THE JUDICIARY It is given the power to interpret laws thus it has the following
checks over the executive; once the judges are appointed for ;life they are free from
the control of the executive branch and determines whether the law is
unconstitutional or not. Checks over the legislative branch, courts can judge

executing policies, it implies assisting or serving others. All civil servants are

Also according to McLean (2009:440) PAD denotes the institutions of public
bureaucracy within a state this is the organisational structures which form the basis of

Most Interesting Plot Imagine a story with lots of action, well developed plot

Both climaxes deliver anxiety to the reader through intense, exciting action. First,
the climax of Most Dangerous Game surprises the reader. A man, who had been
hiding in the curtains of the bed, was standing there. Rainsford! screamed the
general. How in God s name did you get here? Swam, said Rainsford. I found it
quicker than walking through the jungle (Connell 52). This climax is very
exciting and unexpected because the reader assumes Rainsford s fate when he
jumps off the cliff into the ocean. Now Rainsford confronts his hunter providing a
climax that leaves the reader with anxiety, prodding him or her to read on.
Contents Of A Dead Man s Pocket also leaves the reader with unease at the climax.
As Tom reaches for the paper on the dangerous ledge, the reader reaches with him.
He couldn t quite touch it, and his knees now were pressed against the wall; he
could bend them no farther (Finney 30). Uncertainty fills the reader s mind in a
similar way to Most Dangerous Game . In contrast Finney s climax comes earlier in
the story, which gives more time for the resolution of the story. These stories both
have breath taking climaxes, written to produce anxiety in the reader, nudging them
to read on. Finally, the resolution of the stories shows the main difference between
the two. Connell provides a dry resolution, giving few clues to the reader about the
fate of Zaroff. After Zaroff loses the game, Rainsford confronts Zaroff, and

Despite winning the heart of Desdemona he didn t want to stop, settle down and
retire from his previous exploits. Instead he decided to answer the call, continue to

Composting
College students should be given information on composting in order for them to
know the positive effects. When students get to college, they are no longer under
parental super vision. They do not have an authority figure telling them how to sort
their trash. Students are able to think for themselves and make their own decisions.
College is the perfect situation for students to change the way they thing about
throwing away their trash. Students may not have thought about compostingas an
option because they were never given the resources to partake in composting. If
student know how to compost and are given the resources, then there are
opportunities students will jump up to take. As a college student myself, I am able

Western Civilization
Through out the history of Western Civilization we have seen many important
moments occur. From the Neolithic revolution, to humans conquering and spreading
across the globe, there are many moments that have shaped its history and the present
day. In this essay I will mention 5 of the most important moments/changes in Western
Civilization and the reasons for why they are so important to societies in the western

My first mention is the Neolithic Revolution. Prior to the Neolithic Revolution,
humans lived in an age called the Paleolithic Age. In this time, humans were
nomadic hunter and gatherers. They did not make permeant settlements and lived

the end of the last ice age around 10,000 B.C. when humans changed from hunter
and gatherer nomads to learning how to grow their own crops and settling down

humans moving forward. Humans could now participate in trade with others and
instead of being on the go all the time, they now had a chance to settle down and

The Reflection Of The Relationship Between Teachers And...
During the process of creating research questions I decided that I wanted to ask about
the relationship between teachers and students and how it helps or hurts the students.
I choose this question because I have great relationships with my teachers in and out
of school and thought that was something I could easily write about. However I

revolution, a prosperous time for factory and mill owners, yet the working class lived
in substandard conditions. England being ruled by George IV, Britain s Most Useless
Monarch , a man who was known for his frivolous, dissolute lifestyle. With increasing
social inequality and an unsupportive government, there was civil unrest in the nation.
David Watkin, in his Book Morality and Architecture (1977), maintains that some
architecture is being formed from the social, moral, and philosophical beliefs of a
period. For Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin, he saw Regency and Georgian
architecture as an abomination. This was a period of great civil unrest and
inequality. The French Revolution had occurred not long ago (1789 1799) and with a
government that represented corruption and disparity, this seemed like a reasonable
step forward. In Pugin s first book, Contrasts (1836) he argues that the state of the
society and its immorality was reflected in the architectural style adopted. The book
states that compared to Georgian architecture, Medieval Gothic architecture is morally
superior. This is perhaps the first time that an architect has claimed a style of
architecture is more moral than another. The stucco fronted facades of the buildings
and the decorative columns were dishonest to Pugin and therefore immoral in the
eyes of God.

world where her schoolmates and her are clones that are made for donating organs

years of their life in Hailsham. They learn everything they need to know like

(Scheck Neufeld, 2001). Hence, there has been increasing research by psychologists
in eyewitness memory and particularly in line up practices. In criminal identification,
a simultaneous line up (SIM) is typically used and involves presenting the witness
with all line up suspects at once with the offender (target) placed amongst other
innocent suspects (foils) that resemble the offender (Wells Olsen, 2003). With these
conditions, witnesses have a tendency to compare suspects with each other in order to
determine the one that have the closest resemblance with the offender, a process
called relative judgement (Steblay, Dysart, Fulero Lindsay, 2001). In the
simultaneous line ups with target present, there are more hits as the closest
resemblance is the perpetrator but while in target absent conditions, the closest
matching foil is often picked and resulting in more false alarms (Steblay, Dysart,
