Delay Fault Testing
Propagation delay of all paths in a circuit must be less than clock period for correct operation
Functional tests applied at operational speed of circuit are often used for delay faults
Scan based stuck-at tests are often applied at speed
However, functional and stuck-at testing even if done at-speed do not specifically target delay faults

A VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) system integrates millions of “electronic components” in a small area (few mm2 few cm2).
design “efficient” VLSI systems that has:
Circuit Speed ( high )
Power consumption ( low )
Design Area ( low )
Functional verification is one of the key bottlenecks in the rapid design of integrated circuits. It is estimated that verification in its entirety accounts for up to 60% of design resources, including duration, computer resources and total personnel. The three primary tools used in logic and functional verification of commercial integrated circuits are simulation (at various levels), emulation at the chip level, and formal verification.
Equivalence checking is a portion of a larger discipline called formal verification. This technology uses mathematical modeling techniques to prove that two representations of design exhibit the same behavior. This approach should not be confused with functional verification, which uses exhaustive simulation to verify the correctness of a design.
Once a verified version of a design has been identified, equivalence checking can be used to determine if an alternate representation of the design behaves the same as the verified version. This technique does not use input vectors so it is more efficient.
Equivalence checking is useful to verify that a design’s function has not changed after an operation like synthesis, or after a functional ECO has been applied.

Nature vs. Nurture: Building Great Test TeamsJosiah Renaudin
When organizations expand internal test teams, hiring managers sort through piles of résumés hoping for a few gems. But scanning for coveted technical skills and relevant experience often leads to disappointment. With the proliferation of new software and the explosion of mobile devices, the QA industry is surging, and experienced testers are becoming harder to find. What inherent qualities do great testers really possess? Do those attributes show up on résumés? Should technical expertise or tool/application knowledge drive the hiring decision for new testers or are there more important capabilities and talents that managers should consider? Résumés often fail to describe other important factors, including the “tester’s mindset.” By zeroing in only on technical experience, we risk minimizing or ignoring the vital characteristics—curiosity, skepticism, and cooperativeness—of great testers. Join Shaun Bradshaw as he shares a proven, multi-step process used to evaluate candidates for the “tester’s mindset” and discusses the necessary technical aptitude that will create top performing testers. Learn the importance of developing and providing ongoing training and mentoring to ensure the process of building great test teams doesn’t end with the hire.

Hybrid optimization of pumped hydro system and solar- Engr. Abdul-Azeez.pdffxintegritypublishin
Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

The scope of information technology has become wider includes: Business and industry. Household Business, Communication, Education, Entertainment, Science, Medicine, Engineering, Distance Learning, Weather Forecasting. Carrier Searching and so on.
My project named “Event Management System” is software that store and maintained all events coordinated in college. It also helpful to print related reports. My project will help to record the events coordinated by faculties with their Name, Event subject, date & details in an efficient & effective ways.
In my system we have to make a system by which a user can record all events coordinated by a particular faculty. In our proposed system some more featured are added which differs it from the existing system such as security.

Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.

11. • Automation
• The obvious way to reduce human
introduced error
• It is not always possible specially when the
processes are not well defined and requires a
human ingenuity and creativity.
• Poka-Yoke
• A Japanese term that means "mistake-
proofing" or “inadvertent error prevention”
• Towards the fool automation but not
complete automation
• Human intervention is needed only to decide
on the particular sequence or steps required
to obtain the desired results.
• Verification now a days remains an art.

13. Reconvergence Model
It consists the following steps:
1. Creating the design at a higher level of abstraction
2. Verifying the design at that level of abstraction
3. Translating the design to a lower level of abstraction
4. Verifying the consistency between steps 1 and 3
5. Steps 2, 3, and 4 are repeated until tapeout
The transformation can be any process like
:
• RTL coding from specification
• Insertion of a scan chain
• Synthesizing a RTL code into gate level netlist
• Synthesizing a gate level netlist in to lay out …..
