The Importance Of The Age Of Discovery
Portugal is known for initiating the Age of Discovery. They played an important role in
exploration. Many new lands were discovered, boosting trade, power, and wealth, during the Age
of Discovery. Early exploration began in the late 1300s and early 1400s under Prince Henry, aka
the Navigator.
One key factor that led to Portugal s power was Ceuta, a major port city in north Africa, that
controlled ships entering and exiting the Mediterranean Sea. King John I, Henry s father,
conquered the city after being encouraged by Henry. On an early morning on August 21, 1415,
King John I, along with his sons, led an army to Playa San Amaro, a beach in Ceuta. They sieged
the garrison and took the Ceuta by nightfall. They went on taking four more islands off the
northwest coast of Africa, in which they explored and colonized.
In 1431, the Azores were discovered and colonized. In 1443, the Bay of Arguin was colonized, and
later, the Portuguese constructed a fort. By 1462, the Portuguese had explored the coast of Africa
as far as present day Sierra Leone These colonies produced extozic trade goods, such as wine,
spices, ivory, gold, and herbs, making the Portigal not only wealthy but also powerful. In 1498, the
Cape of Good Hope was discovered, but Henry never lived to see this great discovery. He died at
the age of 66 in 1460. His legacy lived on. Henry s navigation and discoveries officially began the
Age of Discovery, and it was not long before other European nations joined.

I Love Baseball Analysis
love baseball. I love watching the strategies, the big plays, the colossal errors (anyone remember
poor Bill Buckner?) and the dramatic finishes. The Tampa Bay Rays, who in nine of their first ten
years of existence finished dead last in their division (In 2004 they managed to beat out one team
and finished fourth in their division), surprised everyone in 2008 by beating out such teams as the
Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees
and made it to the World Series only to lose to the
Philadelphia Phillies. Even though they lost the World Series, they were heroes in the eyes of
millions who rooted for them and their storybook season.
One strategy that I particularly enjoy is the use of specialty players, of which the most prevalent
is the closer . The closer is a pitcher who is brought in for just a very short period of the game
(typically the last inning of a game) to shut down opponent ... Show more content on

Time after time many project managers will start out of the blocks full of excitement and
passion about their project. Then along the way things start going wrong, whether it be
unanticipated schedule or budget issues, an unforeseen risk spinning out of control, or an ugly
issue rearing its head. Rather than act deliberately, many PM s will sweep the problem under the
rug, start screaming fire , panic, or politically disengage themselves from the problem by blaming
someone else. In any event, rather than act to address the problem the PM does nothing to help
the situation and most likely does things to further exacerbate the problem. If management is
attentive to the problem then a likely outcome is to replace the project manager with a closer ; a
more experienced and seasoned PM who can stare down a problem and get things under control.

Dual Federalism
Federalism is the federal principle or system of government. The framers who were worried about
the government having too much power mainly because Government can pose a threat to
individual liberties. The constitution then provides a division of powers, which means it assigns
certain powers to the National Government, such as Dual federalism, cooperative Dual federalism
is based on the relatively optimistic belief that a clear division between federal and state
authority. Dual federalism lasted from 1789 1901 and then came back into play in 19060 s When
the depression came the president came and made government more of a cooperative system. The

Cooperative federalism was ued primarily during the time of the depression to make
government run better. Through cooperative federalism it almost gives the bigger government
the power to make smaller government comply. For example, the works progress helped put
millions into work during the 1930 s. Regulatory federalism is a term used to describe the
emergence of federal programs (started in the mid 1960s).Regulatory federalism also includes
congresses legislations on states to meet their standards. An example of regulatory federalism
happens to be the no child left behind act. Which is an example of how all states and
government must make sure that every kid gets the correct education. New Federalism typically
involves the Federal government providing block grants to the states to resolve a social issue
says Business Dictionary. New federalism lasted from 1937 1997 when the supreme court did not
void an act. New Federalism started when a Plan implemented under the Nixon administration that
transferred some powers previously held by the federal government back to the state level. Under
Franklin Roosevelt s New Deal some powers were removed from the state level, so the states
regain some of its authority Says

Analysis Of Michael Billig s Theory On Banal Nationalism...
The Hmong are known to have tightly knitted communities that are created through ties of kinship
in a clan based society. This sense of kinship is essential as a catalyst for the Hmong in
developing and producing a strong sense of nationalism despite the fact that they do not have a
recognized political state or homeland. This is especially important as the Hmong population has
been dispersed to all parts of the world following their involvement in a multitude of geopolitical
struggles. Despite having a scattered global population, the Hmong are continuously finding ways
to remain distinct and as a unified people, especially here in the United States. The Hmong create
and reproduce a sense of nationalism despite facing cultural decline and having relatively
separated communities built around different urban centers across the United States. Additionally,
this research will discuss how the sense of nationalism can be a way for the Hmong to move
forward despite facing cultural decline. In this research, these elements will be explained and
explored through Michael Billig s theory on banal nationalism (Billig, 1995). Nationalism is most
often seen as a sudden spark of patriotism or strong feelings of loyalty and appreciation to a nation
state after some sort of triggering event. Some of the most recognizable moments in United States
history that have sparked widespread nationalism in its citizens include the Sandy Hook shooting,
the bombing of the World Trade center, and the

Government bonds were issued on a per mile for each twenty mile section of track completed.
For the plateau between the Rocky and Sierra Nevada Mountains the amount per mile was about
$32,000 per mile and for the mountain regions, $48,000. All plain, flat lands were priced at
$16,000 per mile (Klein) (Gordon 217). It was very difficult to raise the needed capital as the
majority of people in the east viewed the west as, remote as the moon, its terrain alien and
forbidding (Klein). The pioneers of these projects knew it would take an immense amount of
resources. It was very clear to both the railroad companies and the government, there would not be
profit for the construction of the railroad, only after it is finished. The debt from these bonds had
to be paid back, and the only way to do so was through private investment. The appendix of this

Operation Of Health Care System
OPERATION OF HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
The medical system in Cuba is a national priority, it provides care to every citizens. It is primary
care based, which means that team of doctors and nurses are in every part of the country and are
responsible for the health of a geographically defined population of 800 1800 people. Most of the
frequent visitors and people with chronic diseases, usually they spent half the day consulting
people in office and other half for the home visit. They are expected to be available for the patients

