We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2. Introduction of Myself
Hi everyone! I’m Johanna Dianne Selda.
I’m 18 years old. I’m currently taking up
Bachelor of Elementary Education with
Specialization in Early Childhood
Education, and I’m taking up my course
at Cavite State University.
3. Introduction of Myself
I love swimming. It is one of my favorite sports.
I also love taking selfies. It’s my stress reliever!
I love surfing in the internet, like facebook,
instagram and many more.
Why Education? I choose education, because I want
to teach children. I want them to learn something from
me: “I want to teach them not for my income but for
their outcome.”
4. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology is the effective use
of technological tools in learning. As a concept, it concerns an
array of tools, such as media, machines and networking
hardware, as well as considering underlying theoretical
perspectives for their effective application.
Educational technology is not restricted to high technology. It is
any instructional materials that the teacher uses in terms of
delivering his/her instruction easily and more effectively.
Educational technology includes numerous types of media that
deliver text, audio, images, animation, and streaming video, and
includes technology applications and processes such as audio or
video tape, satellite TV, CD-ROM, and computer-based
learning.
5. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology aims to improve education. Technology
should facilitate learning processes and increase performance of
the educational system(s) as it regards to effectiveness and/or
efficiency.
The focus of it is to facilitate learning into the students and be
able them to know the functions of different educational
technology that their teacher’s using.
The educational technology helps to improve the learning of
the students, they will be able to understand the lesson easily
because educational technology is also used to be able the
students to find interest in the lesson.
6. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology widen our knowledge and helps us to
improve our learning, but like what I’ve learned edtc is only a
tool for teaching to improve the teaching and learning process.
It gives students the chance to interact with their classmates
more by encouraging collaboration.
Technology helps the teachers prepare students for the real
world environment.
When mobile technology is readily available in the classroom,
students are able to access the most up-to-date information
quicker and easier than ever before.
Educational technology helps to improve skills of the students,
their communication, digital learning, collaboration, building
teams etc.
7. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
The Education Technology 1 (ET-1) course has truly paved the
way for the learner to become aware, appreciative and equipped
to use educational technology 1 tools ranging from traditional to
modern educational media.
Educational technology helps to orient the learner to the
pervasiveness of educational technology in society.
Educational technology helps To uplift the learner to human
learning through the use of learning technology.
To introduce the learner to what is recognized as the third
revolution in education, the computer.
8. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology goals is that this course can help our
target learners to weave technology in teaching with software
(computer programmed learning materials) becoming a natural
extension of their learning tools.
It involve deeper understanding of the computer a well as
hands-on application of computer skills.
To provide education in the use of technology in instruction by
providing knowledge and skills on technology integration-in-
instruction to learners
To acquaint students on information technology or IT- related
learning theories with the computer as a tutor
9. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology helps to inculcate higher level of
thinking skill and creativity of the students by providing them
knowledge of IT related learning theories.
Specifically this is focused on introducing, reinforcing,
supplementing and extending the knowledge and skills to
learners so that they can become exemplary users of educational
technology.
Provides a learning environment.
ET 2 is a preparation to bring us future teachers to more ahead
with their uses of technology in the classroom.
10. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational technology 2 is concerned with “Integrating
Technology into Teaching and Learning.”
Specifically this is focused on introducing, reinforcing,
supplementing and extending the knowledge and skills to
learners so that they can become exemplary users of educational
technology.
Edtc 2 helps the students-teachers to adapt and meet rapid and
continuing technological changes particularly in the thriving
global information and communication technology (ICT)
environment.
To impart learning experiences in instructional technology-
supported instructional planning
11. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Technology is not only used for recreation and playing, but
technology is one important tool that would further enhance the
way of teaching and the acquiring of learning for a teacher and a
student.
The major role of the computer is information deliverer and
learning environment controller.
The disadvantage of having a technology in a classroom is that
some other school can’t afford of having a good quality of
educational technology and some school have those technology
but those are not enough to fill the student’s eager to learn,
that’s why they have ratios in different unit. 1:3 one computer in
three students depending on the quantity of the students.
12. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Educational Technology helps to learn the students to use and
evaluate computer-based educational resources.
Students are more active and independent learning.
A widely used of computer, it can help to use relevant internet
resources for teaching- and-learning.
The use of technology provides the opening of opportunities to
respond to issues/problems in school and in teaching-learning
process.
Technology occupies a position in the instructional process
13. Educational Technology in a Nutshell
To provide confidence to educators that they are taking the
right steps in adopting technology in education.
Students should be confident, creative and productive users of
new technologies on society.
Continuing teacher training in the use of technology for
instruction.
Substantial number of computers in schools, ensuring
adequate access
Government aims to raise the quality of school education by
promoting the use of IT in teaching and learning.
14. Learning From Educational
Technology
Educational Technology brings the world into a new place, the
development of the technologies are more advantage to us
future educator, it serves as a vehicle to deliver our instruction.
I learn in EDTC 2 is that, this educational technologies is not
only what we are commonly known in a particular classroom
settings, even outside the classroom we can use educational
technology in different aspects like, commerce, business, and
the learner and the teacher can also communicate regarding
about their lesson within the computer through the use of
Internet.
15. Learning From Educational
Technology
It is able to support a more active learning experience through a high
degree of learner involvement, thus promoting a deeper
understanding.
It provides communicative and collaborative learning between the
students and the teachers.
It gives students different activities that will engage them to a real
situation or happenings that will help them to think for the solution on
their own.
In EDTC 1, the topics that we’ve been discussed were all about
introduction to computer.
Educational technology helps to improve the learning of the students.
They find interest and excitement in different educational technology
that serves as their motivation to learn more about their lesson.
16. Learning From Educational
Technology
Educational technology helps students to learn more about computers
and they will be able to manipulate computers and learn more about
the uses of it especially in their learning.
For the teachers, it helps them to deliver their lesson easily and more
effectively.
I learn that educational technology is not all about technologies itself,
educational technologies are any tools that we are using in delivering
our instruction even the charts, flashcards are also the examples of
educational technology.
Educational technology are the tool used in teaching and the teacher
was the facilitator of the learning, edtc are the tool to make the
teaching strategies more effective.
17. Learning From Educational
Technology
I learn that educational technology Arouse and sustain the
interest and attention of the pupils/students to learn.
When we’re using any educational tool in teaching, we face our
students in a real world or situation.
I learn that edtc helps to improve collaborative learning in a
classroom settings.
I learn that the computer cannot totally replace the teacher
since the teacher shall continue to play the major roles of
information deliverer and learning environment controller.
