Photography Is A Moment, An Instant
Photography is like a moment, an instant. You need a half second to get the photo. So it s good to
capture people when they are themselves. This is a quote from Patrick Demarchelier, who is a french
fashion photographer. Photography captures a moment that won t happen again, so you have to make
sure you re prepared. There s a lot of aspects that come in when capturing a photograph, the most
important being aperture size, shutter speed, and the ISO.
One of the most important aspects of taking a good photo is aperture. Aperture is the hole that light
travels through in the camera. An easy way to understand aperture is to compare the parts of a camera
to the human eye. The aperture is like the pupil; how much light that enters the retina (camera sensor)
depends on the size of the pupil. Typically, larger aperture size equals more light, just like a larger
pupil means there s more light. So, the easiest way to remember aperture, is by associating it with your
pupil. Large pupil size equals large aperture, while small pupil size equals small aperture .
Our cornea is like the front element in lens; it gathers all the external light, then bends it and passes it
to the iris. Another important part of the camera that affects the aperture is the diaphragm. The
diaphragm is the iris of the lens that is in control of the aperture size. The diaphragm s purpose is to
block out all light that doesn t go to the top.
Aperture are expressed in f numbers, or f stops. They are a way

The Financial Audit Of The World s Financial Audits
The majority of the world s financial audits are dominated by four major audit firms, which are known
as the Big 4 (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst Young, KPMG, and Deloitte). Prior studies suggest that
these firms, on average, provide higher quality audit services and also exhibit a fee premium in
comparison with their non Big 4 audit firms; however, it is questionable that whether all these Big 4
audit firms are the same and that whether there are differences in audit quality within the Big 4.
In term of total audit fee dollars, PwC maintains its leadership position among the Big 4 (Appendix A,
table 1), followed by Deloitte, Ernst Young and KPMG. In 2014, PwC generated $15 billion from its
audit service 44% more than those earned by KPMG. PwC also ranked as the most prestigious
accounting firm (Appendix A, table 2) in 2015 according to the Vault s annual Accounting Survey as
reported in table 2, followed by Ernst Young, Deloitte and KPMG. Following qualitative responses are
also taken during the Vault s survey to describe their perception of firms other than their own: Most
prestigious of the Big 4 Very aggressive firm but over promises in the marketplace Doesn t seem to
care about audit anymore Overworking employees beyond every other firm Not a good work/life
balance Big 3 s kid brother Least prestigious of the Big 4 . These responses indicate potential
variations within the Big 4 firms based on the outside perception of a firm.

Great Recession And The Great Depression
GREAT ECONOMIC TIMES IN AMERICA
The Great Recession and the Great Depression are the fallout of the exact same economic problems
and are only different in a few respects. Each period is marked by a massive run ups in asset prices
followed by a crash in the stock market and sent both debt and equity markets down. These periods
are said to be the worse economic downturn in the country s history. During the great depression, as
banks failed and threatened to shut down the financial system altogether, President Franklin Roosevelt
moved quickly and effectively to address the most dangerous financial crisis of the Great depression.
The massive stock market collapse that began in October 1929 erased massive amounts of wealth and
because many banks had invested heavily in the markets, and had lent recklessly to speculative
investors, the banks found themselves without sufficient capital and in many cases without reserves.
He created the New Deal which responded to an unemployment rate that had reached 25 percent, and
in some cities as much as 75 percent. He signed the Emergency Banking Act, which allowed
inspectors to evaluate troubled banks and decide whether or not they could reopen. The Glass Steagall
Act created a barrier between commercial and investment banking and established the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation, which guaranteed that citizens would not lose their bank deposits even if a
bank failed.
Hooverville was a name created after President Hoover, emphasizing

The City Of The Nairobi Airport
The Dreamliner descended through the inky black night into Nairobi. The darkness was broken by the
lights of the city and airfield. Touching down around 9:30 local time, I climbed wearily down the
stairs and saw my first sight of Africa, the Nairobi airport. It didn t look especially impressive and I
only wanted to sleep because my body ached in a way that only eight hours in an airplane can do. My
family was taken to customs; two hours later, we emerged, glad that we had hurdled our first obstacle.
After, finding our driver, we had a 45 minute tour on the way to our tent camp. Seeing Africa at
around midnight seemed to reinforce some stereotypes and dispel others. Nairobi looked fairly
modernized, I saw billboards for cell phones above ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition, the malls, large houses and other businesses all had security guards. They could be picked
out at a distance from their navy blue blazers that they wore. In the proportion to the police, there
seemed to be far greater numbers of security guards. Two days later, we drove for six hours into
Tanzania. The scenery we passes could have come from any Western. The hills were covered in scrub
bush and trees were rare. African cattle herds grazed in the hills. The distance was broken by towns
that were few and far between. Along the road lay the businesses. Many of the shops had
advertisements on them; here, Coke was easily beating Pepsi. Along with numerous Coke
advertisements were ones for local cell phone carriers. Martian red was the predominant colour of the
brick businesses and between the shops and road lay a three foot deep, uncovered, slabbed storm ditch
that looked like it could eat our safari truck. At the border station, we showed our passports in the hot
and dusty room and then resumed our trip. Our guide pointed out Mount Kilimanjaro, partially hidden
by low wispy clouds that shrouded the its snow topped peak. The road wound between high hills as
we traversed part of the Rift Valley. Upon entering Arusha, we saw a bustling city with apartments,
green parks and other appointments of a large city. Once past the city center, we turned down a
potholed road to our lodge for the night. I was kept up by the sound of monkeys on the roof and

