An acoustic case study that covers a research of the project of "The Solaris and Leisure Centre, Estonia ", documenting through writings, sketches, acoustical information and photos. This would help to understand the various aspects of designing and constructing an auditorium keeping the acoustics in mind.
The property of surface by which sound energy (kinetic energy) is converted into other form of energy, generally heat energy (due to friction) and get absorbed.
There is no royal road for making a particular room acoustically good. It mainly depends on the ideas of the engineer or the Architect. Each case is to be studied separately and after proper thinking and calculations, suitable materials may be specified.
The behavior of sound in enclosed spaces is an important matter particularly in homes. It explains how the sound we listen gets colored causing distortion.

Here, I am using CUDA Programming Language to calculate simulation of a sound wave in a empty room and compared it with the speed of simulation calculated using C++ Programming Language.
This presentation is all about timber products specifically fiberboards , particle board and compressed straw board.
in this ppt all the information haas been provided like from there manufacturing processes to there uses to there rates and size to the manufacturing companies . It is very helpful for architectural students. more importance is given on constructional details . Hope u like it :)

Andreas Schleicher presents at the OECD webinar ‘Digital devices in schools: detrimental distraction or secret to success?’ on 27 May 2024. The presentation was based on findings from PISA 2022 results and the webinar helped launch the PISA in Focus ‘Managing screen time: How to protect and equip students against distraction’ https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/education/managing-screen-time_7c225af4-en and the OECD Education Policy Perspective ‘Students, digital devices and success’ can be found here - https://oe.cd/il/5yV

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Instructions for Submissions thorugh G- Classroom.pptxJheel Barad
This presentation provides a briefing on how to upload submissions and documents in Google Classroom. It was prepared as part of an orientation for new Sainik School in-service teacher trainees. As a training officer, my goal is to ensure that you are comfortable and proficient with this essential tool for managing assignments and fostering student engagement.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

How to Make a Field invisible in Odoo 17Celine George
It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
2. ACOUSTICS PLASTERBOARD
Acoustic Plasterboard is an acoustic alternative to
standard plasterboard.
The density of the boards is higher than that of standard
plasterboard. 12.5mm acoustic plasterboard can be used to
reduce noise transmission through walls and ceilings.
It is advised that this board should be used in combination
with other products to achieve the maximum levels of
soundproofing.
GYPSUM PLASTER BOARD
3. This plasterboard will not reduce noise on its own.
We use this type of board for some of the wall and ceiling products we
produce to improve its soundproofing performance.
This product works well when combined with, DFM acoustic
insulation, that is Dense Fibre Matting, Soundbreaker Bars and
Barrier Shield.
Soundbreaker Bars Barrier Shield
4. ACOUSTICS PULP (PLASTER)
Acoustic plaster is plaster which contains fibres or aggregate so that it
absorbs sound.
Such plaster is applied in thicknesses of up to 1.5 inches. As compared
with other sound insulation, it is easy to apply and is fireproof but it can
be more fragile, being affected by physical stress and humidity.
Acoustic plaster is used in construction of rooms which require good
acoustic qualities such as auditoria and libraries.
Earlier Acoustics plaster was made by naturally occurring material know
as Asbestos
Acoustic plaster is easily available In market.
It is sold for ₹200/bag which is little expensive
than normal cement.
5. RISK FACTORS
As long as the plaster is in one solid piece, it poses no threat to human
health. However, over time the plaster coating becomes likely to crack or
break apart, and that allows tiny particles of asbestos to be released into
the air. Since they are too small to be seen by the human eye, people
become subjected to inhaling them and that can be extremely
dangerous or even deadly.
7. FIBREGLASS BLANKET
Fiberglass is a type of fibre-reinforced plastic where the reinforcement
fiber is specifically glass fibre.
The glass fibre may be randomly arranged, flattened into a sheet, or
woven into a fabric.
The plastic matrix may be a thermoset polymer matrix – most often
based on thermosetting polymers such as epoxy, polyester resin, or
vinyl ester - or a thermoplastic.
8. USES OF FIBREGLASS BLANKET
Fiberglass Blankets are used to improve speech intelligibility. The quilted
fiberglass material is available in single or double faced configurations.
Use this material to create sound proof enclosures or add sound
absorption around noisy machinery and equipment
Panels are available in widths up to 4' and in standard heights of 4', 6', 8'
and 10'. Custom manufacturing is available.
10. PLASTICS PANELS
Plastic panels are used in offices, meeting rooms, class rooms,
auditoriums, glass atria, lobbies, restaurants, recording and mastering
studios, radio studios, kitchens and swimming pool areas, to name a
few.
FEATURES
The absorbers can be transparent, printed on or delivered in a variety of
colours
Long product lifetime
Unique patented technology
Completely free of fibres and do not emit health impairing particles
High acoustic performance
Sound absorption properties can easily be adjusted
No restrictions concerning moisture and the product is easily cleanable
