Hi! My name is Kathyrien Catubig
Marquez, but you can call me Kath. I was born
in Pob. II, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo (Bailen),
Cavite on 22nd January 1997 and I am 18 years
old now. My hobby is reading interesting
stories and I hate insects and animals that
crawl.
I spend my elementary years at Bailen
Elementary School (BES) and my high school
years at General Emilio Aguinaldo National High
School-Bailen (GEANHS). Now, I am a third year
college at Cavite State University-Main studying
Bachelor of Secondary Education major in
English.
Educational Technology is the effective use
of technological tools in learning. It concerns an
array of tools, such as media, machines,
software and hardware, as well as the
theoretical perspective for it’s effective
application. It is used by learners and educators
in homes, schools (both K-12 and higher
Education), businesses and other settings.
To use information technology is to improve the
learning process. Information Technology is primary used
to automate the information delivery function in
classrooms. In the absence of fundamental changes to
the teaching and learning process, such classrooms may
do little but speed up ineffective processes and methods
of teaching. Schools should invest in order to ultimately
transform the educational environment and processes.
There are different states imposing ICT policies
and strategies in schools namely:
New Zealand;
Malaysia;
Australia;
Singapore; and
Hong Kong.
Educational Technology is penetrated in those
countries to improve the teaching and learning
process.
Those countries can serve as inspiration
to our country to impose also those kind of
technology that are useful in the teaching and
learning process.
Technology is very important in the 21st
learners. Schools should embody technology to
cater the needs of those learners.
Some schools have already begun building
classroom facilities that incorporate information
technology in hopes of improving the learning and
teaching process.
The blackboard and chalk remain the teaching
technologies in some schools but they do their best just
for them to acquire those technologies. Information
technology is one area that schools can use in order for
them to compete and communicate with others.
There are four (4) conceptual models
namely meaningful learning, discovery learning,
generative learning and constructivism. With
these conceptual models, we will see how
effective teachers' best interact with their
students in innovative learning activities while
integrating technology to the teaching-learning
process.
First, meaningful learning that gives focus
to new experience that is related to what the
learners already knows. In the learning process,
the learner is encouraged to recognize relevant
personal experiences.
Second, discovery learning that is
differentiated from reception learning in which
ideas are presented directly to students in a well-
organized way, such as through a detailed set of
instruction to complete an experiment task.
Next is the generative learning. In generative
learning, we have active learners who attended to
learning events and generate meaning from this
experience and draw inference thereby creating a
personal model of explanation on the new
experience in the content of existing knowledge.
Lastly is the constructivism, the learners
build a personal understanding through
appropriate learning activities and a good
learning environment.
Technology integration is the use of learning
technologies to introduce, reinforce, supplement
and extent skills and knowledge so that they can
become exemplenary users of educational
technology. Also, the meaning of this is putting
together technology into teaching and learning so
that these will become one in learners education.
Technology integration requires proper
usage to avoid negative effects to the learners.
Computer is one of the gadgets that learners
used. It is fully equipped by different software such
as educational software, entertainment software
and many more.
Educational software such as Microsoft
office, different dictionaries and others can help
the learners to easily engage to the new trends of
learning. There are also software that are used for
entertainment and can also be used for
educational purpose such as instructional games
that add the elements of competition and
challenge.
Educational technology helps the learners
not only to be in-line to the modern world but
also to develop their skills using innovation and
technology.
Always remember that computers
cannot replace teachers.
Learning seems to be feckless/ ineffective
if the learners cannot apply it to their everyday
life.
The principal goal of education is to create
men and women who are capable of doing new
things, not simply repeating what other
generations have done.
Educational technology provide education
the use of technology in instruction. It can
inculcate higher level thinking and creativity
among students. Through the use of educational
technology and information and communication
technology (ICT), the students/learners engage on
practical technology.
We should know the guidelines for us
to properly utilize educational technology.
Also, we should learn to use and evaluate
computer based educational resources.
In edtc 21, there are different topics that
were taught to us. Those topics gave us
information about what is educational technology,
what are the different models and many more.
Those information are helpful for us, the future
educators to properly used educational
technology in the classroom.
Edtc 22 involves deeper understanding of
the computer as well as hands-on application of
computer skills. To infuse technology in the
student learning training, helping learners to
adapt and meet rapid and continuing technology
changes in ICT environment.
It is the application of what you
learned in edtc 21 to the real world
situation. It can help us to be aware to the
new trends.
Technology is not only used for
recreation and playing, but technology is one
important tool that would further enhance
the way of teaching and the acquiring of
learning for a teacher and learners.
Educational technology can develop the
higher level thinking skills of the students
that is used in learning. It develops and
enhance creativity of the learners. It can
make the learners connected to the real
world and to adapt the new learning
environment.
It should be properly used to avoid
negative effects and negative learning to the
learners. Proper use of educational
technology can create an effective
environment to the teaching and learning
process.
Use educational technology in the
proper way to enhance our learning. We are
the one who will benefit from it.

