This document outlines an art unit on creating cooling fans. The unit focuses on applying elements and principles of art, using observation and composition to develop ideas, and analyzing artists' works. Students will learn about traditional fans and cultural patterns, design their own works using an artist's method, and create a finished cooling fan using natural materials and a variety of media.
