Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner A baby was just born at 26 weeks gestation. Just over half the normal 40
weeks a baby should stay inside the mother. The baby is immediately whisked away and taken to be
evaluated and prepared for a long journey ahead. Ever since I could remember babies and the nursery
at the hospital have fascinated me. Whenever we would go visit a friend who had a baby, I would find
myself peaking over the windows into the nursery. I have known for a while that working in the
neonatal intensive care unit is what I want to pursue. Recently I have been looking into nurse
practitioners and furthering my education beyond my BSN. Being able to care for these infants in the
most critical stages of their life, and being able to provide them the support they need to survive
outside the womb seems so satisfying . Neonatal nurse practitioners have years of education, deep
history, detailed job description, high demands and some legal issues. Basic Information Education
Requirements A n eonatal nurse practitioner is a nurse practitioner that specializes in caring for
neonates. Nurse practitioners are in the broad category of advanced practice registered nurses, or
APRN s. In order to become a neonatal nurse practitioner, one must first be a licensed registered nurse

starting the program to become a nurse practitioner (United States, 2014). To become a neonatal

What Is The Context Of Looking For Richard Resonate Over Time
Texts are shaped by their compositional context and thus offer new insights about the composer s era.
However, as there are ongoing concerns of humanity, key ideologies resonate over time and are
affirmed between texts as shown in William Shakespeare s play King Richard III (1591) and Al Pacino
s docudrama Looking For Richard (1996). King Richard III examines the irrational behaviours and
moral ramifications of a power lust Richard to explore ideas of the relentless pursuit of power,
betrayal and deceit, reflective of the theocentric context of the Elizabethan society. Centuries later,
Looking For Richard explores Pacino s journey to reshape a Shakespearean text that is representative
of the changing contextual norms and values of a contemporary American audience who are confused
and sceptical about the relevance of Shakespeare s plays. Both texts provide an image of Richard s
deceit reflective of their distinctive contexts. However, despite the disparity of time, both texts display
how key ideas such as deceit, endure and resonate over time.
Distinctive contexts have the capacity to offer new insights and understandings that can challenge and
drastically alter the portrayal of societal norms and values. Shakespeare critics the nature of the
relentless pursuit for power and authority and its effects, through the lens of Richard s ambitious but
deceitful actions, reflective in his opening soliloquy I am determined to prove a villain and now is the

Sign Language In The Deaf Community
What is Sign Language? Sign language is beneficial for both deaf recipients and families of those who
have a family member who is deaf. Sign language can be a useful tool to have in your back pocket
because communities now have increased in number with the amount of people who have lack of
hearing. Sign language can be combined in a daily conversation by using hands and spoken words to
help clarify what is being said. Sign language goes way back in time when it first got discovered in the
1800 by an educator, which led to grand openings of schools specifically for deaf students. Sign
language is a type of communication that is used with hand, body and facial expressions. Spoken
language can be used with words because we can hear our surroundings and what is being told to us to
become educated. On the other hand, the deaf community cannot hear their surroundings or the
spoken language. Therefore, the deaf community has an alphabet that is made of many signs used by
their hands. Some words can be used to demonstrate one to two words at a time to communicate their
wants and needs of the recipient. Sign language is not universal therefore you couldn t go to another

which was established by Reverend Newtown P. Walker in late 1840 s. The school is in the upper state

and later the blind students who lived locally. Furthermore, Spartanburg Deaf and Blind school does

The Causes And Factors For The Trafficking Essay
ROOT CAUSES OF TRAFFICKING Causes and the factors for the trafficking are diverse among
nation to another nation. It includes various social, economic and cultural factors. There are some
common factors like the gender wise more girls are trafficked for forced sexual exploitation which is
seen in many nations. Poverty, armed conflicts, political unrest, lacking enforcement of human rights
and natural disasters etc will increase the trafficking of human. War and internal conflict in nation is
one of the important context which leads to large number of neglected children, orphan children, street
children etc which will increase the chance of many children getting trafficked. Poverty has a close
relation with vulnerability and marginalization of human and is one of the causes for trafficking
among the children. The situation in which parents sell children with positive motive and negative
motive is very common. Parents think of at least saving the child from the poverty they face so that
they sell the children thinking it provides the children more opportunity for development. Gender
based stereotypes among the people which consider females with low value are one among the causes
for trafficking of girls. Girl children are been trafficked for forced prostitution, child marriage etc.
Female infanticide is an indirect cause for trafficking of girls. Most of the places lack females for
marriage and

