scheme that is very related to the
actual game with the blue and
green representing homes and

A logo with a theme running
throughout, with this green
diamond 3d logo that is very clear
on the eye to people that play the
Sims before.
Old people included which shows
anyone can play it
A lot of different race and
age people which shows
that anyone can really play
and enjoy it.
A lot of different colours however not
too bright as don’t want to take the
attention away from the main focal
point.
A lot of different advertising and
brands that are well known have been
showcased on the front cover which
will attract people that will know
these brands.
Can personalize your own sim to
make them your own and I think
this is a good idea as it makes the
player more involved in each
games.
A lot going on in the corners
that people will see for
example the big MAC word
will draw the attention of
viewers especially people
that known these brands.

In this game there are a lot of different
barriers which you have to avoid getting
hit by, I think that this works well as it is
able to be played by anyone of any each
or race.
The colours are very bland however
work well as it looks as if it is the sky
and I think that this works as it is set
in a scene with a bird.

this is for the viewer as the bright
pink stands out and is well known to
being suited more towards girls.

is very warm/girl orientated
colours and mix in well with
the whole sweet theme and
makes the viewer feel more
warm and happy.
In this there are a lot of
bear and different kinds
of sweets and I think that
this attracts the audience
as it can be played by
many different age ranges
and people from different
backgrounds as there are
no limits.
For this game the logo doesn’t really have anything
that links from the actual game itself however I
think that the logo really works well as the name
fits well and is catchy for the viewer I also think
that it will attract the right type of audience that
they are looking for, which would be more girls and
girly people.

in with the actual
game as I think
that the whole
theme of this
game is very make
believe and all
about fairy tales
therefore I think
that these
characters work
well here.
The pinks and bubbly
themes that are in this
game work well with
theme of this game.
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched
products have?
• In my research there are a few common features for example in all of them there was a clear
theme of the game in the actual logo therefore I think that this works well, I also see a lot of
clear colour themes and I think that this works well as it draws in a good attention from the
specific target audience as it will attract them more if they see a clear colour scheme that
they can relate to.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
– In my own work I will include some of these good aspects for example in my own work I
will make sure that the visuals really match the actual game for example because I plan
to do a more fashionable game I will most likely use more things that are aimed at girls
and more of a pink/warm colour pallete, I will also use more characters that I think my
target audience are more likely to play with and actually want to.

  • 2. Existing Product A big bold title that attracts the audience in especially if this game is well known. A clear blue and green colour scheme that is very related to the actual game with the blue and green representing homes and living. A logo with a theme running throughout, with this green diamond 3d logo that is very clear on the eye to people that play the Sims before. Old people included which shows anyone can play it A lot of different race and age people which shows that anyone can really play and enjoy it. A lot of different colours however not too bright as don’t want to take the attention away from the main focal point. A lot of different advertising and brands that are well known have been showcased on the front cover which will attract people that will know these brands. Can personalize your own sim to make them your own and I think this is a good idea as it makes the player more involved in each games. A lot going on in the corners that people will see for example the big MAC word will draw the attention of viewers especially people that known these brands.

Existing Product In this game there are a lot of different barriers which you have to avoid getting hit by, I think that this works well as it is able to be played by anyone of any each or race. The colours are very bland however work well as it looks as if it is the sky and I think that this works as it is set in a scene with a bird. The colours are very gender neutral as they don’t really target either males or females The actual bird that is used in this game is in the logo and is a very simple design therefore it is very easily used and well known I think that this works well as it means people can spot it easily. The actual logo is very minimalistic therefore it is very easy to say and easy to spot and I think that this works quite well as the name goes with the actual game as well is very catchy and remember able Different levels are unlocked when you pass certain things therefore this attracts all audiences
  • 4. Existing Product The bright pink colours and pink backgrounds contribute to the very girly parts of this game. I think that this is for the viewer as the bright pink stands out and is well known to being suited more towards girls. All the interior is aimed more so towards a younger audience and more females as everything is very pink and bright coloured. the layout of this game is very simple and easy as I think it is aimed at a younger audience In this game you get to change your character to make it your own, therefore I think that it is a very personalized game and this will attract more people They have made the characters very realistic which makes the player feel as if they are actually in the game. There are a lot of different props which draw the attention of the viewer as it means they get more options on what to do You can change your own character to make it whatever you want so therefore for the player this means it can be more personalized.
  • 5. Existing Product the background of this game is very warm/girl orientated colours and mix in well with the whole sweet theme and makes the viewer feel more warm and happy. In this there are a lot of bear and different kinds of sweets and I think that this attracts the audience as it can be played by many different age ranges and people from different backgrounds as there are no limits. For this game the logo doesn’t really have anything that links from the actual game itself however I think that the logo really works well as the name fits well and is catchy for the viewer I also think that it will attract the right type of audience that they are looking for, which would be more girls and girly people. The characters in this game are very animated and link in with the actual game as I think that the whole theme of this game is very make believe and all about fairy tales therefore I think that these characters work well here. The pinks and bubbly themes that are in this game work well with theme of this game.

Research Analysis • What common features do the researched products have? • In my research there are a few common features for example in all of them there was a clear theme of the game in the actual logo therefore I think that this works well, I also see a lot of clear colour themes and I think that this works well as it draws in a good attention from the specific target audience as it will attract them more if they see a clear colour scheme that they can relate to. • What aspects of the research will you include within your on work? – In my own work I will include some of these good aspects for example in my own work I will make sure that the visuals really match the actual game for example because I plan to do a more fashionable game I will most likely use more things that are aimed at girls and more of a pink/warm colour pallete, I will also use more characters that I think my target audience are more likely to play with and actually want to.
