This document summarizes a study on the compressive strength of concrete when replacing fine aggregate with blast furnace slags. Various proportions of fine aggregate replacement (20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%) were tested and the compressive strength was measured at 3, 7, and 28 days. The results showed that 30% replacement of fine aggregate with blast furnace slag produced the highest compressive strength of 35.97 N/mm2 at 28 days. This suggests that blast furnace slag can partially replace natural sand in concrete, reducing costs and preserving natural resources while maintaining strength.
