2. Process
On the cover of my magazine, I have used
Adele. In the background, I have used the
smudge tool and smudged the colourful area
and left the black areas. I have used the font
‘Zapfino’ on the title to make it look elegant
like Adele. I have put the title behind Adele’s
head so make it look more like a magazine. For
the text, I used the font ‘Tekton Pro’ to make it
look simple but still stand out as I have put it
on the black area of the image. At the bottom
left, I have put a barcode and price which is
reasonable for my social status’ to buy. This
front cover will appeal to my target audience
as it is bold and it stands out. It’s elegant and
everyone of the social groups I have picked
can read it.

3. Process
With the title, I have used the
polygonal loop tool to go around her
head and create a new layer. This is so
I can put the title behind her head so
then it looks more like a magazine.
After, I put the title of the same layer
of the original image and then added
the other layer of her head on top so
then it looks like the title is behind her
head. I think the mast head behind he
head will appeal to my target
audience because they may like Adele
as a singer so they’ll want a whole
image of her looking amazing and
then they’ll buy it.

4. Process
On my double page spread, I have used another
image of Adele. On this image, there was a
white background which I had to take off with
the magic wand tool. When I did take it off, it
took some of her face with it. So I had to draw
her face back on. So, I used the line tool and
drew along the line. This is when her cheek
looked slightly flat so I added some cheek fat on
her. Also, I had to add some more hair on her
head at the top and on the side as there were
gaps or white sections from when I took the
background of it. I used the brush tool to do
this.

5. Process
On the double page spread, I have
written a story about her that I have
got from the internet but made it my
own. The story is all about how she
became famous. I researched her life
from the beginning and how she
started out. It was very interesting to
know about her life. I mean, I have
seen her in concert and she does talk
about her life but not in so much
detail. But when, looking into her life,
it was different.

6. Process
I have now added a title but had to
take the word ‘amazing’ out because
it wouldn’t fit properly on the page. I
have made the top of the title bigger
than the word ‘adored’. On the other
side of the page, I have added the
quote I have used from the article and
put it in white to match with the sub
heading. On Adele’s clothing I have
finished the title with ‘Adele!’. I have
added a stroke to it so then it stands
out but so you can still see it on her
clothing as it is black.