Wichita Kansas Presidential Breakdown And Election Analysis
Wichita Kansas Presidential Breakdown Election Analysis
Who did Wichita vote for?
Wichita, Kansas is situated in Sedgwick County. The result was a 56.1% vote for Donald Trump,
while Hillary Clinton received 36.9% of the vote. Gary Johnson received 4.9% and Jill Stein received
2.1%. Similarly, the overall Kansas state vote was as follows: 57.2% (Trump), 36.1% (Clinton), 4.7%
(Johnson), and 2% (Stein). This is from both Politico and Wichita newspapers. The significance of an
overwhelming vote for Trump reflects the correlation to economic divides, as voters may feel attached
to the ideals of a better economy.
Economic Divide:
The city of Wichita is one of the poorest and most distressed [...] with 42 percent of people below the
poverty line, so one can make some assumptions on how these Americans feel. Some of the issues the
city faces includes unemployment, neighborhood segregation, business changes, poverty rates, and
lack of high school education (Voorhis: http://www.kansas.com/news/business/article62470722.html).
Wealthier neighborhoods tend to be outside the city limits of Wichita, while poorer neighborhoods
make up most of the city s neighborhoods. The implications are that Areas, like Wichita, where the
industrial economy has traditionally held firmest have really suffered [...] These trends predate the
Great Recession, but the recovery has continued to accelerate the fortunes of the most prosperous
areas and the downturn of the most distressed (Voorhis). In effect,

The Technology Implementation Plan
Technology Implementation
Introduction
When deploying new products into an organization that contain elements you do no have experience
with, like new technology, considered the human factors in the implementation process to reduce
issues that may arise. When implementing new technology within a company, make sure that end
users contribute into the design process and that the end user will benefit from the change. Managers
should communicate constantly and effectively, involve employees, and leadership to endorse the
technology and the change process.

Unexpected changes may be disruptive, and leadership may encounter resistance. To manage
technology changes the first step is to understand technology dynamics, and resistance it generates.
According to Regan and O Conner (2002), managing organizational changes requires understanding
the variables and their interdependencies; creating a climate for learning; recognizing new power
distributions and handling complexity, ambiguity, and uncertainty. Of course, technology changes take
a toll on the employee s morale and managerial time and emotion. Sometimes plans are abandoned
because of strong employee resistance or because the managers feel unprepared or unable to
implement the changes successfully. (Chapter 11.2.2 Technology Brings Change).
e. Communication plans
First in order for the goals and objectives of the communications plans to succeed, It is very important
that staff involved in this plan are aware of the leaderships support and direction. In addition, leader s
needed to speak positively about the project, and the process changes involved the staff should expect.
Management needs to speak honestly and listen to all levels of the organization. Secondly, if the
organization and its leadership did not adhere to changes proposed by staff involved, resistance is
likely to occur. However, if staff involved were consulted, participant s acceptance is more likely.
Finally, it is important to

The Treatment Of Young Offenders
In past years the treatment of young offenders has evolved in favour of minors, as rehabilitation has
become a major aspect in the heeling and learning process for youths. The Youth Criminal Justice Act
has been created for young offenders aged twelve to seventeen. This Act was made in order to allow
offenders mentoring and rehabilitation, in order to prevent further criminal actions that may occur.
This enforces the idea that mentoring offenders is indeed a motivating factor; in which aids the young
offenders effectively in a positive manner. This is beneficial to any youth offender, as they have not
developed fully mentally and or physically, this is the deciding factor in regards to why they have
more leniency than an adult committing a criminal action. In addition to the lack of full development;
young offenders are more prone to act on their behalf due to the fact they may have come from a
disjointed family, they may have been raised in a bad neighbourhood, as well as being abused within
their household. Young offenders should receive a second chance to learn and grow on the behalf of
their actions, therefore rehabilitation is necessary in this process. The right approach in regards to
criminal acts committed by young offenders; is that they need to be given an opportunity to learn from
their mistakes in order to prevent future re offences. The Youth Criminal Justice Act outlines the
various laws with respect to offending minors; these acts are put in place within

The Future Of The Current Healthcare Industry Trends
Current Healthcare Industry Trends
The future of US healthcare is one of the most constant question the country faces. The healthcare
industry is a formation and culmination of clinicians and non clinicians both, that provide diagnostic,
preventive, remedial, and therapeutic services. As there is an increase in longevity amongst
Americans, there is also an insistence for not only additional, but also improved preventive and long
term care. There are current trends in the healthcare sector that are emerging to meet the demands
previously mentioned, such as: continuous opportunities for employment, patients are becoming more

treatment options for one s own health, can be burdensome, especially since medicine can become

more providers are resisting changing antiquated techniques. With the advancement of technology,
patients are now becoming enlightened on how to maintain their own health. According to The Wall

