This document summarizes a science project about birds conducted by Avni Chaturvedi. It discusses the key parts and features of birds, including feathers, beaks, feet and claws. It describes the different types of feathers, beaks, feet and claws and how they help different kinds of birds. Reflection sheets provide information about specific bird species like sparrows, crows, and woodpeckers. The document also discusses endangered and extinct birds and expresses the view that if humans work together, we can help protect birds and the environment.

Amphibians are a class of animals like reptiles, mammals, and birds. They live the first part of their lives in the water and the last part on the land. When they hatch from their eggs, amphibians have gills so they can breathe in the water. They also have fins to help them swim, just like fish. Later, their bodies change, growing legs and lungs enabling them to live on the land. The word "amphibian" means two-lives, one in the water and one on land.
Insects are an important part of agricultural systems as pollinators, scavengers, and beneficial enemies of pests. Insects can also be pests that cause severe damage to crops and act as vectors for diseases.

Birdbeaks
Bird’s beaks are very important. They help the bird collect the food and sometimes they rip, tear, or crush food. They can act as an extra hand, such as when parrots use their beak for climbing. They are used for building nests, and in some birds like tailor bird use their beak for tie knots.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
2. Birds and their Features
Birds are beautiful animals that can fly. Their body is divided into three parts: – head, Trunk, and tail.
They have two pairs of limbs – the legs and the wings. Birds have legs, but no hands. Their wings are
covered with feathers. Many birds can fly with the help of their wings. The Mouth of a bird is called a
beak. But they don’t have teeth. But birds itself distinguish with each other.
The following are the features that distinguish birds from other animals and themselves too.
• Feathers
• Beak
• Feet and Claws
3. Different kinds of feathers
There are three kinds of feathers: –
• Flight feathers – Flight feathers help birds to fly. They are found on the wings and the tail.
• Body feathers – Body feathers are colored feathers, which cover the body of the bird.
• Down feathers – Down feathers are soft and fluffy feathers found close to the body of a
bird. They help birds to keep their bodies warm.

8. If We were a Bird
If I were a bird, there would not be any kind of tension, evil, corruption etc. in my
world. I played with the winds free from pollution in the open sky and kept flying
away in the sky with singing the song .When I was flying in the sky, I would be very
happy to see the mountains, waterfalls, forests, humans, etc. and with that, I would
feel myself the best. But all this is only my own imagination. And we will not be able
to get out of the evil of this world just by imagining. We will all have to work
together to eradicate all the evils of this world and we have to keep our mother earth
as clean and beautiful as the sky so that we too can spend our lives happily like bird.

10. My favorite Bird
Parrot is my favorite bird. It is a very beautiful bird. Its body is covered with
green feathers. Its wings are green which look very pretty when it flies.
The parrot eats small fruits such as berries, grapes, etc. Parrots also eat rice,
mangoes and even chilli. The parrot has a thick red beak which is curved. There
is a black circle around its neck. Parrots are very good friends with people and
can mimic human speech. Thus it can be said that the parrots are very intelligent
and beautiful birds.
Parrots are majestic and intelligent birds. They are very unique creatures and
must be protected from human cruelties.
