2. Photography arrangements
My preparation for my double page spread photos was to get my friend Laura to wear her
stranger things sweatshirt, so I could take some photos of her wearing it to put on my double
page spread, the photos turned out okay as they were good quality and I got her to stand at a
white background which made the photo more clear. To improve I could of edited the photos
and perhaps put a filter or edited and cut around them in Photoshop,

is increase the sharpness of the
photo and it has made it look a
lot brighter and it makes the
sweatshirt stand out more.

3. Article writing
For my article I feel like this went well I got a lot of my inspiration from fashion blogs online
about Topshop and stranger things as this was my theme for my double page spread. I feel like
I could of wrote a lot more for my article and planned it out a lot better but I was happy with
what I wrote altogether. I feel like I also could of added an interview in with someone who has
watched the series to make the article more interesting. I also could of took more pictures
myself instead of getting most of the from the internet. I also feel like the layout of my article
could have been presented a lot better in column's and more eye catching as I could of used a
font that stood out or more bold writing.
I used a normal font in a white colour so
it would stand out over the picture but I
could of used some different colour
variations to make the text stand out a
lot more. I could of put it in column's as
well as it would have been easier to
read and I could of fit more text on one
side of the page.

4. Creative side of my double page spread
One of the things that made my
double page spread very creative was
the fonts I chose to match my theme
and what it was about, I chose a font
on font space online which had the
same style writing as the original
stranger things logo which suited the
style very well.
Another thing that I did well and was
proud of was my idea of the first page of
my double page spread as I had the idea
of doing “eleven top picks” which relates
to stranger things as I mentioned one of
the main characters eleven, and I mixed
it up and added the top 11 products that
sold the best when the collection
launched, I thought this suited the
theme of my page really well and I was
proud of how it turned out, one thing I
could of done better was add more
perhaps background images and I could
of edited the photos and cropped them
more so they would fit better on the
page but overall this side of the page
was my favorited.

5. The images I used
were good, but I
could of used a lot
more of my own
images rather than
sourcing them from
the internet .
I loved the font I
used as I got it
from a font
website it is a copy
of the real stranger
things font which I
thought that it
fitted the theme
really good and it
is a font that
stands out and it is
very eye catching.
I numbered the pages
to make it look like a
real magazine, I like
the idea of this as I
think it also looks eye-
catching to the
readers and it also
looks professional .
I like the background
image on the second
page as firstly I think it
matches the theme of
my double page spread
nicely, I also like how
she's wearing the
stranger things top and I
chose that image
because the font on the
t-shirt she is wearing
stands out over the
black. This makes it look
more eye-catching.

6. What skills has been developed?
• the skills I have developed are I learned how to use in design and how to create a
double page spread, I developed more creative skills when designing my double
page spread, by using new fonts, creating different designs for each page. The
areas I could improve on are Photoshop, I would like to gain more skills when
using photo shop therefore I could edit and chop my pictures to make them look
better and more eye catching, I also could of developed more physically using a
camera rather than my iPhone to take pictures with, by using the camera the
pictures could have been better quality and I could of experimented in different
areas of taking photos, by using a camera I could of went out and took a lot more
of my own photos that I could of used in my double page spread.

7. Peer feedback
• I asked Laila in my class for some feedback on my double page spread and
she said I could of added more background color and more of my own
images, she also mentioned about using Photoshop to make my images
better to perhaps edit them more to make them look a lot more eye-
catching , I took her feedback in consideration and had a look back over my
work and rather than have images I sourced from the internet I could of
used more of my own pictures, I could of experimented more with the
color of my double page spread as I could of added a red background to go
with the theme of stranger things. I also could of developed my skills by
using Photoshop to edit my photos this would of helped improve the
perhaps blurriness and brightness of the photo making it look perhaps
more professional rather than just a plain photo not being edited.

8. In response to my feedback I went onto Photoshop and edited
one of the photos that I could of used on my double page
spread these are just three that I changed perhaps the color or
the contrast of the image and all three of these re edited photos
all look more eye catching this is what I would of added to my
double page spread if I do one in the future. By the feedback I
got I can now see where I can improve when it comes to the
images I use and how I edit them.
