This document provides standards for language arts, visual arts, and world history from Illinois Learning Standards, Common Core State Standards, and National Standards for Arts Education. The language arts standards focus on preparing for discussions, conducting research from multiple sources to answer questions while avoiding plagiarism, and responding to diverse perspectives. The visual arts standards cover applying techniques and processes, understanding structures and functions, relating art to history and culture, and assessing one's own and others' work. The world history standard addresses understanding the global search for peace and stability in the 1920s-1930s.