Mechanical Valve Replacement Research Paper
Mechanical heart valves are valves made of man made materials and therefore can be very are
durable. Patients who have mechanical valve replacements are placed on anticoagulants for the rest of
their lives because of the tendency for blood to clot on mechanical valves. Biological (tissue) valves
are taken from pig, cow, or human donors and therefore patients with these valve replacements do not
need to take anticoagulants for the rest of their lives. Biological valves, on the other hand, don t last as
long as mechanical valves (usc.edu). In considering between tissue or mechanical valve replacement,
published data has indicated that strong consideration should be given to patients over 60 years of age
to choose tissue over a mechanical valve

Community Policing Within The United States Department Of...
Over time the policing community has faced many different changes to be able to keep up with the
new times. The system has adapted many new techniques and a different approach to how they solve
problems. Community policing has taken on a number of definition, but put simply it is a working
partnership with a community that helps make the area a better environment to subside in. The main
goals of community policing is to reduce neighborhood crime, help reduce fear of crime and enhance
the quality of life in the community. The United States Department of Justice has defined community
policing as a philosophy that focuses on crime and social disorder through the delivery of police
services that includes aspects of traditional law enforcement, as well as prevention, problem solving,
community engagement, and partnerships. However, community policing can be looked at as not so
much a strategy, but a philosophy about how things should be done. According to The Unites States
Department of Justice At its core, community oriented policing is based on law enforcement and the
community joining together to identify and address issues of crime and social disorder. With new
advances and community oriented policing, law enforcement is taking steps in the right direction.
Over the course of the semester there have been many instances in which shows that new technology
advances have proven to be nothing but beneficial for law enforcement. In an article written by Ron

Summary Of Sir Gawain And The Green Knight
Many games are involved in the plot of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The Green Knight, plays a
Christmas game with the knights of the round table. Gawain s host s wife plays games with Gawain
throughout the the third fitt; all while Gawain sees his agreement of mutual trade with his host as a
game as well. In the end all of the events of the story are revealed as a game created by Arthur s sister
Morgan Le Fay, for the sole purpose of testing the honor King Arthur s knights possessed. The
Christmas game that the Green Knight comes to play with Arthur s royal court at the request of
Morgan Le Fay provides the structure for which the plot of the entire story is based upon. At first, it
seems to Arthur s court as if the knight has come to present a contest to the court; he reveals that he
intends for one person from Arthur s court to accept hit challenge and exchange one blow for another.
It seems to the people as if it would be an easy contest for the opponent of the Green Knight to win,
because no one expects him to survive a fatal blow to the head with an axe. However, the knight
shocks everyone when he picks up his severed head and rides away his green horse. After the Green
Knight rides away, it reveals to Gawain the importance of the promise made with the Green Knight.
Gawain s cousin Arthur tries to downplay the importance of this deal several times throughout the
novel, when he says Now, sir, hang up your axe and return to the feast (line 447). Authors

Open Letter For Bruce Rauner
Open Letter to Bruce Rauner
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take the time out to greet and thank you everyone
for coming out today. You could have been anywhere in the world but you decided to be here; and I
am ever so grateful for you all having the courage to do so.
We are gathered here today because we all have an urge to fight, we all have this overwhelming
feeling to stress concerns about our current economic and political state of higher education in Illinois.
We all have our different viewpoints about why these happenings are occurring and who we should
address them to. Some say address them to your local aldermen, some say the Mayor, some say the
state representatives, and still some say it is Barack Obama. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

It has never been a necessity for you in these connotations. Therefore, perhaps there is not a full
understanding in your camp of what is occurring and what is at stake. Isaac Parker reported that
because of the impasse Chicago State University failed to receive $36 million in state funding last
July, about 30 percent of the school s budget. Another $1.6 million in state funded merit scholarships
and $5 million in state grants to low income students also did not materialize (Park). In over 100
years, a governor in Illinois has not withheld a budget as you continue to do. The actions of your
administration displayed since July 1, 2015, in which by law a budget should have been passed, are un
befitting, unbecoming and ill mannered actions for a person who holds the title of Governor of
Illinois. It is unashamedly discourteous to students, like myself at Chicago State University (CSU) and
others, to punish us for mishaps that occurred before or for which we had little to no control over. As
stated by Dahleen Glanton there are too many potential casualties people on the sidelines who have
done nothing to deserve the pain and suffering thrust onto them (Glanton). Equally, CSU s students are

