abolished for several reasons, recognizing the practice as an extreme violation of
human rightsand American republicanism. Despite his advocacy for abolishment,

arguments that slavery is not only immoral but a poor reflection of the nation. I
continue to discuss the advantages of his position, and note that he does argue

My childhood was a happy one, for a moment at least. The first seven years of my

ignorance. Euthyphro argues that he is the self proclaimed expert on the subject of
piety and impiety. I could argue in the position that, Euthyphro is claiming expertise
in a subject that he doesn t know enough about. This socratic ignorance is the idea of
the dialogue. I have decided to take an extra argument in this paper. I argue there is
ignorance in both Socrates and Euthyphro. Although it s more difficult to prove, I
explain the situations of piety and impiety and how it is relative to each person and

but uses them in a way to show that a dog is a man s bestfriend. The dog Argus
represents how dogs always remember the ones who cared for them no matter what
happens. In the painting and the poem, they are showing many ways on how dogs
are so loyal to their owners. Dogs will care for you till the day you die and no