Background on Florence Nightingale
Background
Florence Nightingale was born on May 12, 1820, named after her birthplace, Florence, Italy. Florence
s mother Frances Nightingale was from a family of merchants and enjoyed socializing with people of
prominent social standing. Florence was the exact opposite; she avoided anything where she was the
center of attention. Florence s father William Shore Nightingale was a wealthy landowner. Her father
was able to provide Florence with the best education. Florence Nightingale was always trying to help
anyone around her, even from a young age. She ministered to the ill and poor people. At 16, she
decided to pursue the career of nursing, trying to help as many people as possible. Her parents were

The hospital was on top of a large waste container, which contaminated the water and the building
itself. Soldiers lay in their own body fluids on stretchers throughout the hallways as pests ran about.
Supplies dwindled due to the increase in patients, even water was being rationed.
Florence set to work quickly. Her team and the wounded that were mobile, scrubbed the entire
hospital. Florence spent a great deal of her time caring for the soldiers. She quickly gained the nick
name the lady with the lamp and the angel of Crimea because she walked the halls at night with a
lamp, while caring for the soldiers. The death rate dropped by two thirds because she improved the
sanitary conditions of the hospital. In addition to improving sanitary conditions, she also created a
number of different patient services to improve the quality of their hospital stay including, meal
services, laundry, and classroom services. Florence stayed in Crimea for a year and a half. She left
once the war had ended. When she left in 1856, she was welcomed back with a hero s welcome. She
was rewarded by the Queen with an engraved brooch, which later came to be known as Nightingale
Jewel, and also receiving $250,000 from the British government. Florence used the money to open the
St. Thomas Hospital, and the Nightingale Training School for Nurses. Nightingale gave the nursing
profession a boost in the popularity; it no longer was a lower class job.

Explain The Growth Of Suburbs In The 50 s
The growth of suburbs in the 50 s
The early Suburbs of London, and in addition a few in the United States, were constructed around the
partition of diverse monetary classes. Amid the eighteenth century, rich entrepreneurs in London
started to utilize landholdings around Westminster as an approach to evade the lower classes inside
urban zones. After a century, the same happened in the United States around the urban areas of New
York, Philadelphia, and Boston. Rural areas, for example, these, in view of class detachment, can best
be portrayed as common enclaves. Here the rich could build up groups that mirrored their own
particular qualities and convictions. After World War II finished, numerous Americans were avid to

Somewhere around 1945 and 1960, the gross national item dramatically multiplied, developing from

The development of interstate expressways and schools, the circulation of veterans advantages and
above all the increment in military spending on merchandise like planes and new advances like PCs

Since online and retail items require late production much of the wholesale business is pushed first
through production. This allows for their wholesale to fulfill their orders, but not always the retail
stores. To make matters worst, sometimes during the holidays their supplier would not be able to
produce their containers needed for their production, which would also throw back production.
Production planning becomes even more complicated because of the influence of the out of stocks,
which would cause the sales graphs to be heavily distorted. The graphs would be distorted if items
were out of stock for a month and the backorders were filled in a short period of time. Whenever there
were overstock issues, retail stores would push the items through discounts. Often when there were
out of stock issues for the wholesalers the company would take the supplies from their retail stores and
divert it to the wholesaler s order. Lastly, when special orders were placed for wholesale, it was not
uncommon for the production plans to be put on hold to focus on special orders. As a result from all
the production errors, the sales graph would have unnatural spikes, yet these spikes would be included
for planning production for the following year.
Demand forecasting is a large problem for Rogers Chocolates because if items were out of stock for a
month and back orders were filled in a short time, the sales graph

Sternberg s Triangular Theory Of Commuality And...
Commitment has proven to be an integral component within most lasting relationships. Many scholars
have worked to uncover the reasoning behind what leads to increased commitment and relationship
longevity. Of course, with each romantic relationship, the reasons for why an individual or a couple
remains together can vary, leading to a wide variety of theories to be established to explain the
components of commitment. Theories include a focus on the investment theory of commitment,
perceived relationship satisfaction, relationship alternatives, and the rewards and costs of a
relationship in correlation to motivators behind commitment. The primary goal of this paper is to
examine the complexities of commitment in relation to the aforementioned theories for promoting
relationship longevity.
In order to best understand the role of commitment within already established romantic relationships,
it s necessary to look at the various theories concerning topics of commitment. First and foremost, the
work of Lemieux and Hale analyze Sternberg s Triangular Theory of Love, which serves as a strong
foundation for understanding the role of commitment within a romantic relationship. The
aforementioned theory states that love is composed of three parts: intimacy, passion, and commitment.
According to the studies pertaining to this theory, each of the three components change in prevalence
throughout the course of a relationship.