As a logical consequence, Postmes and Brunsting (2002) reasoned that the Internet is changing society
because people s cognitive processes, triggered by access to information and communication, replace
the strong social ties that traditionally underpin committed activism. In simpler words, in the past,
humanity used the herd instinct as the main driving force behind committed forms of activism. Thanks
to the Internet, we climb another step or three on the evolutionary ladder, and simply do away with the
herd instinct and replace it with reason. The argument, if put this way, does not sound particularly
strong. What can be taken away is that social media is still evolving, that social media changes the
way we or most of us communicate, that social media is used in social and political activism, and that
the Internet increases quantitative if not qualitative access to information.

cyber twist to it: based on their statistical analysis of a large body of tweets related to the 2011

to share ideas and information with like minded people, because Twitter allows a high number of
activists interact using its retweet and other mechanisms. In this case, Twitter was used among

Moores Law
The number of transistors per square inch on an integrated chip doubles every 18 months
Observation that over the history of computing hardware, the number of transistors in a integrated
chip has doubled every 2 years.
Consequences of Moore s law
1 Because of Moore law the ratio of price to performance of computers has fallen. For example the
price of the standard computing device has fallen from around $4000 to something close to 1c for the
same processor.
2 Because of Moore s law the cost of data communication and data storage is essentially 0. Because
there is basically no price on this technology there are wasteful and harmful aspects of business
applications being developed then deemed useless and wasted.

The Effects Of Down Syndrome
Children are our future; our future scientists, doctors, teachers, president and so much more. It is hard
not to notice the number of young parents nowadays that have children. the average age range for
mothers giving birth is 20 34. With the current up rise of babies being born to young mothers, I could
not help but think about how age plays a factor into birth effects. Down syndrome is the most common
single cause of human birth defects. The most common form of Down syndrome is known as trisomy
21, a genetic condition where individuals have 47 chromosomes in each cell instead of 46. Trisomy 21

Evolution Of Dogs
The dog, also know as man s best friend or more scientifically, Cannis lupus familiaris, has been just
that for 130,000 years. The dog is a descendant of the gray wolf, who lives in a much different habitat
and leads a much different lifestyle than our domestic dogs. The anatomy and physiology of the dog
can vary greatly among its different breeds but generally speaking the dog anatomy and physiology
follow similar blueprints no matter what. To begin, the dog transitioned from wolf to domestic dog
130,000 years ago. Molecular evidence now shows that the dog is indeed a direct descendent of the
gray wolf, also know as Canis lupus. Dogs are smaller than gray wolves. They have shorter muzzle

There are many physical differences among breeds of dogs. Selected breeding by humans has lead to
artificial evolution (Evolution of Dogs). There are approximately 150 different breeds of dogs. Within
these breeds and due to artificial evolution, certain diseases or disorders can be specific to breeds.
Labradors can develop tumors, Bulldogs can have respiratory problems, Boxers can develop cancer,
and so on. As previously stated, though breeds can widely vary in size and build, their anatomy and
physiology is still that of a dog. Dogs have a fourth head of their triceps brachii. This is known as the
accessory head. They walk on their phalanges, which are also home to their thick paw pads. Dogs
sweat from their paw pads and their noses only. The muzzle of a dog can vary between breeds as well.
An English Bulldog has a much more flattened snout than a Collie. When a dog is panting, its
respiratory system is regulating its body temperature. A dog s digestive system includes the mouth,

Programming Models Of Wsn System
Research Proposal Title Programming Models of WSN System: A State of the Art Survey Introduction
There are a lot scenarios need different sensor nodes to collaborate and integrated on the air into
networks to facilitate applications. The scaled down censoring system presented below is an example
of those wireless sensor networks (WSN). In this system sensors are different between corridors area
and manufacturing area, since they need different precise level. Those sensors combined together by
different wireless AP and provide services to different applications inside and outside the plant. This is
where virtualization shines. Virtualization creates an uniformed environment in heterogeneous sensor
networks. It bridge the gap between infrastructure and applications. And the network and sensor
virtualization can achieved by the middleware. Middleware hide unnecessary details and complexity
of the underlying heterogeneous infrastructures, like different sensor nodes and different wireless AP
in the presented scenario. Software designs and programming approaches for the middleware design
should facilitate the balance between communication and computing. Energy awareness, routing,
efficient resource utilization and data delivery have always been the key parameters for an efficient
programming model for WSN. Motivating Scenario Fig 1. A motivating example on dust free

includes a home language survey that asks two questions: 1. Is a language other than English spoken
in the home; 2. Does the student speak a language other than English? If the answers given are that
yes the student speaks another language and yes a language other than English is spoken in the home;
then, the student is classified as an English Language Learner. The next step is to test the student s
English proficiency level. This is done by testing the student and assessing his/her listening, speaking,