  • 3. Hi! My name is Kathyrien Catubig Marquez, but you can call me Kath. I was born in Pob. II, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo (Bailen), Cavite on 22nd January 1997 and I am 18 years old now. My hobby is reading interesting stories and I hate insects and animals that crawl.
  • 4. I spend my elementary years at Bailen Elementary School (BES) and my high school years at General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School-Bailen (GEANHS). Now, I am a third year college at Cavite State University-Main studying Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English.

  • 6. Educational Technology is the effective use of technological tools in learning. It concerns an array of tools, such as media, machines, software and hardware, as well as the theoretical perspective for it’s effective application. It is used by learners and educators in homes, schools (both K-12 and higher Education), businesses and other settings.
  • 7. To use information technology is to improve the learning process. Information Technology is primary used to automate the information delivery function in classrooms. In the absence of fundamental changes to the teaching and learning process, such classrooms may do little but speed up ineffective processes and methods of teaching. Schools should invest in order to ultimately transform the educational environment and processes.
  • 8. There are different states imposing ICT policies and strategies in schools namely: New Zealand; Malaysia; Australia; Singapore; and Hong Kong. Educational Technology is penetrated in those countries to improve the teaching and learning process.
  • 9. Those countries can serve as inspiration to our country to impose also those kind of technology that are useful in the teaching and learning process. Technology is very important in the 21st learners. Schools should embody technology to cater the needs of those learners.
  • 10. Some schools have already begun building classroom facilities that incorporate information technology in hopes of improving the learning and teaching process. The blackboard and chalk remain the teaching technologies in some schools but they do their best just for them to acquire those technologies. Information technology is one area that schools can use in order for them to compete and communicate with others.
  • 11. There are four (4) conceptual models namely meaningful learning, discovery learning, generative learning and constructivism. With these conceptual models, we will see how effective teachers' best interact with their students in innovative learning activities while integrating technology to the teaching-learning process.
  • 12. First, meaningful learning that gives focus to new experience that is related to what the learners already knows. In the learning process, the learner is encouraged to recognize relevant personal experiences.
  • 13. Second, discovery learning that is differentiated from reception learning in which ideas are presented directly to students in a well- organized way, such as through a detailed set of instruction to complete an experiment task.
  • 14. Next is the generative learning. In generative learning, we have active learners who attended to learning events and generate meaning from this experience and draw inference thereby creating a personal model of explanation on the new experience in the content of existing knowledge.
  • 15. Lastly is the constructivism, the learners build a personal understanding through appropriate learning activities and a good learning environment.

Technology integration is the use of learning technologies to introduce, reinforce, supplement and extent skills and knowledge so that they can become exemplenary users of educational technology. Also, the meaning of this is putting together technology into teaching and learning so that these will become one in learners education.
  • 17. Technology integration requires proper usage to avoid negative effects to the learners. Computer is one of the gadgets that learners used. It is fully equipped by different software such as educational software, entertainment software and many more.
  • 18. Educational software such as Microsoft office, different dictionaries and others can help the learners to easily engage to the new trends of learning. There are also software that are used for entertainment and can also be used for educational purpose such as instructional games that add the elements of competition and challenge.
  • 19. Educational technology helps the learners not only to be in-line to the modern world but also to develop their skills using innovation and technology. Always remember that computers cannot replace teachers.
  • 20. Learning seems to be feckless/ ineffective if the learners cannot apply it to their everyday life. The principal goal of education is to create men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done.

  • 22. Educational technology provide education the use of technology in instruction. It can inculcate higher level thinking and creativity among students. Through the use of educational technology and information and communication technology (ICT), the students/learners engage on practical technology.
  • 23. We should know the guidelines for us to properly utilize educational technology. Also, we should learn to use and evaluate computer based educational resources.
  • 24. In edtc 21, there are different topics that were taught to us. Those topics gave us information about what is educational technology, what are the different models and many more. Those information are helpful for us, the future educators to properly used educational technology in the classroom.
  • 25. Edtc 22 involves deeper understanding of the computer as well as hands-on application of computer skills. To infuse technology in the student learning training, helping learners to adapt and meet rapid and continuing technology changes in ICT environment.
  • 26. It is the application of what you learned in edtc 21 to the real world situation. It can help us to be aware to the new trends.

  • 28. Technology is not only used for recreation and playing, but technology is one important tool that would further enhance the way of teaching and the acquiring of learning for a teacher and learners.
  • 29. Educational technology can develop the higher level thinking skills of the students that is used in learning. It develops and enhance creativity of the learners. It can make the learners connected to the real world and to adapt the new learning environment.
  • 30. It should be properly used to avoid negative effects and negative learning to the learners. Proper use of educational technology can create an effective environment to the teaching and learning process. Use educational technology in the proper way to enhance our learning. We are the one who will benefit from it.