Abstract
Adolescent Black males throughout the years have been subject and victim to numerous economic,
socioeconomic, and environmental disadvantages. In many inner city neighborhoods, these
disadvantages have led to an increase in violence among these adolescent African American males,
especially in the educational system. Violence among African American males in schools is something
that increases tremendously each year; a 2010 study in Education Week showed that over 70% of the

For example, in Orange Country Florida, where black students only make up 27% of the public school
s population, black students represent over 50% of the students getting suspended (Lynch, 2016). This
can be the effect of discrimination in the school system as young black males are already viewed as
trouble makers. This alone can also create violence in black males because they recognize the unfair
treatment which leads to resentment and anger. This soon manifests into even bigger problems within
the self. Exposure to aggressive experiences, in school and outside school, can profoundly affect
mental health, including adjustment at school, (Basch, 2011). Also found in this article, a recent study
showed more than 42,000 11 17 year old s that were affected by school violence were associated with
having experienced internalizing behaviors such as depression, anxiety, sadness and more. Depression,
anxiety, sadness are all ways for a child to cause aggression behavior because that s the only way they
know to express themselves. This all stems back to the environment in which these young African
American males are subjected to (Farrell et al, 2010) as well as their place in society and how they are
viewed. If all they see and experience is negativity in their communities, homes and schools, it is what

Comparing Ilúvatar In The Silmarillion And Lord Of The Rings
In Tolkien s book The Silmarillion, the themes of Ilúvatar are reminiscent throughout the Lord of the
Rings trilogy. Those who go against the themes of Ilúvatar are much like someone who might have an
instrument that is off tune in an orchestra; at first the one instruments sound may stand out, but
overtime it would be overwhelmed and drowned out by the rest of the orchestra. Those who create
discord in Ilúvatar s themes are given opportunity to return to good before they become separated

the forces of good. This is evident in both Melkor s and Saruman s stories. Evil characters in the

Outliers Malcolm Gladwell Analysis
Malcolm Gladwell, the author of Outliers, a novel depicting success, provides different examples of
how an individual can achieve success in every chapter of his book to show his audience that success,
despite a variety of barriers, is in fact in our control. A very important chapter titled, Marita s Bargain ,
explains the flaws in today s public school systems. He shows the problems with the solutions to fix
them while showing the alternatives to the regular system such as the KIPP Program in New York. The
KIPP Program (Knowledge is Power Program) is a new kind of middle school that selects students
from less fortunate locations and uses unique teaching strategies to turn them around into fantastic
learners. In the chapter, Gladwell is extremely descriptive by using visual words to paint the picture of
the South Bronx in New York City. He describes the buildings that were built in the 1960 s as squat
and bleak looking. Gladwell had an interest in this subject as it involves success, however he had no
prior experiences to produce the piece. Gladwell establishes personal credibility through the use of
knowledge, reason, and facts and figures. He comes across very knowledgeable on the subject
presenting great data with excellent vocabulary. He is able to do this with no obvious bias as well.
Gladwell shows authority because he is well known for writing novels that involve success. His
intention is to teach and explain how schools need to change the length of vacation breaks

Comparing The Romans And The Han Dynasty Chinese
Both the Romans and the Han Dynasty Chinese had a lot in common even though they lived
thousands of miles apart, but had many differences as well. Both civilizations lasted hundreds of years
and accumulated each a population of more than fifty to sixty million inhabitants. While the two
developed around the same time frame they spoke different languages, had different governments, and
different ways of living. Their main way of food was agriculture. Both great civilizations had
perfected the ways of trade and had built numerus roads to do so. Trade was their major source of
money and exotic products such as cotton and spices. Additionally, both of them concentrated on
territory expansion. While both these civilizations had many similarities in their economic structure
they had a few differences as well. For the Roman Empire agriculture was its primary source of their
food and wealth. The grew grains, olives, and grapes. Furthermore, out of those crops they made olive
oil and wine since that was one of their most important commodities. Most of the grain, grape, and
olive products they made were then later traded or sold to other people. On the other hand, the Roman
s had a fairly negative approach to trading, considerably in the higher classes. Since having a surplus
of crops and land was a status of wealth while manufacturing and commerce were seen as a lesser
occupation. The rich landlords had many slaves to work in their fields to harvest their crops.

From the mid fifteenth to the late sixteenth century, Japan was in a period of warring states. Oda

all two thousand more (Theodore de Bary 448). Despite his violet nature, Nobunaga was also
economically conscious. During his campaign, he abolished toll barriers as they hindered commerce
and encouraged free markets (Butler 312). After his assassination, Toyotomi Hideyoshi picked up the
torch and continued to unite country. He created an early version of the class system separating the
farmers from the warriors, and it was enforced through a sword hunt. Farmers were prevented from
owning weapons such as swords and guns. The sword hunt also served as a method to reduce villager
rebellions and to freeze movement between social classes (Butler 313). After Hideyoshi s death, there

