In my food log, I tracked my food and liquid consumption for five days in a row. I thought this
was interesting process, but I kinda of liked it. At some points of the process I thought it was
kinda of difficult to remember to log the food I ate on the computer. But, ultimately I thought it
was worth it because I got to see all the macro and micro nutrients I consumed which is something
I don t always get to see.
I would saw that my consumption of kcals were around the same range. Out of the five days I
tracked my intake, I ranged around 1,000 kcals a day. I guess you could say that I don t really a
good variety of foods in my diet, so I would definitely change that by adding more fruits and
vegetables. I also would make the change of eating a little bit more food, because I think only 1,000
kcals a day is a little less. I think I will try to bum it up to 1,500 or 1533 which is my recommended
DRI.

Advantages The organization I decided to survey was United Community options of Miami.
UCO of Miami is a Non Profit organization that serves adults and children with disabilities. UCO
has a day program for adults where they can participate in recreational activities, go on
excursions and also offer adults with disabilities employment skills training. United Community
options was established in 1947 and has always aimed to being accessible for people with
disabilities. The first thing I notice when I entered the parking lot was that UCO had four
accessible parking spots and out of those four spots two are van accessible. They also have
accessible drop off areas and accessible routes to get to the entrance. The front door which is 64
inches wide is automatic and stays open until the person passes through. The front door leads to
the lobby which is very wide and has enough space for people that use wheel chairs to enter
without obstruction getting in the way. The whole building is leveled and doesn t require
ramps for the front entrance. Once past the front lobby there are a sequence of hallways you can
take in order to get where you want to. Most of the hall ways measure from 59 inches to 84

himself by having his wife teach Josh how to read, write, and count money.