The Fall Of Singapore
The Fall of Singapore to the Japanese happened on the 15th February 1942 and is thought to be one of
the greatest defeats in the entire history of the British Army and most likely Britain s worst defeat in
all of World War 2. Singapore was considered to be a major part of the British Empire and it was
thought to be as strong as a fortress. Improvement s to Singapore as a British military base had only
been completed in 1938, a mere 4 years before the fall of Singapore. On the 8th February 1942, the
Japanese attacked across the Johor Strait. Many of the Allied fighters were simply too far away to
have any influence on the battle as they were spread out along the 112 kilometer coastline. They were
also kept away from the battle as it was feared that the Japanese would make another attack further
along the coastline. The Japanese took 100,000 men prisoner in Singapore, of which 9,000 died. It was
on the 15th February 1942 on which General Percival, who was the British commander in Singapore,
called for a ceasefire and made the decision to surrender. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

As I Lay Dying Essay
As I Lay Dying is an archetypal novel where the journey the characters embark on is a model for
others. Little Miss Sunshine, a movie rather than a novel, takes the basics of As I Lay Dying and alters
them to form a more modern version with a slightly different storyline. Little Miss Sunshine
successfully interprets the journey in As I Lay Dying because aspects of both the characters and their
trek emulate that of the novel As I Lay Dying.
The major events in the journey of the Hoovers in Little Miss Sunshine are analogous to that of the
Bundrens in As I Lay Dying. In both, the cause of the undertaking of the journey is because of a
promise. In one a promise to Addie Bundren that she will be buried in Jefferson, and in the other a

Darl is different than [the] others, as is Frank (Faulkner 21). Because of Darl s differences and his
unique personality, folks say [he] is queer [and] lazy and he is generally looked down upon by others
(Faulkner 24). However, people simply misunderstand him and his individuality. Frank, because of his
sexuality and his attempted suicide, is also different than those around him. He is misunderstood and
judged by others, even by some within his own family. Both become outsiders in their respective
families, in part because they distance themselves, and also because they are simply different than the
others in their family. They are both smarter than the people in their families, although the ways in
which they are smarter differ. Darl is smarter in that he is able to infer things that most do not notice.
He somehow knows that Dewey Dell is pregnant even though she has kept it a well protected secret,
and he refers to the fact that Jewel is not their father s son despite their mother never disclosing that
fact to anyone. Frank on the other hand, is an intellectual. He is more intelligent than his family
simply because he knows more and has learned more. While Darl is an excellent archetype for Frank s
character, there is a major difference between the two. Darl ends up being rejected from the family and
is sent to a cage in Jackson where his grimed hands [lie] light in the quiet interstices (Faulkner 254).

Every episode of the show may elucidate different myths and tales from different provinces to have
variations in order for children to learn other cultural treasures. Every episode of the children s
television show will be given to a specific province or region and their local myths or and tales. Also,
airing the episodes on the most appropriate time can be a great help. The most appropriate time may
be when children are all awake, done with their homework and at their full interest in learning. This
appropriate time would give the children s television show the satisfaction that children are watching
intently and attentively with their parents. Likewise, variation on the episodes will interest the children
to watch out for more local myths and tales. Watching different episodes can help children understand
the culture of other children because of their imaginative approach while watching. Since myths and
tales express cultures and traditions from the place where they came from, different myths and tales
from different parts of the Philippines also have different cultures and traditions. Therefore, episodes
with different myths and tales from different parts of the Philippines have different culture and

Double Cost Of Protein
Their reasoning behind this is that due to the fact that muscle is made of protein, that a higher intake
of protein will increase muscle mass growth due to the fact that muscles are made of protein and a
larger amount of protein intake will result in larger muscles if you are working out. Which seems
pretty logical, but there is not sufficient evidence to prove protein works.
Most protein extract is obtained from milk, eggs, soy, wheat and rice: a range of processed milk
proteins are used for different purposes such as increasing aerobic fitness, increasing muscle mass and

The effortless technique of the ballerina paints most ballets as exactly this. Consequently, there is

IF I SEE A GHOST ARE MY SENSES TO BLAME?

