This document summarizes key features of birds. It discusses their body parts like wings, feathers, beaks and feet. It explains that birds come in different types and have adapted features like beak shape and foot structure based on their diet and habitat. The document also covers birds' abilities like flight, sounds they make, nesting and migration behaviors.

this ppt is about super senses of animals, birds and insects. Like five senses of humans, many other animals do have different senses. these special senses are called super senses.
Learn about the different body parts and adaptations that are used by reptiles, birds, insects, aquatic and terrestrial animals to move, walk, run, crawl, hop, fly, jump and swim.
Shelter is one of our basic needs: it is a place that can protect us from the elements, keep us warm and safe, and give us the encouragement to satisfy our . human's physiological needs as the base of a triangle to show that meeting these needs are the most important in our lives.

Birdbeaks
Bird’s beaks are very important. They help the bird collect the food and sometimes they rip, tear, or crush food. They can act as an extra hand, such as when parrots use their beak for climbing. They are used for building nests, and in some birds like tailor bird use their beak for tie knots.
Amazing animals which are further divided into 4 categories
1. Amazing Birds
2. All birds have two legs, two wings and feathers and most birds can fly
3. The wings and feathers help them fly and the feathers help keep them warm.
4. Birds lay eggs with hard shells.
5. They keep the baby birds inside safe from animals that want to eat them.
6. AMAZING FISH
7. Fish have gills to help them breathe in water.
8. Scales all over their bodies help keep them safe from dangerous fish that want to bite them. •
9. They don’t have legs , but their fins and tails help them swim.
10. Fish lay their eggs in water, and their eggs are soft.
11. AMAZING AMPHIBIANS
12. Amphibians are very interesting because they can live on land and in water.
13. Amphibians need to have wet skin, so they live in wet places.
14. They lay their soft eggs in water.
15. They have gills when they’re young and the gills help them breathe in water.
16. Most amphibians ,like frog, have legs that help them walk and jump on land.
17. AMAZING MAMMALS
18. Some mammals live on land and some live in water.
19. Whales are water mammals and cats , rabbits and lion are land mammals.
20. Hair or fur covers most land mammals, bodies and this helps keep them warm.
21. People are mammals too! Mammals don’t lay eggs.
22. Their babies drink milk from their mothers.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