One of the key differences between the US health system and Cuba health system is that Cuba
focuses on preventing diseases rather than treating the diseases. And everyone will be having family
physician and nurses. For the Cuba health system there are no private hospitals, all hospitals and
clinics are controlled by the government and people are given access to the system without any

disease will be visited frequently. If it is necessary patients are referred for specialty evaluation, but
after the evaluation they will come back to the community team for ongoing treatment.
This prevention orientation structure has produced positive result for the Cuba. Vaccination rates
in Cuba is the highest in world. The infant mortality rate fallen from 80 per 1000 live births to 5

Drinking And Driving Case Study
1.Was This Presentation Valuable?
This presentation on the risks of driving while under the influence of cannabis was extremely
informative while also being engaging and interesting at the same time. In my opinion, the
presentation was particularly valuable because drugs have become a very prominent subject
among my age group, and not everyone is knowledgeable of all the risks associated with
smoking. In health, we learn about the effects of drugs and the risks of drinking alcohol and
driving, however, we don t really cover the topic of smoking and driving, which leads people to
think there is nothing at risk. This presentation informs us of the potentially deadly risks of driving
while under the influence of cannabis that many people are unaware of. As well, the information
provided not only informs people who do/might smoke in the future of what they may be putting at
risk, but it also informs people of the risk who then could prevent a friend of potentially making
the poor decision of smoking and driving.
2.Two Interesting Things From The Presentation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One interesting thing is that almost 50% of youth indicated no concerns about smoking and driving.
I found this puzzling because as teens, our school, parents, and the media constantly tell us about
the dangers of drugs and how they impair our thinking. I found it interesting to know that although
most teens know the risks of smoking, they don t have concerns for increasing those risks by
driving, which would put many more people at risk of an accident. Another thing I found
interesting is that almost 1 in 5 youths in vehicle accidents tested positive for cannabis. This shows
how prominent the issue is in our society, especially in youth, and proves that more promotion of
the risks should be done, such as this type of presentation, in order to control the

Liebeck V. Mcdonalds Essay
This paper will consider the facts associated with the case of Stella Liebeck versus McDonald s,
resulting from Ms. Liebeck s efforts to collect for damages sustained when she spilled extremely
hot coffee into her lap in 1992. The issues, applicable laws and the conclusion the jury reached will
also be covered as well as the subsequent impacts on American tort law following this decision. The
facts in the Liebeck case start with the incident description as recounted by Aric Press in the March
20, 1995 issue of Newsweek. Ms. Liebeck was a recently retired, 79 year old woman who ordered
coffee at a McDonald s drive through and received it in a lidded, styrofoam cup (Press, 1995, p. 32).

McDonald s had as many as 700 reports of coffee that scalded customers, creating injuries (Gerlin,
1994, p.1). The jury decided that the plaintiff was entitled to both compensatory damages of
$200,000, reduced by $40,000 for her own negligence, and punitive damages totaling $2.7 million
(Gerlin, 1994, p.1). Gerlin (1994) goes on to state that the jury found that McDonald s had
engaged in willful, reckless or malicious conduct and subsequently used that for the basis of their
punitive damages (p. 2). The number settled on was equivalent roughly to two days worth of
coffee sales companywide (Gerlin, 1994, p.2). The jury concluded that McDonald s behaved
callously and punished them accordingly (Coffin, 2004, p.4). The jury decided the warning on
the cup was insufficient for the hazard (Press, 1995, p.33). The jury applied the law correctly
since it was determined that McDonald s was acting outside the parameters of peers, had been
previously warned of and settled cases associated with scald burns, and did not properly or clearly
notify patrons of the level of severity of the inherent danger. The standard of proof for success exists
such that the plaintiff must prove that the defendant knew or should have known that, without a
warning, the product would be dangerous in its ordinary use... (Kubasek, et. al., in Hartigan, ed.,
2004, p. 172). In this case, the temperature of the item and the inadequate marking of the container,

Pacifism And Anabaptism In The 16th Century Europe
Introduction Life in 16th century Europe was short, difficult and tumultuous. One hundred years
after Luther started the Protestant Reformation by nailing his 95 thesis to the door of the
Wittenberg church, religious and state relationships were ever shifting and evolving. Traditions and
beliefs were being threatened by new discoveries and schools of thought while those with
contradicting beliefs were singled out for persecution. Food and shelter were not guaranteed,
especially for the poor, and disease and war were an ever looming dark cloud of death and
destruction. The members of the newly developing religious group called Anabaptism were often
the main target of persecution and were faced with the options of migrating, recanting and most
harshly, execution. They had many reasons and opportunities to resist and revolt using violent
measures, as was customary at the time, but instead they held fast in their pacifistic beliefs,
rejecting any and all violence. The 16th century Anabaptists demonstrated their dedication to
pacifismeven when challenged with scripture that opposed their beliefs, persecution and war.
Definition of Pacifism Anabaptists were often described as pacifists due to their rejection of the
sword and opposition to violence. However, it is important to note that pacifism is a moderately
new term, coined in the 20th century and that their beliefs are perhaps better explained using the
terms absolute pacifism and nonresistance, or Gewaltlosigkeit in German. Pacifism is [t]he belief
that war and violence are unjustifiable and that all disputes should be settled by peaceful means.
It can be seen as an active stance against violence, specifically war, to settle disputes, whereas
non resistance implies a passive stance, avoiding involvement in any form of violence or event
that could lead to violence. Pacifism can be religious or non religious, political or not, and is
anchored largely in a basic belief in the goodness and perfectibility of man and the reformability of
the general human society on rational grounds. On the other hand, nonresistance is seen as an
outward manifestation of the peace of God within the soul, and is the peace of God applied to our
relation with our fellow man.

