Skeletal muscle tissue is organized into bundles of fibers called fascicles. Cardiac muscle is found only in the heart and forms an interconnected network. Smooth muscle is found in organs and blood vessels and its cells are elongated and branching unlike striated skeletal and cardiac muscle.
