3. Research
One strength of my research is that I found many podcasts to do with music
but didn't find one that was going to be like my podcast which made me think
my idea is very original.
One other strength is I put on the link of the podcast I was listing to so I can
listen to it again if iam struggling what to do in my podcast I can re listen to
the podcast
One weakness of my research is that I couldn’t find a podcast what matched
what kind of style I wanted to use so I couldn’t find out how they made the
podcast good and enjoyable
4. Planning
• One strength of my planning is that I generated quite a phew ideas this
would make it easier to decide what kind of podcast I wanted to make
and what kind of things I wanted to include in the podcast
• One other strength is m ideas where on different topics so I had a wider
range of options I could pick.
• One weakness of my planning and what I could improve on is adding more
information about the product
5. Time Management
• I managed to keep to my time schedule and ending up ahead of my
schedule which meant I had more time for recording and editing
• One good thing about being ahead of schedule is that I can have more
time to improver other parts of the project
• I ended up getting ahead of time because I anticipated it would take
longer to record the podcast I expected I to the the whole day. I also
anticipated he editing would take longer then it did and was surprised
how quick it took
6. Technical Qualities
Tape Notes | Podcast on Spotify
charlie and chums podcast - YouTube
One similarity with these two podcast is that the
subject is about music in both of these podcast
include music from songs they are talking about .
One difference in these podcasts are in tape notes
they talk about one specific song and artist while
the Charlie and chums podcast talks about various
songs and artist.
One other difference between these two podcast
are that in the tape notes there is only one speaker
and in the Charlie and chums podcast there is three
people who talk
7. Aural Qualities
• One good strength that my podcast is there is
no podcast like it. I wasn't able to find any
podcast that had the same style as mine.
• It was creative because I had to cut things
shorter so it didn’t sound boring and was one
long conversation to make it more interesting.
8. Audience Appeal
My podcast isn’t just aimed at on gender in my podcast I had a woman and a man
guest so I didn’t exclude anyone. One other way I appealed to my target audience
is making it age appropriate. The people in my podcasts are ages 16-18 so most
likely people that age would want to listen to see if its any good
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
• I liked the flowing conversation that the hosts
had about their opinions.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– The music at the beginning and end drags on a bit
too long, and it has 1 or 2 abrupt cuts.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I really liked how Charlie stayed on the topic of music. It
was a funny and chill podcast that anyone can enjoy. The
music at the beginning and end fits well with the podcast
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
• However the ending could have been edited a little
better, because he cut half of the conversation off and
said the ending and then the music started again.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I liked that the conversation didn’t feel too heavily
scripted
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Cut to the outro somewhere more natural next
time
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– I agree that the conversation just flows and sound
like it hasn’t got a script
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– i disagree about the music dragging I
think it played for the perfect amount of time for
the podcast
14. Peer Feedback Summary
If I was to do this product again I would shorten the intro and outro music so its shorter
and don’t drag on. One other thing I would improve if I was to do this project again I
would make sure the voices are more clear and doesn’t cut of mid sentence this will make
the podcast more professional and less boring. One thing I wouldn’t change is the cast it
was very fun and enjoyable to make with them.