The Theory Of International Relations
When studying International Relations, there are various theories involved, three of these theories
being: realism, liberalism, and constructivism. A theory is fundamentally ideas and complex
concepts that have their own way of understanding something. These theories are used in evaluating
world politics, by coming up with a unique way of identifying and explaining the events that occur
around the world (Mingst 5). The theories help explain different perspectives on how the world
system functions; as the political scientist, Stephen Walt explains,
No single approach can capture all the complexity of contemporary world politics. Therefore we are
better off with a diverse array of competing ideas rather than a single theoretical orthodoxy.
Competition between theories helps reveal their strengths and weaknesses and spurs subsequent
refinements, while revealing flaws in conventional wisdom (Mingst 6). Realism focuses on the idea
that each state bases its policies off of the interpretation that it s national interest is defined in terms
of power (Mingst 6). Realists believe that because the international system is anarchic, which means
that there is no authoritative hierarchy, it leads to a self help system in the states, where each state
has to fend for, and support itself. Since states under the realist theory must rely on themselves for
their own security, they can often be seen as selfish, fearful and power seeking. Realists believe that
in this system, states

Correlation Between The Locations Of Known Gang Members...
Research Question Is there a spatial relationship between the locations of known gang members and
drug violations?
Analysis It is expected, based on social disorganization theory, that census tracts with high
concentrations of gang members will also be high in disorganization. As seen in figure 1 this will
be established by creating a contour line hot spot of gang member locations and drug violations
overlaid on a map showing social disorganization. Social disorganization will be based on low
education levels and high unemployment rates, which are generally accepted measurements of
disorganized neighborhoods (see Gottfredson, Mcneil Gottfredson, 1991; Teasdale, Clark Hinkle,
2012). The map clearly shows that gang members live in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

However, we know that gangs do form in areas that are already high in crime and according to one
study they may not further increase crime in those areas but they do lead to a clustering of drug
offenses (Tita Ridgeway, 2007). Therefore, a cluster and outlier analysis (Anselin Local Morans
I) was conducted to determine if there is significant clustering in gang related areas. Seen in
figure 3, drug violations are clustered in the areas around known gang member locations. Based
on journey to crime and routine activities a central feature analysis was done to further explore if
gang member locations are associated with drug violation locations. Euclidean distance was
utilized for this analysis as gang members do not travel large distances and therefore are most
likely on foot and not restricted to roadways. Central feature was selected over mean center as
gang members are more likely to work out of their homes than any other offenders (Eck Gersh,
2000) so it was likely the central offense would be very close or near the home of a known gang
member. When broken down by year the central features were stacked on top of each other with
only the slightest variation as can be seen in figure 4. Finally, a buffer will be placed around gang
member locations to determine which drug violations are likely related to their gang (figure 5).
The buffer was set at 250ft as drug dealers generally have a limited journey to crime.

The North Face
The North Face is a rapidly growing brand that started out as a small shop in San Francisco,
California. It was founded by two hikers as a small mountaineering retail shop, but has since taken
off to become a world renowned chain with high quality outdoor clothing and gear. The quality and
variety of the brandhas encouraged the extreme sport goers to continue to shop and spread the
word of its reliability. This is important for a lot of the consumers because the Earth is nothing to
mess with. They need reliable outerwear to keep them warm if they are climbing Mount Everest
or even if they are just skiing down some easy bunny slopes in Colorado. The growth rate of the
business alone shows the quality of the brand, but is not the only reason the brand has done so
well. The logoplays a huge role in the spread of a business. All it takes is a glance at someone s
jacket for a new customer to discover the iconic brand.
The North Face logo is brilliant in the fact that it is simple yet unmistakable. At first glance, one

Antigone By Sophocles Antigone
In Sophocles, Antigone begins with the stages of grief as Antigone mourns the loss of her two
brothers, Polyneikes and Eteokles, who die simultaneously in face to face combat in Thebes.
Eteokles dies with honor fighting for the Thebesians and is honored with rituals and a proper
burial. The body of Polyneikes, who attempted to burn the city of Thebes, is left for the dogs
and birds to savage. Thesbesian s law forbids anyone giving a traitor, like Polyneikes, a proper
burial, for that itself is a crime punishable by death. Antigone is angered that Polyneikes is not
going to receive a proper burial and is determined that she must honor him even if it means the end
of her life. Antigone alone attempts to bury her brother, but is captured and imprisoned, at which
point she decides to form a noose around her neck and end her life. Sophoclesleaves the reader to
question whether Antigone s suicide is an act of heroism, a stand for the citizens of Thebes, or a
selfish way of coping with personal trauma. Antigone sought assistance in burying her brother
from her only family member alive, her sister, Ismene, who tries to reason with her. Ismene
proclaims, Remember, we re women. How can we fight men? They re stronger (Sophocles 749).
The physical statures of neither Polyneikes nor Antigone were not ever mentioned, but in general
men typically weigh more and have a larger build than women. We have to assume that she doesn t
want to elicit help from others because the risk of

Abstract We would like to outline our opinions about the usability of biometric security systems.
We outline the position of biometrics in the current field of security in the first section of our paper.
The second chapter introduces a more systematic view of the process of biometric authentication a

and disadvantages of biometric authentication systems. We also propose a classification of... Show

Still no liveness testing or tamper resistance is required.
The biometric authentication is sufficient authentication.
A traditional authentication method as a sufficient authentication method is offered only in the case
of biometric system malfunction. Systems on level two offer a certain level of security and still
remain relatively cheap. Some of the easiest attacks are eliminated, but the systems still can be
tampered with or cheated with faked biometric characteristics.
C.Level 3 Intermediate systems
Level three systems already do have some kind of liveness test. Exposed components of the system
(typically the biometric input device) must be guarded or tamperresistant against moderate attacks.
The communication must be authenticated and encrypted. The biometric authentication is
sufficient, and the system never offers traditional authentication as a sufficient authentication
method. Such biometric systems will be able to resist moderate attacks.
Advanced tampering methods or advanced faked biometric characteristics, however, will still be
able to cheat the biometric systems.

Harmonization of Accounting Standards
Abstract Discussion on harmonization is started quite long time ago. Its impact on the countries
economy is good or bad is the central idea of this essay. This essay is written specifically on the
accounting standard used in Australia. This essay starts with introduction on various topics such as
conceptual framework, IASB, Sacs then it discussed the issue of harmonization. Harmonization
will have positive impact on the economy because it attracts overseas investors to invest in
Australia. This essay covers difference between conceptual framework developed in Australia and

R., and S. Jones, 2002 Conceptual framework is like a constitution for standard setting process. It
is the concepts to define nature, subject, and purpose, of the financial report. it has many
advantages to have a conceptual framework for than company for example when there is a
conceptual framework implemented in the country then all business bodies follows that framework
and so there is better communication between different business entities. Otherwise it is not
possible if there is no conceptual framework in the country. The AARF (Australian accounting
research foundation) has discussed many different benefits of having conceptual framework as
follows all financial reports will be in consistent with others. Setting conceptual framework is also
economical for the country. More advantages are given below: Those who made the framework
are now more responsible and accountable for their actions .entities are now more accountable if
they do not proved any disclosure or giving false information. CF provides a means of
communicating key concepts to financial report to preparers and users, as well as providing
guidance to reporting entities when no specific standards address a particular issue.Financial reports
made by the help of conceptual framework are consistent and more in logical manner so that there
is more understandability in the financial reports. Because standard setters will have harmony on