non causal relations was published in 1952, when he was already over 70 years old. Jung called it an
attempt to represent together all that I can say on this subject. This work is complex, with a lot of
fiddling work that has been read as lectures a year earlier under the title On synchronicity. The great
psychiatrist introduced the concept of synchronicity in 1930, in a speech commemorating his friend
Richard Wilhelm. However, the first draft of the concept of synchronicity was introduced in 1949 in
the introduction to the Book of Changes (I Ching), translated by William. Jung rarely mentioned the
ted synchronicity throughout his works. Synchronicity is a descriptive term for the relations between
the two events related to a common value. To illustrate this concept, Jung described an event that
happened to his patient who always knew everything better than others, making it difficult to advance
therapy. A young woman I was treating had, at a critical moment, a dream in which she was given a
golden scarab. While she was telling me this dream, I sat with my back to the closed window.
Suddenly I heard a noise behind me, like a gentle tapping. I turned round and saw a flying insect
knocking against the window pane from the outside. I opened the window and caught the creature in
the air as it flew in. It was the nearest analogy to a golden scarab one finds in

Personal Opinion Regarding Education and High Taxes
I was in fourth grade, and we used paper and pencil. Then we switched to the flip program. I liked it
but now we have to raise taxes to keep it. We don t even need it! I Think we should get rid of flip,
because if we kept flip we would have to raise the taxes, kids need to learn how to research with a
book when they need it, they need to get used to using pencil and paper more than typing, and it will
increase the chances of cyber bullying. Taxes these days are high enough, and raising the taxes even
more will not help at all. The more the taxes we have to pay the slower the economy moves and the
higher unemployment. Besides, our tax system grows too progressively already! If we raise the taxes
even more it COULD cause fights over taxes being too high.Think about the people who barely have
enough money to pay for their taxes already. Us raising it would make it worse. It could even effect
you! A democracy is three wolves and one sheep voting on what s for dinner. Neil Boor.
Think, you re on a computer and you are researching piranhas. It says piranhas can grow as big as a
small car! Then you go tell a parent or friend who has had piranhas before. They say that s wrong and
what you used is not trustworthy (true story). You see websites might not be trustworthy or have what
you are looking for, but on the other hand books are almost always right (unless outdated). So I should

The Current Punishments For A Student Cheating
It is a melancholy object to those who walk through this great school or travel in the county, when
they see the classes, desks, and lab tables crowded with students, surrounded by three, four, or six
cheet sheets, all in tatters and importuning every finished student for an answer. These pupils, instead
of being able to work for their honest grade, are forced to employ all their time taking photos of the
work of ireful classmates, who, when the next long math worksheet arises, either turn to cheating for
want of sleep, or leave their dear homework in their backpacks to waste time on Narcos on Netflix, or
contrive a stomach ache for desire to abandon education completely upon the due date.

The longer my proposal is in effect, the more independent and honest we will become, thus creating a
more civil society. Who doesn t want a more civilized society where we don t steal one of the most
valuable things mankind has, knowledge. Some administrators of a desponding spirit are in great
concern about the vast number of students who are counterfeiting homework, gazing upon the
scantrons of others, or applying cellular telephones for acts of in class deviance, and I have been
desired to employ my thoughts what course may be taken to ease the school of so grievous an
encumbrance. I think the advantages by the proposal which I have made are obvious and many, as
well as of the highest importance. For first, as I have already observed, it would greatly lessen the
number of plagiarists, with whom we are overrun around exam week, being the majority of test takers

night prior on purpose to finally finish re watching Breaking Bad, hoping to take their advantage by
the absence of so many observant proctors, who have chosen rather to finally alot time to putting

Shinto Research Paper
For week 7 I decided that I would do my assignment on Shinto, since taking this class and reading
about Shinto it started to interest me, especially now that I can look back and think about what I saw
when I was in Japan and wondered what the religion was that they were practicing. Shinto s meaning
is way of the gods , this is one of the oldest religions in Japan, which began during the period of the
Yayoi culture (c. 300 BCE 300 CE). The faith has neither a founder or prophets and there is no major
text which outlines its principal beliefs. Shinto s key concepts of purity, harmony, family respect, and

Together they created a new race of gods who ruled the earth. Over time Amaterasu became concerned
at the power/control that the gods wielded. Amaterasu then went to her grandson Honinigi, these were
the jewels and mirror the gods used to persuade Amaterasu out of her cave and the sword that was
given to her by Susanoo, known later as Kusanagi. These three objects would become part of the
imperial regalia of Japan. Another symbol carried by Honinigi was the magnificent magatama jewel
which had special fertility powers. The most powerful god was Okuninushi, Honinigi landed on Mt.

