2. Process- Front cover
I started of using photoshop to edit
out the background to use it for my
front cover as I think that the way she
is posing and looking at the camera is
quite good
I added a red outer shadow
As my background colour would be
Red and I think that it would look nicer
if it matched
3. Process – Front cover
I changed the background
To dark pink as it matches my
sisters pants.
I used “BlackFash” as a title and overlayed the
Image on top of it to make it more ”Magazine
like” and put together.
4. I then started to add subtitles to
make it more intertaining and made
sure that it is interesting to attract a
larger audience.
I also changed the font styles and
the font sizes to not make it look
too dull and basic but a bit more
creative and original
For every edit that I do I use different
layers so that I can easily delete
It if I don’t want it anymore without it
effecting my final piece
5. Towards the end I though about changing
the background because I felt like it was too dark but
because the background didn’t match the image I felt
like it wasn’t the right colour so I ended up using the
red background.
I ended my front cover with adding the bar code
At the bottom of the front cover to make it more
realistic
6. Process- Double page
I made use of Indesign
To produce my double page
I started of by dividing
my page in 2 using an image
of a sunset in the dessert,
this gives more of an African
Vibe, layout which is what I
am looking for when doing a
African fashion magazine
I used the quote “It’s not Just a trend…
African fashion is here to stay!”
I used this quote to attract the audience into African Fashion and to
let them know that my main aim is to persuade them into trying out
African outfits
7. i didn’t want to take all the pictures myself so
I got some from the internet to make people
Understand what im talking about a bit more
I don’t have that many
African outfits myself
so I found some on google to
Give the audience an idea of
What I am talking about if
They have never seen African
Dresses and outfits before
8. Process- Double page
I then added subtitles and
changed
It into a bright colour to
once again
attract the audience and to
let them
know what I’m about to talk
about
I afterwards added the information and
the tips and tricks involving African
Fashion. I don’t think that I wrote 700
Words but I wrote quite a lot and gave
out quite a lot of information
This is how my final design
ended up
