It notes that today's learners spend more time on technology like phones, social media, games, and the internet. Using technology in teaching can stimulate brain development and allow for unique knowledge construction. It also notes teachers need to understand digital learners and use technology to improve teaching and learning, as most student activities now require computer skills. Teachers must monitor technology use but also apply diverse instructional materials and strategies to engage different learners.
It contains what one would expect in a Student-centered learning(SCL), a comparison on traditional classroom and SCL ckassrooms and how ICT is used to supplement SCL

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

This slides describes the basic concepts of ICT, basics of Email, Emerging Technology and Digital Initiatives in Education. This presentations aligns with the UGC Paper I syllabus.
5. Today’s learners appear smarter, yet they can’t
read as their parents do and they are addicted
to the internet.
6. This lesson involves on how to understand the
digital learners and what are their benefits in
engaging this kind of learners in technology based
instructional media.
7. Teachers/Educators
Generally use the traditional education
program which is applicable to the
learners in the past.
They fail to realize that the new
learners are information technology or
digital learners.
New Learners
Spend more time talking to friends
over the phone, sending text messages,
interacting through the social Internet
media e.g. Facebook, playing video
games and surfing the World Wide
Web.
8. Scientists said that, there are positive benefits derived
from the use of information technology or digital
resources and these counterbalance possible negative
effects of technology on children. In addition, daily
exposure to high technology-personal computers,
video game gadgets, cellphones, and internet search
sites- stimulates the brain by strengthening and
creating neural circuits.
9. Furthermore, this current technological revolution is
creating an intellectual revolution, faster and better
than ever before. Knowledge is constructed uniquely
and individually in multiple ways and it is
constructed through a variety of tools, resources,
experiences, and contexts.
10. 19th century psychologist Jean Piaget presented a chart from childhood
to adulthood inclusive of the skills/learning pattern. Given the digital
age, the chart needs to be modified. Early stages includes computer-
aided programs nowadays. With the use of modern information
technology, multitasking can be developed by the learners. However,
multitasking is needed in the Professional field, dominated by the use
of information technology.
11. Learning is internally controlled and mediated by the
learners and they bring unique prior knowledge,
experience, and beliefs to a learning situation.
12. Today’s generations of students are very
dependent on technology. Most of the activities in
school require computer skills. Assignments must
be encoded, passing of requirements through an
email. Make a presentation through PowerPoint,
edit a video, make an account for school purposes,
and etc.
13. Most students are a visual
learner that’s why teachers
must use pictures, videos in
presenting a lesson to catch
the attention of the students.
14. The products of technology
make our life easier. Doing
things are in an instant way.
Because we depend too
much on technology;
teachers understand and
know how to use technology
application to improve and
enhance the teaching and
learning.
15. Understanding technology
learners is an advantage in
the part of the teachers,
because it allows them to
explore and to discover new
instructional material using
technology. Learning would
be more enjoyable and
interactive.
16. Teachers are responsible to their
students and have the authority
in their classroom. We all know
that this technology may
destroy everyone; and since the
improvement of technology is
inevitable, teachers must
monitor his/her students.
17. As future teacher, I must
have the heart to know my
students to cater their
educational needs. By
understanding them, I can
able to apply appropriate
instructional materials
suitable for the discussed
topic, cater their multiple
intelligences through various
teaching strategies.
18. DISCUSSION In small groups, discuss and
report:
1.How many in the group think they belong to
the technology or digital generation?
2.How many feel they should support and
stride along the information technology
revolution.?
3.Present ideas on how to balance "butterfly-
like " multitasking skills with single-task skills
to accomplish specific task.
