3. I can’t make art. I’m not creative. I can’t draw. The last painting I did was a finger painting. What, I have to draw? I just draw stick people. This sucks. I don’t get it. Am I done yet. What do I have to add to get an A. Why do I have to draw it and then re-draw. I don’t plan, or pre-sketch designs. I am better if I just start on it & slap it together as I go. What is art ? & How suppose to make it? am I

6. Do you notice any similarities between the written word and visual arts? In order to make coherent sentences, you need to know your alphabet, punctuation, grammar, etc.. In order to create art you need to understand visual vocabulary and how to put it to use.

7. Stop being so hard on yourself! Quit saying “I can’t” or “ It’s too hard”! Negativity is the enemy! & It just seemed hard because you haven’t been taught the tools or how to use them! YOU CAN DO IT!