More Life Drake Analysis
Upon the release of Drake s newest project, More Life, I figured it d be best to curtail any
expectations I had; following the partial disappointment of Views and the singles he released
prior. Consequently, it surpassed each assumption that I didn t even have for it. Playlist, mixtape,
album, whatever the fuck you call it, this is one of Drake s most cohesive pieces to date. Hell, it s
so cohesive that calling it anything but an album just seems downright ridiculous, but it s evident
now that no one s stopping him from doing whatever the hell he wants to. The world influence on

Introductory Physics Personal Statement
I began teaching as a graduate teaching assistant and project assistant at the University of Wisconsin
Madison. As a teaching assistant, I conducted labs, discussion sessions, and some honor sessions
for introductory physics courses in electromagnetism, thermal dynamics, optics, and modern
physics. As a project assistant, my responsibilities included grading homework, discussing it with
students, and prepare some homework solutions in quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, and
an introductory physicscourse. In teaching physics, my main goal is to have my students actively
thinking like physicists. I believe that the ability to think like a physicist is valuable to everyone,
whether physics graduates, physics majors or non physics majors. And more importantly, the ability
can be developed in physics classes, especially critical thinking and quantitative analysis. To better
achieve this goal, I gear my approaches to different groups of students.

encouraged the students to discuss the problems in groups, so that they could focus more on how to

Lou Gehrig s Ethos
Yet today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth. Lou Gehrig On July 4,
1939, at the Yankee Stadium, in New York, a man delivered one of the most efficient and
rousing speeches of all time. A man whose skill set did not lie within the realm of speechmaking;
rather his artistry lied on the baseball field. His name was Lou Gehrig, and the sole purpose of
his speech was to show how courageous and strong willed an individual can be when faced with
misfortune. Throughout Mr. Gehrig s rather short speech he heavily applied ethos, which is
based on our perception of a speaker s competence, character, good will, and dynamism. (Osborn
Turner, 2015, p.341) as well as pathos which appeals to personal feelings such as fear, pity, and
anger. (Osborn Turner, 2015, p.341). By using these two combined appeals it allowed Mr. Gehrig to
establish himself as a courteous and appreciative man who acknowledged himself as a an individual
lucky enough to be presented with the wondrous opportunities life held. Logos is the evidence and
proofs that the speech develops fit together into patterns of reasoning that thoughtful listeners find
acceptable, convincing, and compelling. (Osborn Turner, 2015,... Show more content on

he mentions specific individuals and specific moments from his life and responds with that s

Johnathan practiced fielding he kept on falling onto his right knee (shown in the picture above)
due to the trajectory of the ball and his catching skills. Johnathan didn t tell anyone or his coach
when he saw him later on. The day of the game, Johnathan favourably put on his jersey and the

Hester Prynne Analysis
D.H. Lawrence, an English novelist and literary critic, penned his essay On the Scarlet Letter as a
critique of the novel The Scarlet Letter written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Lawrence argued that
Hester Prynne, the novel s protagonist, is not a victim, but rather is a sinful, corrupted character
acting in her own self interest. Lawrence was effective in portraying his analysis of Prynne by his
use of harsh diction, biblical allusions, and choppy syntax. The harsh diction utilized by Lawrence
in his essay achieves his purpose. Lawrence began his critique by introducing his cynical
perspective that the greatest triumph a woman can have, especially an American woman, is
seducing a man, especially if he is pure (Lawrence). This hyperbole... Show more content on

He emphasized irony through these contrasts, because of the ways in which society has portrayed
both Prynne and Magdalene from their independent actions. Lawrence writes and instructs to take
Prynne and put her on the scaffold and worship her there (Lawrence). This opposes Prynne s
sinful shame on the scaffold to the pure worship of the Virgin Mary. His purpose in satirizing the
two is achieved, as he creates a mockery of Prynne s misconduct.
Similar to Magdalene, Lawrence argued that Hawthorne s portrayal of Hester as a victim is
inherently flawed, and her scheming nature insists that her able nature be further questioned.
With this in mind, Lawrence compared Prynne to the biblical character of Abel (Lawrence). In
the book of Genesis, the Holy Bible explains that Cain murders his twin brother Abel out of a fit
of jealousy. Since Prynne takes on the role of Abel in his critical essay, Lawrence s tone deemed
the symbol of Cain to be the root cause of Prynne s sin. Like Abel, Prynne is viewed by society as
a victim, as thus has a reputation forever defined by these labels. This is seen most in The Scarlet
Letter as Prynne never completely escapes her identity as a sinful woman. Although Prynne lives on
in the conclusion of the novel while Dimmesdale died, her actions lead her in a permanent state of
separation from God. Furthermore, Lawrence s selection of choppy syntax communicates his
aggressive stance on Prynne. Through

Academic Coaching With Austin Is Going Well Essay
Academic coaching with Austin seems to still be going well. Except for the fact that he still

know how to approach this topic with him again because I already went over it and expressed

supervisors about it and she believes that he needs to be the one making first contact about missing
appointments, instead of just responding when I reach out. He just always seems to have such
good excuses. This week he was at a review session for his midterm. I just needhim to

demeanor changed and I could tell that he was upset.

The Technique Of Energy Harvesting From Radio Signals
1.Introduction:
The technique of energy harvesting from radio signals has received much attention in various
applications in the recent time, such as radio frequency identification systems [1] and body
sensor networks with medical implants [2]. According to the 2010 wireless smart phone customer

category except for battery life. The latest report in China also reflects the same problem. Based
on the data, up to 60% of the users complained that battery endurance was the greatest hurdle when
using 3G services. (Daquan Feng, 2013) In recent year, a new concept of energy harvesting from

The Roman Catholic Church has a long history compared to most of the branches of Christianity.
Before the Protestant Reformation, the Catholic Church was the main church, besides the Eastern
Orthodox in the east. Being very powerful at the time, the Roman Catholic church was very corrupt,
one of its main practices and one of the major reasons for the Reformation was Indulgences, where
one would pay for the removal of one s sins. Martin Luther opposed this and many other corrupt
practices of the church. To counter the Protestant Reformation and to gain back their credibility the
Catholic church also had its own Reformation, know as Counter Reformation , where they cleaned

establishing new and better religious orders and getting rid of Indulgences.

