There are some obstacles faced every day where the users spent their valuable time in queue at tollgate due to traffic congestion as well as using traditional manual method in most existing toll ETC system to collect toll from road users. Besides that, the barrier design where each vehicle stop waiting until barrier lift which consider source of time delay. To tackle stated problems, an electronic toll collection system is proposed which based on RFID technology. The integrated system consists of two main sections, electronic sides where all input data received from while database management office is where all necessary information stored. To compare the current ETC system, in this research elaborated internet of things where all data transmit through cloud and then to the main office in real time. Not only that, there is some enhancement based on barrier design where, gate is remained open for all vehicles with sufficient tags without requiring to stop to eliminate time delay.By check system throughput compare to existing toll systems, various tests have been carried out in different method where proposed system throughput much higher percentage the current system.
Smart Mobile Roadside Park Charging SystemsIJMREMJournal
Currently, roadside parking charging is mainly operated manually. However, this makes it difficult to achieve
effective management. Aimed at removing many inconveniences brought by this current approach, this study
discusses how to apply Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in this issue. The RFID reader can be installed
on a track. Through the track, the RFID reader can detect a whole row of parking spaces along the sides of the
road and therefore, can replace the current approach with which people hold machines to scan cars one by one.
Both parkers and managers of the parking system can use an online platform which offers an open individual
inquiry system and impartial and accurate reflection of the real-time status and ensures a fair process of issuing
parking tickets.

Statistics indicate that most road accidents occur due to a lack of time to react to instant traffic. This problem can be addressed with self-driving vehicles with the application of automated systems to detect such traffic events. The Autonomous Vehicle Navigation System (ATS) has been a standard in the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and many Driver Assistance Systems (DAS) have been adopted to support these Advanced Autonomous Vehicles (IAVs). To develop these recognition systems for automated self-driving cars, it's important to monitor and operate in real-time traffic events. It requires the correct detection and response of traffic event an automated vehicle. In this paper proposed to develop such a system by applying image recognition to detect and respond to a road blocker by means of real-time distance measurement. To study the performance by measuring accuracy and precision of road blocker detection system and distance calculation, various experiments were conducted by using Shalom frame dataset and detection accuracy, precision of 99%, 100%, while distance calculation 97%, 99% has been achieved by this approach.

Smart transit payment for university campus transportation using RFID card sy...IJECEIAES
In the transportation business, we aim to be cost-efficient and effective in our customer service but with the traditional transit payment system, it is not so. Lately, transit companies all over the world are moving towards superior client service, nimbleness, receptiveness to necessities that diverge at a time scale that was absurd even two decades ago. The aim of this study was to create an electronic transit payment system that will allow for full pliability and solutions functionality that Covenant Universities and Nigerian transit companies should adopt to become more effective and efficient. We achieved this with the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) smart cards and card readers aiding a computer program that was programmed using C#. In addition, the program was simple and not expensive to implement in order to eliminate the mismanagement of ticket funds, loiter paper in bus stations, and so on. Together all this became our payment system.

: This paper is aimed at designing a density based dynamic traffic signal system where the timing
of signal will change automatically on sensing the traffic density at any junction using the IoT technology. Traffic
congestion is a severe problem in most cities across the world and therefore it is time to shift more manual mode
or fixed timer mode to an automated system with decision making capabilities. To optimize this problem, we have
made a framework for an intelligent traffic control system. Sometimes higher traffic density at one side of the
junction demands longer green time as compared to standard allotted time. We therefore propose here a
mechanism in which the time period of green light and red light is assigned on the basis of the density of the
traffic present at the time. This is achieved by using LIDAR sensors.

Automatic toll collection using optical code recognition and encryptioneSAT Journals
Abstract Automatic Toll Collection Using Optical Code Recognition and Encryption provides an alternative to the current existing toll collections techniques and tries to overcome the drawbacks of these system. In this system, the number plate of a particular vehicle is encrypted using DES algorithm and an OCR code is generated out of it. This code is used as sticker on the car windshield. High Definition (HD) cameras capture this code and image processing is performed using Open CV functions on the code. It is then matched in the database. If matched, the tax is debited from the users account and the vehicle is allowed to pass within seconds. If the balance is insufficient then only once pass is allowed. After that the payment has to be made manually. An additional feature that supports this system is that if a vehicle is stolen and an entry is being made in the central database for the same by the police then if the vehicle passes through the toll plaza, a silent alarm would buzz which would indicate the operator at the toll booth that the vehicle is a stolen vehicle. Keywords: Open CV, OCR, Encryption, Image Processing, DES Algorithm
Automated Toll Collection System used for collecting tax automatically from the moving vehicle. Here we do the identification with the help of radio
frequency. A vehicle will hold an RFID tag. This tag contains unique identification number. This unique identification number will be assigned by
RTO or traffic governing authority. Reader will be strategically placed at toll collection center. Whenever the vehicle passes the toll collection center,
the tax amount will be deducted automatically from his prepaid balance. New balance will be updated in his account. Incase if one has insufficient
balance, his updated balance will be negative one and the warning message will be send to the user. As vehicles don‟t have to stop in a queue, it
assures time saving, fuel conservation, avoid traffic congestions and also contributing in saving of money.

Smart Road Technology for Traffic Management and ITS Infrastructure Assessmen...IJAEMSJORNAL
This technical work describe infrastructure requirement and the working principles and procedures involved in operation of a Smart Road. A Smart Road is similar to a conventional highway but the difference is, it is equipped with the electronic gadgets required to capture static and dynamic physical entities occupied on the road at a given time and location. Nowadays traffic safety and highway congestion has become a serious concern to the Authorities and required to be managed them within the available resources. Also it is not possible to increase the capacity of highway infrastructure to compete with increase in traffic. In cities on highway system, large amount of traffic data being generated and an integrated approach is required for the efficient management transportation system. Smart Road is an innovative approach wherein Information Communication Technologies (ICT) is merged with traditional infrastructure and integrated with digital technologies. Critical examination of literature review reveals that many technologies are available for data capturing and management. Notable among them are by using ultrasonic sensors, light sensors, motion sensors, camera and IOT devices. The data collected by the devices would be managed through cloud computing and big data analytic methods. To assess the current traffic situation spot speeds and traffic volumes are captured for peak and non-peak on the Express Highway and from the data captured 85th percentile speed and LoS are estimated. Smart road technology is discussed for transportation system management. And IT infrastructure requirement for capturing traffic related data demonstrated for the selected road in Muscat.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.