All these examples fall under error of perception but the following is an interesting experiment carried
out by the Toronto Society Of Psychical Research. They discovered that séance phenomena might be
attributed, at least in part, to the same psychokinetic force that is commonly believed to be responsible
for poltergeist (unquiet ghost) activity. They suggested that this force could be produced by the minds
of the sitters, fuelled perhaps by their unanimous belief that such phenomena would occur during the
séance. They theorized that the role of the medium was that of a placebo, and that no particular
psychic sensitivity was necessary for a successful séance.
Apart from considering all the forms of perceptional errors, we can explain the existence of such
spirits that are perceived (but not always believed!) If we want to stick to the Rationalist philosophy
and therefore state that such presences should be reasoned out, rather than just experienced, we can
say that this subject has brought together many professionals from around the globe, using their
knowledge and their equipment to get the truth out. This type of philosophical approach is what I am

Also, I want to be involved in promoting campaigns and advertisements for the newest trends. One of
the many highlights of this job is being able to travel to different states and even countries to attend

products up to date with trends and to sell them in retail shops. To become a fashion buyer one must

either business, marketing, or merchandising. Although internships are not required, except for certain
particular business classes or programs, interning could possibly benefit someone to achieve the

I am connected to God every day who is a superior power. I live an ethical and morally driven life as

Upon entering the yard, they discovered the tree house. The tree house was inaccessible but for a

and the others, so they swung themselves over the lower branches of the tree to reach the lower
landing of the tree house. They successfully managed to hoist themselves onto the lower landing from

tree house. Sherman was running ahead of the others but tumbled when one of the worn slatted steps
splintered and gave way. Sherman fell a long distance to the ground and sustained multiple injuries.
Discussion
The attractive nuisance doctrine is based on the fundamental fact that children do not possess the same
judgment or ability to recognize risk as adults. Johnson v. Wood, 155 Fla. 753, 21 So. 2d (Fla. 1945).
Its purpose is to afford the trespassing child, where the elements of the doctrine are met, the same
protection, applying the principles of ordinary negligence that would be afforded an invitee on the
premises. Martinello v. B amp; P USA, Inc., 566 So. 2d 762 (Fla. 1990). The burden of proof is upon
the plaintiff to demonstrate that each element of the attractive nuisance doctrine is satisfied. Id. at 764.

s father shows his trust when he says Teddy is safer with that little beast than is he has a bloodhound

beliefs. Rikki refuses to eat because he remembers that a full meal makes a slow mongoose (Kipling

Rikki is not only a loyal mongoose, he is very curious. Kipling shows Rikkis curiosity when
describing him saying: Rikki is curious and not easily frightened, (Kipling 80). This shows that Rikki
is not scared because he is so curious that nothing frightens him. Rudyard Kipling also mentions Rikki

Rikki also says that he must attend to every noise he hears. Rikki s alert and thirst to find out

Clear associations between nutritional deficiencies and psychosocial effects have been made.
However, the results of the study indicated malnutrition impact on development of infants and
toddlers was unknown, but malnutrition in children led to iron deficiency anemia (Skalicky et al.,

toddlers in the United States (Crowel et al., 2005). Even though the prevalence of iron deficiency
anemia has declined in the last three to four decades, it continues to be a major health concern for low
income infants and toddlers in the United States (Crowel et al., 2005). Research has connected iron
deficiency in early childhood with an increased risk for developmental delays (Crowel et al., 2005).
Most clinicians reported that all parents were advised to orally give medication to children with
anemia; however for low income families administering iron was not a priority (Crowel et al., 2005).
Iron deficiency anemia was seen as a minor issue for many low income parents, because it is a

support that iron deficiency causes delays for young children, but some previous research also

everyone is every country uses to search things around the world, buy things, and many other things.
Everyone also uses YouTube to watch all types of videos and music. Finally, Facebook is a social
media site that everyone uses and many businesses use this to advertise their products or services. The
American dream is what people love about America and why they come here. I mean who does not
want to live in a big house, have a happy family, a fence, a dog, and a nice job. America built so many
big and beautiful houses in every state and almost every city. We are a really diverse country and
many races from every country come here for a better life. Our economic stability comes from our
dollar that we put so much trust in. Most financial transactions are usually done in dollars because it is
one of the most powerful currencies out and we are not even backed by gold anymore. The faith of the

