The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
2. Existing Product - FuzeboyThe location of this game is very closed in even though it’s not a
open world and focuses on levels and platforms like most 2d
pixelated games.
Lighting however is not a major factor when it comes to the
majority of 2D pixel games. As seen wit this example here lighting
and shadowing makes the product comes to life too much. So
adding a shadow effect could ruin how the character looks. These
games are meant to have a fantasised look about them and does
not focus on realism and adding in details such as that. However
when it comes to lighting this games focuses on bright colours so it
obviously wouldn’t be categorised with anything too dark such as
horror. Even when there in a dark room such as the picture on the
bottom left. It is often lit up so that it looks pretty aesthetically and
not just creepy.
Everything that has been composed in that scene has been put
there with aim and a objective. With there being barriers and
bombs placed in various places but making them hidden so they are
natural to the surroundings of where they are.
This product is focused on a young teenage audience. Between the
age range of 8-14. This is because this is the type of game they
would be allowed to play as its not deemed to violent or too scary
for the young viewer. They would want to play this type of game
because it’s a simple platform game that they can get on the phone
and entertain the average viewer. You can also say all the way down
to the costume that the character is wearing is child friendly. With
the hat that’s got the R on it makes you want to like the character
and he's not been given anything to make him look scary or
intimidating in anyway.
3. Existing Product – Chasm:Unlike the previous game this focuses on lighting but still
not much. They have tried reflecting the cave show that it
looks like the cave has been expanded. I also like the
various levels that have been made in the game. Along
with the overall genre of the film I like the adventurous
cave look that had been given to the overall product. With
this look it makes you think of the infinite possibilities
that the cave can be expanded and creates excitement for
the many obstacles that the game has to offer. The music
as well has the adventurous tone that been put in it.
Makes the game more fast paced and exciting but it also
matches the tone of a pixelated game.
The audience would also be aimed at the same target
audience as the previous game with it including the same
aesthetic qualities as the previous games.
I feel like the colours are a lot more dark then the
previous game. This makes the surroundings a lot more
different and fit well with there surroundings. I also think
that their is a lot more go in with the mise en scene.
There's also a lot more in surroundings and there are
different platforms in which your character can jump on.
4. Existing Product – Kaze and the wild
masks
This game is a lot more colorful in comparison to the
others. Each different level has different locational
surroundings. There is a lot more variety in this game
with there being a lot more different characters and
maps that are playable. The music is a lot more
happier and is a lot less fast paced than the previous
game. With the main focus being on happiness with
it having a happy vibe due to the light color and the
music.
I also think that the noises that are being made by
the animals when ever they do the action of jumping
or diving is a good aspect. It also puts in the
empathize on how hard the character is trying and
makes it more realistic as opposed the character just
not getting tired. Also a lot can be done with the
characters in this game. You're not playing some
human. Instead your playing some animal which
adds a lot more tot the character that you are paying
and makes the story behind the game a lot more
interesting.
5. Existing Product – Tales of LenaThis is a similar free runner game where the character is
running to the objective that he has been given. This
map and color scheme are similar to the ones that I
reached previously. This lighthearted and is a very
simple design as it relies on nature as its main setting.
The audience appeal is yet again aimed at kids between
the ages of 8-14 because that’s the perfect age with it
being a light and not violent to the viewer, you could
also say that theses type of games help kids focus on
strategy. With there being many platforms and
obstacles that you have to avoid. If you fail, then you
have to remember where you have failed, and that this
platform made me lose a life despite it looking very
basic the focus of details by the animator is amazing.
They have made the bushes as seen in the first image
move as if the wind is blowing them which is nice added
detail. The whole theme of the game appear to be
every bouncy with the character not staying still even
when you're not moving her.
Whilst the design is very simple the objectives also are.
Collecting an apple give a hundred points, which can be
shown through the points meter at the top and the
numbers that pop up whenever you collect an apple.
6. Existing product (Extra) film – Indiana
Jones and the raiders of the lost ark
The film overall has a very adventurous setting to it
with it featuring the right costume and the right
type of raggedness that is need for the character of
my game. The film is set to have cave look overall
and the character is faced with many natural
disasters such as big boulder chasing him down
when he steps into a trap. This film also shows off
how it has a lot of the action that’s needed and
matches in with same genre of what is is that I
want.
I also think that this film possesses the objectives
and aims that I want in my game. With there being
being points in film where the character has to
collect parts in order to achieve his overall goal of
succeeding. Traps are a big aspect in this film as
well with there being a lot of slips up that’s the
main character makes and falls into but just about
survives. The natural surroundings are the best
thing in the film as they tell the story perfectly of
the main character being an archeologist and
having missions.
7. Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products have?
• The most common feature that I have found when it came to researching my product
was that lot of these games featured a lot of obstacles that you had to avoid in the
game. Also that there is some sort of antagonist that you have to avoid whilst playing
the game.
• The majority of these games have no requirement when it comes to blood and gore.
They are aimed at a younger audience, clearly shown from the way the visuals are
very bright and the music/sound effects is played in a non threatening way.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
• The main aspect that I want to include from looking at my research is to have this
game come across as child friendly. With the brightly look colours and the simple
platforms that are needed to be crossed. I don’t want this game to be difficult and
over complicated for the younger viewer. I also want a lot of natural things being
presented in the game. Having a lot of creatures and green tress to for it to have that
green jungle aesthetic location.
• Another aspect I want to have is to have main antagonist that is chasing me to big and
threatening. In a similar way to chasm but perhaps not as big.
