Production Process Evaluation
Research
• Overall I feel that the research I did really helped with making the podcast
as I had more of an opinion and knowledge on the subject .
• Some weaknesses I found were that I didn’t really go by my script and I felt
like I struggled to keep everything in order.
• To Improve I would of made my script more detailed so it would of made it
easier for me to know what to say all at once. It would of made the
podcast a lot smoother and it would of saved more time.
Planning
• Overall I feel my planning went well and I would say it helped with my
product because it allowed me to take time and construct what key points
to talk about.
• I do feel it had a big affect on how my podcast would turn out. Further
more I do wish I added a few more facts into my podcasts and key points
to help get my point across.
Time Management
• I do think I managed most of time well such as my editing for my podcast I
feel like I spent a fair amount of time on that.
• However I do feel a lot of time was wasted when trying to record our
podcast as there were many audio corruptions and audio files did not
always work or were too big .
Technical Qualities
• The differences between my podcast and the ball street podcast is that my podcast
is a lot shorter however my podcast covers the same things as the ball street
podcast .my podcast was not made in a proper recording studio therefore the
sound quality will not sound as good . My podcast did not have any sponsors in
unlike the other one.

Aural Qualities
• Overall I think my podcast sound good however I do think I could of made
better when editing it by adding a range of sound effects to add more
realism to the podcast. Although I did like the intro music I added in and
also the outro song it fitted well with the theme of the podcast.
Audience Appeal
• Overall I feel that my podcast met my target audience as it was
aimed for people of the ages 16 and above. My content is
specifically aimed for all mature audiences and all of my podcast is
suitable for mature audiences. The music I used also appeals to my
audience.

• What did you like about the product?
• The things I liked about the podcast was the intro music and
also I like how the podcast is very realistic as its more a
debate than an interview.

• I would of like there to of been more sound effects added in
throughout the podcast and more questions asked to cover
the topic.

• Some of the things I disagree with my feedback would be
adding sound effects. I didn’t add any because it would of
made it hard to hear the audio of us speaking.

• If I could of changed my podcast I would of added in a different song for
my outro as I used the same song as the intro .
• I would also of changed the duration of my podcast as it was too short for
a normal podcast and isn’t really worth listening to compared to other
longer podcasts of the topic I discussed.
• Another thing I would liked to improve was the original sound quality of
the podcast it sounded distant sometimes and un clear therefore I would
of liked to of been in a proper recording studio next time like other
professional podcasts.
• I would of liked to of gone by my script more and possibly spoke more
factual as well as opinionated and given more information.

  • 3. Research • Overall I feel that the research I did really helped with making the podcast as I had more of an opinion and knowledge on the subject . • Some weaknesses I found were that I didn’t really go by my script and I felt like I struggled to keep everything in order. • To Improve I would of made my script more detailed so it would of made it easier for me to know what to say all at once. It would of made the podcast a lot smoother and it would of saved more time.
  • 4. Planning • Overall I feel my planning went well and I would say it helped with my product because it allowed me to take time and construct what key points to talk about. • I do feel it had a big affect on how my podcast would turn out. Further more I do wish I added a few more facts into my podcasts and key points to help get my point across.
  • 5. Time Management • I do think I managed most of time well such as my editing for my podcast I feel like I spent a fair amount of time on that. • However I do feel a lot of time was wasted when trying to record our podcast as there were many audio corruptions and audio files did not always work or were too big .
  • 6. Technical Qualities • The differences between my podcast and the ball street podcast is that my podcast is a lot shorter however my podcast covers the same things as the ball street podcast .my podcast was not made in a proper recording studio therefore the sound quality will not sound as good .   • 7. Aural Qualities • Overall I think my podcast sound good however I do think I could of made better when editing it by adding a range of sound effects to add more realism to the podcast. Although I did like the intro music I added in and also the outro song it fitted well with the theme of the podcast.
  • 8. Audience Appeal • Overall I feel that my podcast met my target audience as it was aimed for people of the ages 16 and above. My content is specifically aimed for all mature audiences and all of my podcast is suitable for mature audiences. The music I used also appeals to my audience.

Feedback 1 • What did you like about the product? • The things I liked about the podcast was the intro music and also I like how the podcast is very realistic as its more a debate than an interview. • What improvements could have been made to the product? • I would of like there to of been more sound effects added in throughout the podcast and more questions asked to cover the topic.

Feedback 2 • What did you like about the product? • The intro music is intriguing. • I like the discussion topic because it’s interesting and trendy. • I like the outro music. • I like the overall style. • What improvements could have been made to the product? • The quality of the audio could have been improved.
  • 12. Feedback 3 • What did you like about the product? – I liked the debate aspect of the podcast – The intro and outro music goes really well with the rest of the podcast • What improvements could have been made to the product? – Perhaps more sound effects could have been used.

Peer Feedback Summary • What do you agree with from your peer feedback? – Overall I agree with my feedback I think it was detailed and honest and gave constructive critsism. • What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? • Some of the things I disagree with my feedback would be adding sound effects. I didn’t add any because it would of made it hard to hear the audio of us speaking.

Peer Feedback Summary • If I could of changed my podcast I would of added in a different song for my outro as I used the same song as the intro . • I would also of changed the duration of my podcast as it was too short for a normal podcast and isn’t really worth listening to compared to other longer podcasts of the topic I discussed. • Another thing I would liked to improve was the original sound quality of the podcast it sounded distant sometimes and un clear therefore I would of liked to of been in a proper recording studio next time like other professional podcasts. • I would of liked to of gone by my script more and possibly spoke more factual as well as opinionated and given more information.
