I created this script so that my actor's and actress' can follow it when I record my footage for my thriller opening scene.

A pregnancy test it taken.
An adoption form is filled out.
It is a normal day in Kirkby In Ashfield. A
female has adopted a young girl and today is
her move in day.
*A phone conversation between mother and a
friend*
*Friend is not present in the scene*
Demi: Hiya. Are you alright? Yeah. Are you?
Yeah. Good. She’s here. She’s in.
*The adopted girl is shown in another room.*
Demi: She’s settled in alright. She was a bit
funny to start off with, she was a bit unsure
of everything but she was alright after. She
was in her room last time I checked. She went
up and put all her stuff in her room, got her
bearings and all that.
*Phone call ends*
*Knocks on door and goes in. Looks around*
Demi: Yasmin?
*Walks over to the window*

3. Demi: (raise voice) Shit!
*Dials 999*
Molly: Police emergency how can I help?
Demi: Hello. I’m ringing up to report a missing
girl.
Molly: Can you describe her for me?
Demi: She’s young, got brown hair. (Upset) I’ve
just adopted her!
Molly: We’ll send someone round.
Demi: (Upset) Ok. Thank you.
*Puts phone down*
*Goes down stairs*
*Opens front door*
Becca: Police.
*Holds up police ID*
Owen: We’ve had a report of a missing girl.
Blackout.
