Emergency Physicians Proposal:  GEMNET (Global Emergency Medical Net) ( what?) A NETWORK In case  of  Natural disasters Local, Regional or International Standardized Rapid Response Rescue Team (H24) Multidisciplinary & International At the disposal  of the country and any rescuers  (H24;H72). At the  disposal of UN, NGO’s, and any rescuers in urgency.
GEMNET  (what is it?) GEMNET  is an  independent ,  global ,  multidisciplinary ,  apolitical ,  standardized   trained  network .  From  Civil society Private fundraising
GEMNET  (what is it?) Prevention training (International on line modules) Professional network International Chart Rapid satellite assessement  (2 ways) aid to  local  rescuers and authorities   without any prerequisite (H24/72) With respect of local culture
GEMNET  (Who and how?) Local action Global thoughts  Emergency physicians, nurses, logisticians… all professionals involved in disasters from Local team Aim of 2000 correspondents Signature of  an international charter for automatic response Private financing
GEMNET  (Who and how?) It is an  upstream , coordinated, thorough work with standardized online module training for rescuers in disaster . Each country will have notified and authorized correspondents. The correspondents will be mobilizable within 24 hours. (like hospital shift) Strong  local links  between emergency rescuers, standardized training around year. Quick  global and local   assessment  provided by satelllite organisation  (ESA NASA)  For critical and crucial  24 hours .
