Educational technology refers to the use of technology to improve education. It involves using tools like computers, media, and networks to facilitate learning and make the educational system more effective and efficient. Educational technology aims to improve instruction and performance through systematic and interactive processes. It applies technology to educational institutions and processes to enhance instruction and skills through tools and opportunities to address instructional issues.

5. Many people think that technology refers only to
machines such as computers, TV, videos, and the
like. All these form part of technology but
Educational Technology is all these and more!
Technology is not just machines.
Educational Technology refers to how people
use their inventions and discoveries to satisfy
their educational needs and desires ,i.e. learning.

profession.
Through EdTech 1 we can appreciate, used and
equipped our learning in technologies to become
aspiring individual especially as a teacher.

being taught in school. One of that reason
is to guide students to have a better
learning with regards to technologies.
Because of EdTech the students are
aware on what is the use and how to use
the appropriate instructional media in
relation to education/teaching.

understanding of the computer a well as hands-
on application of computer skills.
In EDTech 2 we can integrate our learning in
Edtech 1 to have a strong foundation in learning
technologies. Nowadays, almost all the teachers
used computers/technologies in their daily lives
especially in engaging students to the real world
situation. And through this we can easily
communicate to one another.

21. Today, the students are called the 21st century or
the Generation Y learners. When we say 21st
century learners the students are living in a
modern world who are using and encountered
technology in their everyday life. They are
individuals that can use technologies in good
way to have a better learning. And they are
individuals in which they belong to the world of
TECHNOLGY.

22. Technology contributes much to improvement of
the teaching-learning process and to the
humanization of life. Technology is made for
man and not man for technology, Technology is
made for the teacher and not the teacher for
technology. This means that technology is mean
to serve man in all aspects of life including
instruction. It is a man and in the context of the
classroom, the teacher, who determines how
technology ought to be used in order to reap the
maximum benefits that along with technology.
