Educational Technology 2 is a new
course in the education curriculum which has
to come about from the need to adapt to a
changing world. Now, we all know that so
much advancement has been made in the
field of technology. We are now in living in a
world of computers, internet, laptops, cell
phones and other technological inventions.

There are positive benefits derived from the
use of information technology or digital
resources.
Daily exposure to high technology- personal
computers, video games, cell phones. Internet
sites- stimulates the brain.
A current technological revolution is creating an
intellectual better than ever before.

The new generation is exposed to guide

•Traditional classroom – it usually arranged with neat
columns and rows of students chair, while the teacher
stands in from of the classroom.
•The SCL classroom - the term student-centered learning
refers to a wide variety of educational programs, learning
experience, and instructional approaches, that are
intended to address the distinct learning needs,
interests, aspirations, or cultural backgrounds of
individual students.

Cooperative is also called group learning
by the small groups of students who work
together in a common learning task.

The computer hardware can hardly be useful
without the program or system that tells what
computer machine should do is called software.
Two kinds of software:
the system software

be visited on the internet or
can be bought from

 Internet-largest and far-flung network
system-of-all-systems.
 Through Transmission Control
Protocol/Internet Protocol everything can be
coordinated through the internet.
 The most attractive way to move around the
internet browsing. Using a program called a
browser.

In Educational Technology 1, computer
should not just be used on playing games, cyber
bullying and etc. which could deprive other's
rights. Rather it used be used in a correct way.
instead of playing online games why don't we
search our assignment over the net? Or just
simply visit the educational website, in that way
we could gain more knowledge that can help us
in our studies.
Education Technology 1 has truly paved
the way for the learner to become aware,
appreciative and equipped to use educational
technology 1 tools ranging from traditional to
modern educational media.

the deeper understanding of the computer as
well as hand- on application of computer skills.
It gives us a better comprehension of how
technology is being integrated to the teaching
and learning process which could make the

students and for the teachers as well.

the students on a collaborative way with the
internet in order for them to learn better, and to
infuse technology in the student- teachers
training, helping them to adapt and meet rapid
continuing technological changes particularly in
the thriving global ICT environment.

learned that technology equips the future
teacher to become more effective and
efficient in her day to day work. And also
educational technology can help teachers
and students in doing a PowerPoint
presentation to become it more interesting.