Mental Change In Greasy Lake By T. Coraghessan Boyle
Written in 1985, author T. Coraghessan Boyle s Greasy Lake is a short story retelling a catalyst
incidence that led to a mental change in a group of rebellious youths. The most critical scene where
this change is most apparent surfaces after the bad guys left and the narrator was left plunged in the
muddy river, contemplating his life and that of the corpse beside him. Through this short but intense
story, Boyle has successfully integrated the elements of characterisation and setting to vividly
illustrate the realization about life for the teenagers. The first to be exploited was how characterisation
of the narrator and his friends in the scene has contributed to the theme of changing. The clear tactile
imageries in the paragraph such ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The instance of morning coming when the sky turned from black to cobalt and the trees separate[d]
themselves from the shadows suggests a new beginning just as the teenagers trudged out from the
shadows of the lake their wrongdoings. Their mishaps are no longer noticeable, lying on the field as if
from a vanished civilization . Their desert from badness have been implied in this setting as a
naturally right thing, like nature . Moreover, the sound of bird chirping, the sight of dew on leaves,
and the smell of sun firing buds and opening blossoms , are all symbolisms of a brand new promising
start, an opportunity to rid the old selves and change for the new, like buds and blossoms and morning
light breaking the dark. Although the vestige of the past is still vaguely there, the broken glass and
garbage , the mud and shattered glass , the narrator and his friends have forgiven their errors and
improved upon their view of life, bending and decided their future that was no more than five feet
from the open door the keys . No greater symbolism can be expressed when the narrator mentioned
the glinting keys like jewels in the first tapering shaft of sunlight . These are the concluding sign that
indicated the rightful directions that the youths have taken and their concluded resolve to abstain from
all badness from

My Hawaii Place
As everyone grows up and learn new things. They also travel and get to see new places. There are
different places that people admire, whether it is close or far. My favorite place that i ve been to is the
big island of hawaii. Although I don t go to hawaii that often ,it is still a special place to me . The first
and obvious reason why the Big island of hawaii is my favorite place is because its far away from the
mainland. The other 49 states are both unique and interesting in their own way. However on the east
coast, life can be stressful and busy. In places like NYC and philly drivers always needs to be
somewhere and can t relax or take their time. Not to mention its heavily populated. What makes
Hawaii different from mainland america is that it s far away on an island with not that many people.
The big island of hawaii especially has fewer people and they are all native to the island. Hawaii was a
whole different culture and life from The states. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As we make our way to the front of the hotel my mother goes to the tour guide,
I m so sorry we re late , we just got here last night and still feel jet lagged . The guy was playing the
guitar and singing and looks at my mom and smiles.
Don t you worry mam , here in hawaii we go wherever the wave takes us. My mom was confused
what he meant by the comment and i told her that he means there is not rush in hawaii. When we got
into the tour bus and driving around. Our tour guide would pull over or slow down whenever he
recognized anyone he would open the window and say good morning and the people would wav and
say good morning back.
As we were going on the tour bus there was a girl who would say to her mom,
Mommy i think im getting hunary . The tour guide soon turned his head around quick as a road runner

Craig Key in Florida is a calm peaceful, relaxing, and tranquil place to go fishing. There are just two
properties in this little key, Overseas Highway, and the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. Florida
Keys Overseas Heritage Trail is on the side of the road where my family goes fishing. The Florida
Keys are, as the Florida Fish and Wildlife officer said a beautiful place to go fishing if anyone
annoying is not around, by which he meant if other people were around.
In the morning when the birds are singing and the sun is out my family and I are getting ready to get
on the road. My brothers Ulises and William assist me while I mount the fishing rods, tackle box,

Chesnutt s Evolving Treatment of the Color Line Through Naturalism in A Matter of Principle and
The House Behind the Cedar s
Charles W. Chesnutt, a well educated mulatto man, lived his life on the color line. Chesnutt s skin was
very light and was sometimes mistaken for a white man. Chesnutt chose to identify himself as a black
man, but in his works, his characters move back and forth across the color line and struggle with the
world they exist in. The Wife of His Youth and Other Stories of the Color Line was published one year
before The House Behind the Cedars and included the short story, A Matter of Principle, where
Chesnutt clearly begins to explore what options are available to a mulatto man and his family, which