Analysis Of Susan Glaspell s Trifles Essay
In any form of writing, various literary elements come together to compose a thorough and
multifaceted work of literature. All the elements serve a distinct purpose; symbolism, for one, is
imperative in a literary work because it aids the reader in the overall comprehension of the
particular theme or multiple themes that a story is trying to convey. In Susan Glaspell s, Trifles,
she meticulously incorporates significant symbols that help the reader recognize and construe the
depth of the significance of the jarof fruit preserves, quilt, bird, and the bird cage. Things are not
always as insignificant as they appear to be, and Glaspell s play is a prime example of how
important it is to read between the lines. A central theme in Glaspell s play is gender obedience,
displayed seemingly by Mrs. Wright. Because the focus of Mrs. Wright s life, as a wife,
revolved around maintaining fruit preserves, we can conclude that her primary concern for the
state of the jar of preserves was more significant that the mere thought of frozen fruit. The jars of
fruit preserves were Mrs. Wright s escape and distraction; something she had control over and
something she could call her own. This is why the women understood why she would be so
concerned about her preserves even in the midst of a legal predicament. MRS. PETERS. [To the

person s daily nutritional needs could be acquired with a glass of juice. Juicing is often regarded
as a fad diet, made famous by Dr. Oz and the Kardashians. When, in actuality, juicing is a holistic
way of curing ailments, detoxifying the body, as well as an easy means of getting the daily amount
of necessary vitamins to remain healthy. To begin with, juicing is a holistic way of curing ailments.

Not to mention raw juices are easily processed by the body compared to synthetic vitamins and
can prevent chronic disease more effectively when put up against supplements. Plus, juicing is an
easier and faster alternative to eating regular, whole fruits. Texture and taste can be off putting so,
if juiced, the taste can be masked by other fruits or veggies. To be concise, juicing is just as
healthy, if not healthier, than eating regular fruits and vegetables. It is a way of life that not only is
beneficial to your health but also to the well being of your mind. Through Dr. Max Gerson s
findings, it disproves the notion juicing is just a fad diet. Juicing has the ability to heal, detoxify
and deliver ample amounts of vitamins and nutrients needed in just one glass. So next time,
instead of having a V8, juice at home, its a surefire way to live a long and healthy way of

Microsoft Azure And Google App Engine Essay
Data location and data segregation are of importance in the cloud, given the disparate physical
location of shared computing resources. It is a possibility that cloud users be under statutory,
regulatory or contractual obligations to ensure that data is held and managed in a certain way.
To understand where the data is stored in the cloud, a person must what type of cloud
deployment models there are in use. There are four different cloud deployment models that are
used in the cloud computing environment. The four models are private cloud, public cloud,
hybrid cloud and community cloud. A private cloud can be owned or leased and managed by the
organization or a third party and exist at on premises or off premises. A public cloud is an
infrastructure is provided to many customers is managed by a third party and exist beyond the

Essay on The Customs of Rosh Hashanah
The Customs of Rosh Hashanah Rosh Hashanah falls on the first of Tishri, a Jewish month
which falls in September. It is regarded as a high holy day, on which all normal activity ceases.
Even those Jews who are not particularly observant will make an effort to attend the synagogue.
It is known as Yomim Norain, or day of awe. It is a day on which one should show humility to
God and acknowledge that whatever our intentions may be we will descend into sin. On this day
one should become particularly aware of sin, as it is a day for reflection. It is not intended to be a
negative activity, but to induce positive behavior, as it is very brave to face up to weaknesses and
mistakes . Rosh... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Often, fish is served, wit the symbolism that fish swim in shoals, and good deeds should be as
plentiful as the fish in a shoal. Nuts are never served, as letters in Hebrew have numerical value,
and the word nut has the same numerical value as the word sin. The next morning it is
customary for the whole family to go to the synagogue, which will be decorated in white. In
particular, the Parochet, which hangs in front of the ark every fabric is decked out in white, a
symbol of purity, to inspire a purer life. The rabbi will also be wearing white, to symbolize a
burial shroud, called a Kittel, reminding one of mortality. The service proceeds with normal
prayers, such as the Shinaar, the prevalent theme being that God is the King. The shofar is sounded
throughout, with three distinctive notes Tekiah, which is firm, Shebharim, which is a broken
sound, and Teruah, which is a tremor. The readings that take place are focused on motherhood,
particularly on the conception of Isaac. The last action of the festival takes place in the afternoon.
It is called Tashlich, meaning casting, casting away. Something should be symbolically cast away
into some water, casting away sin. b) Explain how Yom Kippur might affect the life of a Jew Yom
Kippur is the Day of Atonement. This is taken to mean that humans should be at one with God, but

Jekyll And Hyde Differences
There are many differences between the characters in the book Jekyll and Hyde and the movie
The League of Extraordinary Gentleman which portrays Jekyll and Hyde as the movies main
characters. When I watched the movie, I noticed three main differences those are: in the movie
they are trying to use Hyde while in the book they are trying to find and arrest him for murder,
Jekyll doesn t hide Hyde in the movie, and Jekyll doesn t try to control Hyde as much as he does
in the book then in the movie. The first differencethat I will focus on is that in the movie they are
trying to use Hyde for good and in the book, they are trying to arrest Hyde for murder. In the book
Hyde murders a man by the name of Sir Danvers Carew. A maid witnesses this

Racial And Ethnic Disparities Throughout Theu.s. Health Care
Racial and Ethnic Disparities in U.S. Health Care There continues to be racial and ethnic
disparities in the United States, and these problems need to be addressed since the rate of racial
/ethnic populations in the country are steadily rising. According to the 2001 United States
Census, racial/ethnic minority populations are growing at such a fast rate that by 2050 more
than 50% of the population will belong to a minority group (Weech Maldonado, Al Amin,
Nishimi, Salam, 2011). Race and ethnicity should not determine the levels of health care people
receive. Certain races have genetic predispositions for certain diseases and that fact cannot be
changed. However, the differences among race for things such as treatment, access to health
care, and availability of medicine should not be as great as they are. One of the most important
disparities that exists between racial/ethnic groups is access to care, specifically how access to
care is limited due to treatment not being tailored to the needs of different minorities. A key
factor affecting access to care is economic inequality. Many racial/ethnic groups are considered to
be of low socioeconomic status in the United States. When one has to worry about food and
housing, health is not considered a priority. Lack of health insurance is a huge problem that many
people face. The inequalities in income means less money can be put towards doctor s visits and
medications. Research done by Shi, LeBrun, Zhu, and Tsai (2011) shows

