The Annual After-School Workshop of Digital Cinema is a course aimed at young people between 12 to 18 years old who want to learn how to make their own films. The course will run from October 14, 2015 to June 15, 2016 and will meet on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Students will learn filmmaking skills like screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and more through creating short films each month under teacher supervision. All necessary equipment is provided and the course is taught by professionals with teaching experience.

OBJETIVOS Y ESTRUCTURA:
The Annual Workshop of Digital Cinema is
aimed to young people between 12 to 18

Students will combine theoretical knowled-
ge with practical shooting so that, in a
pleasant and attractive, can easily assimilate
knowledgeandapplytheirtalentsinwriting,
recordingandeditingshortfilms.
Eachmonthofthecourseitwillshootashort
film and supervise the various stages by
teachers. It will work different styles (B / W,
color ...), genres (Fantastic FilmThriller,Video
...) and techniques of film work (Director,
Camera, Editing, Sound ...) and the students
will gets used to with the teamwork and
internaldisciplineofashooting.
All technical equipment: cameras, lighting,
computers,monitors,DVD,etc.,areprovided
bytheschool.
All activities are supervised by teachers of

The Annual After-School Workshop of Digital Cinema is aimed to young people
between 12 to 18 who have a desire to learn to make their own films.
The Digital Cinema and the new technology of edit and distribution of films, allow to
young people approach to the audiovisual world with tools that are very familiar:
Digital Cameras, Computers, Software and computer retouching, image effects ,
Digital Sound Recorders, etc.
The cinema is a way of expression appealing to young people a vehicle to convey
their thoughts and concerns. The course proposes a first approach to young people
to the process of creating a film. From the idea, developing a screenplay, preparing
the film, shooting, postproduction and distribution of the film.
Students will combine theoretical knowledge with practical shooting so that, in a
pleasant and attractive, can easily assimilate knowledge and apply their talents in
writing, recording and editing short films.
Currently, the audiovisual is a booming career field that requires constant technical
and creators ready to work with new technologies. Writers, Directors / es, photogra-
phy, cameras, sound technicians, Assistant Directors, Actors and Actresses, assem-
blers Image, Sound Editors …
This course is aimed at young people who have a vocation audiovisual early, and
those who want to approach this artistic expression.
Each month of the course it will shoot a short film and supervise the various stages by
teachers. It will work different styles (B / W, color ...), genres (Fantastic Film Thriller,
Video ...) and techniques of film work (Director, Camera, Editing, Sound ...) and the
students will gets used to with the teamwork and internal discipline of a shooting.
All technical equipment: cameras, lighting, computers, monitors, DVD, etc., are provi-
ded by the school.

1. What is the cinema? Moving image. Cinema as art and cinema as industry. Trades
of the cinema.
2. What is a script? Building the story: situations, characters, dialogues ... Basic struc-
ture. The conflict. Film genres.
3. Language film: framing, composition, light, color, movement, music, sound ...
4. The hd camera. Basic function: menu cards and recording. Accessories: optical,
tripods, umbrella, filter ... Camera work indoors and outdoors. Practice of recording
fixe shoot and recording movements (panoramic camera in hand...)
5. Light and shadow. Basic knowledge of lighting elements. Natural and artificial
light ...
6. The creation of visual script: script and technical storyboard. What is a plan? Types
of plans as the angle, scale, movement ...
7. Sound. Dialogue, noise and music. Recording sound practices. Wildtracks and
environments.
8. The actors. Performance in the cinema. Casting and management practices actors.
The nature:makeup, hair and clothes.
9. Preparation of shooting: teams, functions and organisation. Decorative and
locations. Scene of shooting. Teamwork.
10. Shooting plan a plan. Work methodology. The clapperboard. Repetitions, techni-
cal corrections and actors.
11. The editing: image and sound editing. Rhythm. Order. Duration. Transitions.
Visual effects and retouching.
12. Vision and analysis of the elements of short film every month.
