1. To edit our music video we used Adobe Premier Pro Plus. This software is
easy to use. We have use and applied many different techniques
throughout the process such as split screen, colour effects, use of titles and
manipulation with the speed of the shots.

2. At the start of our music video we wanted our video clips to be faster in
order to be able to use them all before our narrative started. The average
speed for all clips are at 100. To make it faster you increase the number
and decrease it to slow it down. This allowed us to be able to show a lot of
each clip, without it being dragged out and boring to watch.

3. To create a black and white effect throughout our video we have to
adjust the saturation. To do this, you go on video effects and adjust. You
apply the ProcAmp to the video you want to change. This then gives you
the option to change the contrast, saturation, levels, lighting effects and
shadows. To make it black and white you bring the saturation down to the
level you want.

4. To create a split filter, we used key frames and duplicated the layers to
change the size and the layout of the videos. This effect allows the
audience to see the main character in action, four different ways. It
follows the conventions of a pop video. This effect engages the audience
as it is something alternative to see in a video, therefore it doesn’t get
boring to watch throughout.

5. We added different colours to our video whilst it was on a split screen as it
matches the conventions of the pop genre. To do this, we added different
titles to each video layer. We created colour squares and decreased the
opacity so you could see the colour as well as the image underneath it.
For all four images, we created four different titles slides with all different
colours. This is pleasing for the audience as the bright colours contrast with
each other, grabbing the attention of the audience.
