Research
• Strengths: Researching about other podcasts helped me think
how to present my idea and how to catch the audience. It helped
me not only talk about my theme/subject but talk about why you
have chosen to watch that type of film and to explain in detail
about that film. Researching about podcast videos allows me to
develop my initial Ideas, also to expand my audience range to a
group.
• Weaknesses: The weakness of research is time consuming and it
can take awhile to find the exact video you want so its not always
good to research. Its wasting time as its not giving me a valuable
contribution to my final product.
Planning
• Strengths: save time and think for ideas for your project. Also
planning made it easier to develop my original ideas by using then
planning I can see where I want to change and make better.
• Planning also ensures that I have gotten ideas but they are rough
ones and they will be changing throughout the process.
• Weaknesses: Also with research the plans can change and not got how
they originally was going to be.
• Although planning helps you in the process of making your mind up about
the final idea, it also is hard to think of an idea first because you need a
good idea what you will be good at doing.
Time Management
• I managed my time well as I straight away did my research and my
written process before I started my experiment and my final
podcast as the written parts take more time to do, I written my
experiment and podcast script. I started to rehearse it and record it,
but that took a while as I wanted to record parts at a time so I could
put it together without any problems.
• I did complete my project in time. If I had more time I would
improve on my recording rehearsals as they wasn’t professional
speaking as some parts sounded quieter then some was loud. Also
at the beginning of the podcast I would have been more energetic
and loud so it brought the audiences in.
Technical Qualities
• 3second intro.
• Energetic welcoming
• Tells about what they going to talk about.
• Introduces themselves
• Makes jokes
• Giving there own opinions
• Audio clear
• Loud speaking
• Ending they still are speaking but they
placed there main title on the end to show
that they have stopped podcasting, no real
ending.
• 9 second intro
• Energetic welcoming
• Asks audiences how they feel (sympathy)
• Tells what they are about to talk about
• Talk about the 1st and 2nd season.
• A little bit of humour
• Bad audio, can tell Its been paused as its loud
then quiet.
• Energy dies down after 1 minute of the
podcast
• Big pauses between talking.
• Can tell its scripted as they didn’t sound like
they knew what they was saying.
• Not much energy throughout the podcast,
end of it, it was a sarcastic ‘bye’
• 10second outro.
The YouTube podcast was better quality
and they seemed to have a lot of more
experience of speaking as they aren't
afraid to say anything. They are clear
with their speaking, clear microphones.
Aural Qualities
• Yes it does but I wish I could of made mine and my
working partner sound more energetic and
professional.
• I liked editing the project together and putting sound
affects on it. Makes it more professional.
• I would have changed the way we had spoken, also
rehearsed the lines/script more so it didn’t sound like
we didn’t know what we was talking about.
• Overall I liked how my podcast turned out but I wish I
had made of an effort in my podcast to make it sound
better.
Audience Appeal
I feel as I have appealed my target audience as I feel that 12-25 year olds
watch pretty little lairs so the people who watch it like to listen to a fan
based podcast to see how they felt about a certain series.
Also the women will sure to listen as they like to know how other girls
think about what happened and so they can gossip about it.
The intro to the actual series is on the beginning of my podcast so the fan
girls/fan boys know that I am going to talk about it, its to get people to
listen to my podcast.
My target psychographic group is balanced as it’s a mixture of the other
groups in one, they like to have a say in everything and give there opinions
on what they like and what they think is right and wrong and what's good
and what's bad.
There social status is a rank as they are high status.
Overall I feel as that my target audience is appealed to my work.

Peer Feedback Summary
I feel overall that my work is creative and was a good piece of work, I am
proud of what I have done to create this podcast.
; But If I had more time to make it any better, I would of put some sound
affects in the background to show the audience that its more to it then
just two people speaking also to make a dramatic delivery for the
audience. Also should of placed some quiet music in the background to
show that we are being calm and we are talking about something
important.
I also feel as I could made me and my partner more energetic so it will
grab the audience to listen and be interested. I could of placed some jokes
in the script to show we have a sense of humour and make the audience
giggle.