History Of Teeth Summary
1. In the articles Where Are All The Dentist ? and History Of Teeth by Kristin Lewis proves that
there were many problems with dentist over a long period of time. The first quote proves that
having bad dental care caused deaths. Dejed died of a bad tooth (Lewis 13). This proves that
having bad teethin history caused many deaths to people. Bad teeth caused deaths because
dentists back in time did not have the right tools to fix a tooth problem so the dentist could not fix
the problem. So they patient had to live with the bad tooth witch later then caused deaths. Another

Tupac Shakur
Tupac Shakur Turning Struggles into Success
Violent lyrics, a bad boy image, and a long criminal record are what attracted and connected
millions of young adults to the now legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. Tupac was a man of
contradictions; for example, his music degraded and also praised strong women. Tupac Shakur
rapped about problems that inner city black Americans could relate to, along with his legal and
personal drama; you could not get away from Tupac in the 1990 s. From the womb to the day
Tupac Shakur died he went through the struggles many self proclaimed gangsters these days do as
well; but using these problems he took the rap and hip hop game to another level.

Tupac s work in this movie made him a household name. A year later, he starred in John
Singleton s movie, Poetic Justice. With the success in the box office he still stood as the main
instigator in the battle between east coast and west coast communities. In 1995 Tupac signed with
Suge Knight and Death Row Records and released All Eyez on Me . Many tracks on the album
threw violent lyrics at Christopher and other east coast rappers, even claiming on the track Hit em
Up to have slept with Christopher Wallace s wife.
Tupac was on top of the Hip Hop world, he was being watched on the big screen in theatres, at
home, and you could hear him being blared in cars riding in and out of the streets of major cities
in the United States. While Tupac was loved by many, he was appalled by twice as many. Even
the Vice President, Dan Quayle, called for his first album, 2pacalyse to be banned. Quayle insisted
on this after a Texas teenager announced in court that it had inspired him to murder a state trooper
(Tupac).
Tupac always liked to resemble a tough thug life lifestyle, how could he not, that s what made
him a sellout. In the dangerous streets of California, you couldn t survive riding around in the
streets by yourself, so Tupac ran with the bloods gang, or M.O.B. (Chambers and Solotaroff).
Which stood for Member of Bloods but when it came to the business side of the spectrum, Death
Row Records, they claimed it to mean