The Antibacterial And Antiseptic Impregnated Catheters
Methodology
Extraneous Variables
It is very important for the researcher to control the extraneous variable that could affect the study
results. The extraneous variables that would affect the results in this study include, the catheter
material, the catheter care, and the method of obtaining the urine sample. To control the catheter
material, this study will be using the antimicrobial and antiseptic impregnated catheters instead of the
standard catheters as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2009
guidelines because they are effective in reducing the risk of CAUTIs. To control the catheter care, the
study will follow the CDC guidelines for routine catheter care by ensuring that all the indwelling
urinary catheters (IUC) maintain a sealed drainage system, and an unobstructed urine flow. In
addition, the nursing staff will be cleansing the meatal area daily with warm soapy water instead of
antiseptics, while maintaining the standard precautions including hand hygiene and wearing of gloves
while performing peri urethral care. To control the procedure for obtaining urine sample, the study
will use the CDC recommendation for collecting the urine sample aseptically, by aspirating the urine
from the sampling port with a sterile syringe after thoroughly cleansing the port with an antiseptic
wipe (Gould et al., n.d.).

Children at age two have a vocabulary that reaches up to 2,000 words, by the age of four, preschool
age children of parents who are literate have increased their vocabulary to a maximum of 10,000

especially when it comes to more rich vocabulary words.
Lastly, it is important to include Norm Chomsky every time we talk about language acquisition.
Through his studies we can say that children can learn a new language because of their innate ability
in their brain to be able to classify different words, specifically grammatical terms. He suggested that
we have a device in our brain which he called a Language Acquisition Device that allows children to
notice the differences between two languages. In my opinion if all of us have this device. All the child
needs to stimulate it to be able to learn those important first words that a child is going to need as they

she is surprised that her name is Jess in till she finds out her real name is Jesminder.
Gender is an issue in Bend it like Beckham it is shown in mainly ways. Firstly when Jess is playing
football in the park and Jules says she is good and she should play for her football team. After this the
boys she was playing football with say to Jess and Jules will you take your shirts off at the end of the
game. Another gender issue is when her mom finds out jess has been playing football behind her back.
Then her mother says an Indian girl should not be playing football, they should be cooking. Finally
her dad does not want her play not just because of her religion. He does not want her play because
when he first moved from India to England he was the best at a sport, but because of he was Indian he
was not allowed to play and he doesn t want her to get caught. In one part of the play Jess gets red
carded for fighting on the pitch. She did this because another girl made her a racist remark at Jess and
called her a paki . She said to Jules this really hurt her. This shows gender and cultures issues because
she is being abused about her Asian backgrounds, which she wants to defend.

Potential for damage is often more obvious where levels of humidity and rainfall are high. High levels
of disease can result from just a few infected plants since each spot produces numerous conidia or
spores. The spores can be dispersal by windborne and may also be spread by splashing rain, irrigation
water, insects, and human contact. This disease could be a potential thread in other new areas with
similar agro ecology especially on Dioscoreophyllum, Rhigiocarya, Tinospora and Menispermaceae
crops.
MANAGEMENT, PREVENTION AND CONTROL
This disease can be managed by avoid overhead irrigation if it will result in prolonged leaf wetness
periods. Proper cutting and reduction of plant leaves reduce water drop on leaf surface especially by
dew and excess rain water.
Proper observance of planting distance allows sufficient sun light, air circulation and avoids disease to

The Availability Of Fast Food Essay
The availability of fast food is contributing to the rise of Obesity in New Zealand
Question 1: Explain the view point and find evidence to support the view
I believe that some people have this view because fast food outlets usually consist of fatty foods. This
means that people who don t have much time or money can easily go out and buy food for themselves
and their children. Studies show that New Zealand fast food consumption was an estimated 2 3 kgs
per person per year. Studies also show that nearly $2000 is spent on fast foods every year. In
Cambridge alone there are multiple fast food outlets. These include KFC, McDonalds, Dominoes,
Pizza hut etc. because these foods are extremely high in fats when they are a consumed they cause
people to gain wait. If you eat these foods once a week they will not really harm you but if you eat it
regularly and do no exercise often you will become obese. This is the problem that is happening in
New Zealand. Instead of people just buying them once a week people are buying them 3 to 4 times a
week and it s causing their diets to be unhealthy. In Cambridge and Hamilton there are healthy options
available these can include Subway, Kebabs, and local bakeries that sell sandwiches etc.
Question 2: Gather evidence for and against different points of views?

kids do not go out and buy it. There has been 3000 institutions of professionals who

Under Contract Law Case Study
The best model of jurisprudence describing a court s review of local zoning ordinances termed as the
planning law suggests that some form of plan is necessary. The model draws heavily on administrative
law doctrines to state that all gradual changes must conform to standards set out in the previous
scheme. In this context, it means that the rezoning of residential land to commercial was contrary to
the previous plan in the zoning ordinance. Moreover, courts apply the case of Fasano v. Board of
County Commissioner that sets a precedent on the need to enforce conformity to a plan.
Under contract law, courts take relevance in the express terms of an agreement and any applicable
course of past course of dealing, usage of trade and industry between parties by construing contract
terms whenever reasonable as consistent with each other to ascertain the meaning of the parties

Different Methods Of Preventing Vitamin D Deficiency And...
Seasonal affective disorder is a mood disorder characterized by depression, which occurs around the
same time every year (Partonen, 1998). It is hypothesized that being deficient in vitamin D is a reason
for having seasonal affective disorder. We have researched four different methods of preventing
vitamin D deficiency and seasonal affective disorder. The most used methods of achieving adequate
vitamin D levels were found to be indoor tanning, natural light, light therapy and vitamin D

