbon dioxide emissions by the other power plants in the regarded control zone. This final value indicator highly depends on the grid considered. The value of wind power is worked out for the specific case of the Belgium, for various scenarios of wind power that can be installed in the future.
Analysis and Implementation of Maximum Power Point Tracking Using Conventiona...ijtsrd
As we know, energy generated from the solar and wind systems is not necessarily continuous and consistent. In India, the weather also varies such that in gloomy conditions there will be limited power from the PV battery, while in summer it will be at its highest. So, the weather decreases the systems effectiveness. As a result, an energy efficient approach is required to find an optimum point of action to obtain the full amount of energy under various atmospheric conditions. This paper suggested an updated turbulence and maximal power point monitoring controller for wind and solar hybrid energy systems. The controller uses the modified fixed disruption and observation system to achieve the MPP by changing the service cycle of each input module. Results are presented on a 200W wind system as well as a 400W solar wind energy system with differing irradiation strength and wind speed to illustrate the merits of the experiment. Modeling and Simulation of Self Excited Induction Machine for Wind Power Gene...IDES Editor
Objective of this paper is to propose modeling and
simulation of self-excited induction machine for wind power
generation (SEIMWPG). The earlier models of such
generators capable of generating electric power are facing
huge mechanical losses due to wear and tear in the tightly
coupled mechanical gear systems. Due to this heavy
arrangement in each and every constituent mechanical
assembly, the earlier design could not provide maximum
efficiency. In this paper the proposed model focuses on the
performance of the system using the concept of variation of
mutual inductance in the generator windings. This new model
can be possible to generate maximum power with the variation
of mutual inductance of stator and rotor windings irrespective
of the variation of wind velocities. The complete system is
modeled and simulated in the MAT LAB/ SIMULINK
environment. The results of this renewable model and design
are to promote green energy systems in the future.

Wind turbines form complex nonlinear mechanical systems exposed to uncontrolled wind
profiles. This makes turbine controller design a challenging task. As such, control of wind energy
conversion systems (WECS) is difficult due to the lack of systematic methods to identify requisite
robust and sufficiently stable conditions, to guarantee performance. The problem becomes more
complex when plant parameters become uncertain. This paper considers the wind energy curtailment
for which it provides a combinatorial planning model to maximize wind power utilization. The major
objective of this study is to develop an effective method for optimizing size of wind. A novel multiobjective
adaptation of the fuzzy based Harmony Search algorithm is proposed and tested for
efficiently solving the problem of optimally deploying wind turbines in wind farms. In this paper,
Harmony Search Algorithm (HSA) using fuzzy controller to achieve better optimization results and to
increase performance. A general formulation of this algorithm is presented together with an analytical
and mathematical modeling to solve the stability and performance of the system.
These slides presents an overview of different wind generator systems and their comparisons. Later of the slides the modelling and control strategies of wind generators will be discussed.
POWER PLANT- PORTABLE MICRO POWER GENERATIONvivatechijri
This project gives on idea of "POWER PLANT- PORTABLE MICRO POWER GENERATION". In this project we considered wind as a renewable source of energy to generate electricity with the help of aeroleaves are leaf like structure of wind turbine. Which are placed in the form of tree called Wind tree. These aeroleaves are small vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) and able to generate power. They are also silent, so they could be installed along buildings, street or even in people’s backyards. The rotation of aeroleaves depends on wind speed and wind direction. VAWT will catch wind from all directions. When wind blows, aeroleaves rotate and energy get produced .In this project , the power generated from wind tree is eco-friendly, less noise polluted and can provide electricity to remote locations.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.

Automobile Management System Project Report.pdfKamal Acharya
The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