  • 2. The Importance Of The Age Of Discovery Portugal is known for initiating the Age of Discovery. They played an important role in exploration. Many new lands were discovered, boosting trade, power, and wealth, during the Age of Discovery. Early exploration began in the late 1300s and early 1400s under Prince Henry, aka the Navigator. One key factor that led to Portugal s power was Ceuta, a major port city in north Africa, that controlled ships entering and exiting the Mediterranean Sea. King John I, Henry s father, conquered the city after being encouraged by Henry. On an early morning on August 21, 1415, King John I, along with his sons, led an army to Playa San Amaro, a beach in Ceuta. They sieged the garrison and took the Ceuta by nightfall. They went on taking four more islands off the northwest coast of Africa, in which they explored and colonized. In 1431, the Azores were discovered and colonized. In 1443, the Bay of Arguin was colonized, and later, the Portuguese constructed a fort. By 1462, the Portuguese had explored the coast of Africa as far as present day Sierra Leone These colonies produced extozic trade goods, such as wine, spices, ivory, gold, and herbs, making the Portigal not only wealthy but also powerful. In 1498, the Cape of Good Hope was discovered, but Henry never lived to see this great discovery. He died at the age of 66 in 1460. His legacy lived on. Henry s navigation and discoveries officially began the Age of Discovery, and it was not long before other European nations joined. Diogo ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. I Love Baseball Analysis love baseball. I love watching the strategies, the big plays, the colossal errors (anyone remember poor Bill Buckner?) and the dramatic finishes. The Tampa Bay Rays, who in nine of their first ten years of existence finished dead last in their division (In 2004 they managed to beat out one team and finished fourth in their division), surprised everyone in 2008 by beating out such teams as the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees and made it to the World Series only to lose to the Philadelphia Phillies. Even though they lost the World Series, they were heroes in the eyes of millions who rooted for them and their storybook season. One strategy that I particularly enjoy is the use of specialty players, of which the most prevalent is the closer . The closer is a pitcher who is brought in for just a very short period of the game (typically the last inning of a game) to shut down opponent ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Time after time many project managers will start out of the blocks full of excitement and passion about their project. Then along the way things start going wrong, whether it be unanticipated schedule or budget issues, an unforeseen risk spinning out of control, or an ugly issue rearing its head. Rather than act deliberately, many PM s will sweep the problem under the rug, start screaming fire , panic, or politically disengage themselves from the problem by blaming someone else. In any event, rather than act to address the problem the PM does nothing to help the situation and most likely does things to further exacerbate the problem. If management is attentive to the problem then a likely outcome is to replace the project manager with a closer ; a more experienced and seasoned PM who can stare down a problem and get things under control. • 7. Analysis Of Michael Billig s Theory On Banal Nationalism... The Hmong are known to have tightly knitted communities that are created through ties of kinship in a clan based society. This sense of kinship is essential as a catalyst for the Hmong in developing and producing a strong sense of nationalism despite the fact that they do not have a recognized political state or homeland. This is especially important as the Hmong population has been dispersed to all parts of the world following their involvement in a multitude of geopolitical struggles. Despite having a scattered global population, the Hmong are continuously finding ways to remain distinct and as a unified people, especially here in the United States. The Hmong create and reproduce a sense of nationalism despite facing cultural decline and having relatively separated communities built around different urban centers across the United States. Additionally, this research will discuss how the sense of nationalism can be a way for the Hmong to move forward despite facing cultural decline. In this research, these elements will be explained and explored through Michael Billig s theory on banal nationalism (Billig, 1995). Nationalism is most often seen as a sudden spark of patriotism or strong feelings of loyalty and appreciation to a nation state after some sort of triggering event. Some of the most recognizable moments in United States history that have sparked widespread nationalism in its citizens include the Sandy Hook shooting, the bombing of the World Trade center, and the ... It was very difficult to raise the needed capital as the majority of people in the east viewed the west as, remote as the moon, its terrain alien and forbidding (Klein). The pioneers of these projects knew it would take an immense amount of resources. • 12. Drinking And Driving Case Study 1.Was This Presentation Valuable? This presentation on the risks of driving while under the influence of cannabis was extremely informative while also being engaging and interesting at the same time. In my opinion, the presentation was particularly valuable because drugs have become a very prominent subject among my age group, and not everyone is knowledgeable of all the risks associated with smoking. In health, we learn about the effects of drugs and the risks of drinking alcohol and driving, however, we don t really cover the topic of smoking and driving, which leads people to think there is nothing at risk. This presentation informs us of the potentially deadly risks of driving while under the influence of cannabis that many people are unaware of. As well, the information provided not only informs people who do/might smoke in the future of what they may be putting at risk, but it also informs people of the risk who then could prevent a friend of potentially making the poor decision of smoking and driving. 2.Two Interesting Things From The Presentation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One interesting thing is that almost 50% of youth indicated no concerns about smoking and driving. I found this puzzling because as teens, our school, parents, and the media constantly tell us about the dangers of drugs and how they impair our thinking. I found it interesting to know that although most teens know the risks of smoking, they don t have concerns for increasing those risks by driving, which would put many more people at risk of an accident. Another thing I found interesting is that almost 1 in 5 youths in vehicle accidents tested positive for cannabis. This shows how prominent the issue is in our society, especially in youth, and proves that more promotion of the risks should be done, such as this type of presentation, in order to control the ... Mcdonalds Essay This paper will consider the facts associated with the case of Stella Liebeck versus McDonald s, resulting from Ms. Liebeck s efforts to collect for damages sustained when she spilled extremely hot coffee into her lap in 1992. The issues, applicable laws and the conclusion the jury reached will also be covered as well as the subsequent impacts on American tort law following this decision. The facts in the Liebeck case start with the incident description as recounted by Aric Press in the March 20, 1995 issue of Newsweek. Ms. Liebeck was a recently retired, 79 year old woman who ordered coffee at a McDonald s drive through and received it in a lidded, styrofoam cup (Press, 1995, p. 32). The jury decided that the plaintiff was entitled to both compensatory damages of $200,000, reduced by $40,000 for her own negligence, and punitive damages totaling $2.7 million (Gerlin, 1994, p.1). Gerlin (1994) goes on to state that the jury found that McDonald s had engaged in willful, reckless or malicious conduct and subsequently used that for the basis of their punitive damages (p. 2). The number settled on was equivalent roughly to two days worth of coffee sales companywide (Gerlin, 1994, p.2). The jury concluded that McDonald s behaved callously and punished them accordingly (Coffin, 2004, p.4). The jury decided the warning on the cup was insufficient for the hazard (Press, 1995, p.33). The jury applied the law correctly since it was determined that McDonald s was acting outside the parameters of peers, had been previously warned of and settled cases associated with scald burns, and did not properly or clearly notify patrons of the level of severity of the inherent danger. The standard of proof for success exists such that the plaintiff must prove that the defendant knew or should have known that, without a warning, the product would be dangerous in its ordinary use... • 14. Pacifism And Anabaptism In The 16th Century Europe Introduction Life in 16th century Europe was short, difficult and tumultuous. One hundred years after Luther started the Protestant Reformation by nailing his 95 thesis to the door of the Wittenberg church, religious and state relationships were ever shifting and evolving. Traditions and beliefs were being threatened by new discoveries and schools of thought while those with contradicting beliefs were singled out for persecution. Food and shelter were not guaranteed, especially for the poor, and disease and war were an ever looming dark cloud of death and destruction. The members of the newly developing religious group called Anabaptism were often the main target of persecution and were faced with the options of migrating, recanting and most harshly, execution. They had many reasons and opportunities to resist and revolt using violent measures, as was customary at the time, but instead they held fast in their pacifistic beliefs, rejecting any and all violence. The 16th century Anabaptists demonstrated their dedication to pacifismeven when challenged with scripture that opposed their beliefs, persecution and war. Definition of Pacifism Anabaptists were often described as pacifists due to their rejection of the sword and opposition to violence. However, it is important to note that pacifism is a moderately new term, coined in the 20th century and