When looking at seasonal affective disorder, the environment where someone lives greatly affects

Throughout the majority of my life, I had dreams of becoming an attorney and did not consider
medicine as a profession until much later in my academic career. I had previously pictured myself

  • 2. Photography Is A Moment, An Instant Photography is like a moment, an instant. You need a half second to get the photo. So it s good to capture people when they are themselves. This is a quote from Patrick Demarchelier, who is a french fashion photographer. Photography captures a moment that won t happen again, so you have to make sure you re prepared. There s a lot of aspects that come in when capturing a photograph, the most important being aperture size, shutter speed, and the ISO. One of the most important aspects of taking a good photo is aperture. Aperture is the hole that light travels through in the camera. An easy way to understand aperture is to compare the parts of a camera to the human eye. The aperture is like the pupil; how much light that enters the retina (camera sensor) depends on the size of the pupil. Typically, larger aperture size equals more light, just like a larger pupil means there s more light. So, the easiest way to remember aperture, is by associating it with your pupil. Large pupil size equals large aperture, while small pupil size equals small aperture . Our cornea is like the front element in lens; it gathers all the external light, then bends it and passes it to the iris. Another important part of the camera that affects the aperture is the diaphragm. The diaphragm is the iris of the lens that is in control of the aperture size. The diaphragm s purpose is to block out all light that doesn t go to the top. Aperture are expressed in f numbers, or f stops. They are a way ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Financial Audit Of The World s Financial Audits The majority of the world s financial audits are dominated by four major audit firms, which are known as the Big 4 (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst Young, KPMG, and Deloitte). Prior studies suggest that these firms, on average, provide higher quality audit services and also exhibit a fee premium in comparison with their non Big 4 audit firms; however, it is questionable that whether all these Big 4 audit firms are the same and that whether there are differences in audit quality within the Big 4. In term of total audit fee dollars, PwC maintains its leadership position among the Big 4 (Appendix A, table 1), followed by Deloitte, Ernst Young and KPMG. In 2014, PwC generated $15 billion from its audit service 44% more than those earned by KPMG. PwC also ranked as the most prestigious accounting firm (Appendix A, table 2) in 2015 according to the Vault s annual Accounting Survey as reported in table 2, followed by Ernst Young, Deloitte and KPMG. Following qualitative responses are also taken during the Vault s survey to describe their perception of firms other than their own: Most prestigious of the Big 4 Very aggressive firm but over promises in the marketplace Doesn t seem to care about audit anymore Overworking employees beyond every other firm Not a good work/life balance Big 3 s kid brother Least prestigious of the Big 4 . • 4. Great Recession And The Great Depression GREAT ECONOMIC TIMES IN AMERICA The Great Recession and the Great Depression are the fallout of the exact same economic problems and are only different in a few respects. Each period is marked by a massive run ups in asset prices followed by a crash in the stock market and sent both debt and equity markets down. These periods are said to be the worse economic downturn in the country s history. During the great depression, as banks failed and threatened to shut down the financial system altogether, President Franklin Roosevelt moved quickly and effectively to address the most dangerous financial crisis of the Great depression. The massive stock market collapse that began in October 1929 erased massive amounts of wealth and because many banks had invested heavily in the markets, and had lent recklessly to speculative investors, the banks found themselves without sufficient capital and in many cases without reserves. He created the New Deal which responded to an unemployment rate that had reached 25 percent, and in some cities as much as 75 percent. He signed the Emergency Banking Act, which allowed inspectors to evaluate troubled banks and decide whether or not they could reopen. The Glass Steagall Act created a barrier between commercial and investment banking and established the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, which guaranteed that citizens would not lose their bank deposits even if a bank failed. Touching down around 9:30 local time, I climbed wearily down the stairs and saw my first sight of Africa, the Nairobi airport. It didn t look especially impressive and I only wanted to sleep because my body ached in a way that only eight hours in an airplane can do. My family was taken to customs; two hours later, we emerged, glad that we had hurdled our first obstacle. After, finding our driver, we had a 45 minute tour on the way to our tent camp. Seeing Africa at around midnight seemed to reinforce some stereotypes and dispel others. Nairobi looked fairly modernized, I saw billboards for cell phones above ... They could be picked out at a distance from their navy blue blazers that they wore. In the proportion to the police, there seemed to be far greater numbers of security guards. Two days later, we drove for six hours into Tanzania. The scenery we passes could have come from any Western. The hills were covered in scrub bush and trees were rare. African cattle herds grazed in the hills. The distance was broken by towns that were few and far between. Along the road lay the businesses. Many of the shops had advertisements on them; here, Coke was easily beating Pepsi. Along with numerous Coke advertisements were ones for local cell phone carriers. Martian red was the predominant colour of the brick businesses and between the shops and road lay a three foot deep, uncovered, slabbed storm ditch that looked like it could eat our safari truck. At the border station, we showed our passports in the hot and dusty room and then resumed our trip. Our guide pointed out Mount Kilimanjaro, partially hidden by low wispy clouds that shrouded the its snow topped peak. The road wound between high hills as we traversed part of the Rift Valley. Upon entering Arusha, we saw a bustling city with apartments, green parks