Micro teaching: Meaning
Training procedure for teacher preparation aimed at
simplifying complexities of regular teaching process.
It is a scaled down sample of teaching in which teacher teaches
a small topic to a small group for a small period.
Micro-teaching is a controlled practice that makes it
possible to concentrate on teaching behavior in the
student-teacher training programme.
Micro teaching: Definition
Micro teaching is defined as
“a scaled down teaching encounter in a class size and class time”.

Micro-teaching is defined as “a system of controlled practice
that makes it possible to concentrate on specified teaching
behavior and to practices teaching under controlled conditions.