that their beliefs are perhaps better explained using the terms absolute pacifism and nonresistance, or Gewaltlosigkeit in German. Pacifism is [t]he belief that war and violence are unjustifiable and that all disputes should be settled by peaceful means. It can be seen as an active stance against violence, specifically war, to settle disputes, whereas non resistance implies a passive stance, avoiding involvement in any form of violence or event that could lead to violence. Pacifism can be religious or non religious, political or not, and is anchored largely in a basic belief in the goodness and perfectibility of man and the reformability of the general human society on rational grounds. On the other hand, nonresistance is seen as an outward manifestation of the peace of God within the soul, and is the peace of God applied to our relation with our fellow man. ... The theories help explain different perspectives on how the world system functions; as the political scientist, Stephen Walt explains, No single approach can capture all the complexity of contemporary world politics. Therefore we are better off with a diverse array of competing ideas rather than a single theoretical orthodoxy. Competition between theories helps reveal their strengths and weaknesses and spurs subsequent refinements, while revealing flaws in conventional wisdom (Mingst 6). Realism focuses on the idea that each state bases its policies off of the interpretation that it s national interest is defined in terms of power (Mingst 6). Realists believe that because the international system is anarchic, which means that there is no authoritative hierarchy, it leads to a self help system in the states, where each state has to fend for, and support itself. Since states under the realist theory must rely on themselves for their own security, they can often be seen as selfish, fearful and power seeking. Realists believe that in this system, states ... • 18. Correlation Between The Locations Of Known Gang Members... Research Question Is there a spatial relationship between the locations of known gang members and drug violations? Analysis It is expected, based on social disorganization theory, that census tracts with high concentrations of gang members will also be high in disorganization. As seen in figure 1 this will be established by creating a contour line hot spot of gang member locations and drug violations overlaid on a map showing social disorganization. Social disorganization will be based on low education levels and high unemployment rates, which are generally accepted measurements of disorganized neighborhoods (see Gottfredson, Mcneil Gottfredson, 1991; Teasdale, Clark Hinkle, 2012). However, we know that gangs do form in areas that are already high in crime and according to one study they may not further increase crime in those areas but they do lead to a clustering of drug offenses (Tita Ridgeway, 2007). Therefore, a cluster and outlier analysis (Anselin Local Morans I) was conducted to determine if there is significant clustering in gang related areas. Seen in figure 3, drug violations are clustered in the areas around known gang member locations. Based on journey to crime and routine activities a central feature analysis was done to further explore if gang member locations are associated with drug violation locations. Euclidean distance was utilized for this analysis as gang members do not travel large distances and therefore are most likely on foot and not restricted to roadways. Central feature was selected over mean center as gang members are more likely to work out of their homes than any other offenders (Eck Gersh, 2000) so it was likely the central offense would be very close or near the home of a known gang member. When broken down by year the central features were stacked on top of each other with only the slightest variation as can be seen in figure 4. Finally, a buffer will be placed around gang member locations to determine which drug violations are likely related to their gang (figure 5). The buffer was set at 250ft as drug dealers generally have a limited journey to crime. Approximately 25% ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It was founded by two hikers as a small mountaineering retail shop, but has since taken off to become a world renowned chain with high quality outdoor clothing and gear. The quality and variety of the brandhas encouraged the extreme sport goers to continue to shop and spread the word of its reliability. This is important for a lot of the consumers because the Earth is nothing to mess with. They need reliable outerwear to keep them warm if they are climbing Mount Everest or even if they are just skiing down some easy bunny slopes in Colorado. All it takes is a glance at someone s jacket for a new customer to discover the iconic brand. The North Face logo is brilliant in the fact that it is simple yet unmistakable. At first glance, one might consider The North Face logo is too simple, but in reality that is the beauty of it. This simple logo design helps a viewer stray away from any unintended conclusions by random bystanders. It is evident the designer of this logo used many of Gestalt s laws when constructing the logo. • 21. Antigone By Sophocles Antigone In Sophocles, Antigone begins with the stages of grief as Antigone mourns the loss of her two brothers, Polyneikes and Eteokles, who die simultaneously in face to face combat in Thebes. Eteokles dies with honor fighting for the Thebesians and is honored with rituals and a proper burial. The body of Polyneikes, who attempted to burn the city of Thebes, is left for the dogs and birds to savage. Thesbesian s law forbids anyone giving a traitor, like Polyneikes, a proper burial, for that itself is a crime punishable by death. Antigone is angered that Polyneikes is not going to receive a proper burial and is determined that she must honor him even if it means the end of her life. Antigone alone attempts to bury her brother, but is captured and imprisoned, at which point she decides to form a noose around her neck and end her life. Sophoclesleaves the reader to question whether Antigone s suicide is an act of heroism, a stand for the citizens of Thebes, or a selfish way of coping with personal trauma. Antigone sought assistance in burying her brother from her only family member alive, her sister, Ismene, who tries to reason with her. Ismene proclaims, Remember, we re women. How can we fight men? They re stronger (Sophocles 749). The physical statures of neither Polyneikes nor Antigone were not ever mentioned, but in general men typically weigh more and have a larger build than women. Lawrence, an English novelist and literary critic, penned his essay On the Scarlet Letter as a critique of the novel The Scarlet Letter written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Lawrence argued that Hester Prynne, the novel s protagonist, is not a victim, but rather is a sinful, corrupted character acting in her own self interest. Lawrence was effective in portraying his analysis of Prynne by his use of harsh diction, biblical allusions, and choppy syntax. The harsh diction utilized by Lawrence in his essay achieves his purpose. He emphasized irony through these contrasts, because of the ways in which society has portrayed both Prynne and Magdalene from their independent actions. Lawrence writes and instructs to take Prynne and put her on the scaffold and worship her there (Lawrence). This opposes Prynne s sinful shame on the scaffold to the pure worship of the Virgin Mary. His purpose in satirizing the two is achieved, as he creates a mockery of Prynne s misconduct. Similar to Magdalene, Lawrence argued that Hawthorne s portrayal of Hester as a victim is inherently flawed, and her scheming nature insists that her able nature be further questioned. With this in mind, Lawrence compared Prynne to the biblical character of Abel (Lawrence). In the book of Genesis, the Holy Bible explains that Cain murders his twin brother Abel out of a fit of jealousy. Since Prynne takes on the role of Abel in his critical essay, Lawrence s tone deemed the symbol of Cain to be the root cause of Prynne s sin. Like Abel, Prynne is viewed by society as a victim, as thus has a reputation forever defined by these labels. This is seen most in The Scarlet Letter as Prynne never completely escapes her identity as a sinful woman. Although Prynne lives on in the conclusion of the novel while Dimmesdale died, her actions lead her in a permanent state of separation from God. A central theme in Glaspell s play is gender obedience, displayed seemingly by Mrs. Wright. Because the focus of Mrs. Wright s life, as a wife, revolved around maintaining fruit preserves, we can conclude that her primary concern for the state of the jar of preserves was more significant that the mere thought of frozen fruit. • 46. Racial And Ethnic Disparities Throughout Theu.s. Health Care Racial and Ethnic Disparities in U.S. Health Care There continues to be racial and ethnic disparities in the United States, and these problems need to be addressed since the rate of racial /ethnic populations in the country are steadily rising. According to the 2001 United States Census, racial/ethnic minority populations are growing at such a fast rate that by 2050 more than 50% of the population will belong to a minority group (Weech Maldonado, Al Amin, Nishimi, Salam, 2011). Race and ethnicity should not determine the levels of health care people receive. Certain races have genetic predispositions for certain diseases and that fact cannot be changed. However, the differences among race for things such as treatment, access to health care, and availability of medicine should not be as great as they are. One of the most important disparities that exists between racial/ethnic groups is access to care, specifically how access to care is limited due to treatment not being tailored to the needs of different minorities. A key factor affecting access to care is economic inequality. Many racial/ethnic groups are considered to be of low socioeconomic status in the United States. When one has to worry about food and housing, health is not considered a priority. Lack of health insurance is a huge problem that many people face. The inequalities in income means less money can be put towards doctor s visits and medications. Research done by Shi, LeBrun, Zhu, and Tsai (2011) shows ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