and other appointments of a large city. Once past the city center, we turned down a potholed road to our lodge for the night. The Treatment Of Young Offenders In past years the treatment of young offenders has evolved in favour of minors, as rehabilitation has become a major aspect in the heeling and learning process for youths. Since online and retail items require late production much of the wholesale business is pushed first through production. This allows for their wholesale to fulfill their orders, but not always the retail stores. To make matters worst, sometimes during the holidays their supplier would not be able to produce their containers needed for their production, which would also throw back production. Production planning becomes even more complicated because of the influence of the out of stocks, which would cause the sales graphs to be heavily distorted. The graphs would be distorted if items were out of stock for a month and the backorders were filled in a short period of time. Whenever there were overstock issues, retail stores would push the items through discounts. Often when there were out of stock issues for the wholesalers the company would take the supplies from their retail stores and divert it to the wholesaler s order. Lastly, when special orders were placed for wholesale, it was not uncommon for the production plans to be put on hold to focus on special orders. As a result from all the production errors, the sales graph would have unnatural spikes, yet these spikes would be included for planning production for the following year. • 13. Sternberg s Triangular Theory Of Commuality And... Commitment has proven to be an integral component within most lasting relationships. Many scholars have worked to uncover the reasoning behind what leads to increased commitment and relationship longevity. Of course, with each romantic relationship, the reasons for why an individual or a couple remains together can vary, leading to a wide variety of theories to be established to explain the components of commitment. Theories include a focus on the investment theory of commitment, perceived relationship satisfaction, relationship alternatives, and the rewards and costs of a relationship in correlation to motivators behind commitment. The primary goal of this paper is to examine the complexities of commitment in relation to the aforementioned theories for promoting relationship longevity. In order to best understand the role of commitment within already established romantic relationships, it s necessary to look at the various theories concerning topics of commitment. First and foremost, the work of Lemieux and Hale analyze Sternberg s Triangular Theory of Love, which serves as a strong foundation for understanding the role of commitment within a romantic relationship. The aforementioned theory states that love is composed of three parts: intimacy, passion, and commitment. According to the studies pertaining to this theory, each of the three components change in prevalence throughout the course of a relationship. This alone can also create violence in black males because they recognize the unfair treatment which leads to resentment and anger. This soon manifests into even bigger problems within the self. Exposure to aggressive experiences, in school and outside school, can profoundly affect mental health, including adjustment at school, (Basch, 2011). Both civilizations lasted hundreds of years and accumulated each a population of more than fifty to sixty million inhabitants. While the two developed around the same time frame they spoke different languages, had different governments, and different ways of living. Their main way of food was agriculture. Both great civilizations had perfected the ways of trade and had built numerus roads to do so. Trade was their major source of money and exotic products such as cotton and spices. Additionally, both of them concentrated on territory expansion. While both these civilizations had many similarities in their economic structure they had a few differences as well. For the Roman Empire agriculture was its primary source of their food and wealth. The grew grains, olives, and grapes. Furthermore, out of those crops they made olive oil and wine since that was one of their most important commodities. After his assassination, Toyotomi Hideyoshi picked up the torch and continued to unite country. He created an early version of the class system separating the farmers from the warriors, and it was enforced through a sword hunt. Farmers were prevented from owning weapons such as swords and guns. • 21. Carl Jung on Synchronicity Carl Jung wrote fully about synchronicity very late in his life. His book Synchronicity: the principle of non causal relations was published in 1952, when he was already over 70 years old. Jung called it an attempt to represent together all that I can say on this subject. This work is complex, with a lot of fiddling work that has been read as lectures a year earlier under the title On synchronicity. The great psychiatrist introduced the concept of synchronicity in 1930, in a speech commemorating his friend Richard Wilhelm. However, the first draft of the concept of synchronicity was introduced in 1949 in the introduction to the Book of Changes (I Ching), translated by William. Jung rarely mentioned the ted synchronicity throughout his works. Synchronicity is a descriptive term for the relations between the two events related to a common value. To illustrate this concept, Jung described an event that happened to his patient who always knew everything better than others, making it difficult to advance therapy. A young woman I was treating had, at a critical moment, a dream in which she was given a golden scarab. While she was telling me this dream, I sat with my back to the closed window. Emergency Medicine Personal Statement Throughout the majority of my life, I had dreams of becoming an attorney and did not consider medicine as a profession until much later in my academic career. I had previously pictured myself pursuing a career in intellectual property rights and hoped to become a patent attorney, given my interest in the scientific field. I then found myself with a college degree and an unclear direction in life, unsure of what new career I wanted to pursue. Shortly after graduating, I discovered a medical scribe vacancy in my hometown s Emergency Department (ED). Working as a scribe in the ED was a profound experience that undoubtedly shaped my career path and inspired me to become a physician and apply to medical school.