They educate themselves, gain wealth and prominence in their surroundings, emulate and eventually
become a part of a certain type of elevated culture. Their associations consist mainly of an exclusive
mulatto circle that aspires to be white. Despite John and Mr. Clayton s feelings that they have been
denied their birthright and their inclinations towards being white, the powers that be do not allow their
acceptance into white society. A key component of literary naturalism is the idea that the world is a
greater force than man and will make man s determination to exert free will and change his
environment futile. No matter their passion to be seen as white, by heredity they are black.
Rena, a mulatto woman, does not feel that she has been denied anything, yet she craves opportunity.
Her goals include a refined education, the ability to own nice things and move among prestigious
circles, and to begin a family that is honest and loving. Her philosophies distinguish her from John and
Clayton. Rena takes the character of Clayton to the next step. Rena values all people, no matter what
race formulates their blood. For Rena, advancement should come based on hard work and ethics, not
based on race or deception.
Having achieved an education and amassed wealth, the gap between John and Clayton and their
respective black communities naturally widened, but each man

  • 2. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Neonatal Nurse Practitioner A baby was just born at 26 weeks gestation. Just over half the normal 40 weeks a baby should stay inside the mother. The baby is immediately whisked away and taken to be evaluated and prepared for a long journey ahead. Ever since I could remember babies and the nursery at the hospital have fascinated me. Whenever we would go visit a friend who had a baby, I would find myself peaking over the windows into the nursery. I have known for a while that working in the neonatal intensive care unit is what I want to pursue. Recently I have been looking into nurse practitioners and furthering my education beyond my BSN. Being able to care for these infants in the most critical stages of their life, and being able to provide them the support they need to survive outside the womb seems so satisfying . Neonatal nurse practitioners have years of education, deep history, detailed job description, high demands and some legal issues. However, as there are ongoing concerns of humanity, key ideologies resonate over time and are affirmed between texts as shown in William Shakespeare s play King Richard III (1591) and Al Pacino s docudrama Looking For Richard (1996). King Richard III examines the irrational behaviours and moral ramifications of a power lust Richard to explore ideas of the relentless pursuit of power, betrayal and deceit, reflective of the theocentric context of the Elizabethan society. Centuries later, Looking For Richard explores Pacino s journey to reshape a Shakespearean text that is representative of the changing contextual norms and values of a contemporary American audience who are confused and sceptical about the relevance of Shakespeare s plays. Both texts provide an image of Richard s deceit reflective of their distinctive contexts. However, despite the disparity of time, both texts display how key ideas such as deceit, endure and resonate over time. Distinctive contexts have the capacity to offer new insights and understandings that can challenge and drastically alter the portrayal of societal norms and values. In simpler words, in the past, humanity used the herd instinct as the main driving force behind committed forms of activism. Thanks to the Internet, we climb another step or three on the evolutionary ladder, and simply do away with the herd instinct and replace it with reason. The argument, if put this way, does not sound particularly strong. What can be taken away is that social media is still evolving, that social media changes the way we or most of us communicate, that social media is used in social and political activism, and that the Internet increases quantitative if not qualitative access to information. Programming Models Of Wsn System Research Proposal Title Programming Models of WSN System: A State of the Art Survey Introduction There are a lot scenarios need different sensor nodes to collaborate and integrated on the air into networks to facilitate applications. The scaled down censoring system presented below is an example of those wireless sensor networks (WSN). In this system sensors are different between corridors area and manufacturing area, since they need different precise level. Those sensors combined together by different wireless AP and provide services to different applications inside and outside the plant. This is where virtualization shines. Virtualization creates an uniformed environment in heterogeneous sensor networks. It bridge the gap between infrastructure and applications. And the network and sensor virtualization can achieved by the middleware. Middleware hide unnecessary details and complexity of the underlying heterogeneous infrastructures, like different sensor nodes and different wireless AP in the presented scenario. Software designs and programming approaches for the middleware design should facilitate the balance between communication and computing. Energy awareness, routing, efficient resource utilization and data delivery have always been the key parameters for an efficient programming model for WSN. Motivating Scenario Fig 1. Little Miss Sunshine, a movie rather than a novel, takes the basics of As I Lay Dying and alters them to form a more modern version with a slightly different storyline. Little Miss Sunshine successfully interprets the journey in As I Lay Dying because aspects of both the characters and their trek emulate that of the novel As I Lay Dying. The major events in the journey of the Hoovers in Little Miss Sunshine are analogous to that of the Bundrens in As I Lay Dying.
