This research investigates the causes of time and cost overruns in educational building projects in Egypt, identifying key factors such as design errors, bureaucratic delays, and inadequate site management. A questionnaire survey was conducted with construction professionals to rank these factors based on their importance and severity, ultimately leading to the development of statistical regression models for predicting future overruns. The study highlights the critical impact of these overruns on project delivery and the overall improvement of the educational system in Egypt.
