This document provides information about an online course titled "Adult Education & Digital Technologies" taking place in Spring 2015. It is taught by Carolyn Guertin through the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. The course will run from May 4th to June 18th, meeting on Thursdays from 6-9pm asynchronously on Tuesdays. Students are asked to complete assignments including weekly blog posts, in-class group work, an assessment of a digital tool, and a web-based portfolio project. Readings include the book "Design for How People Learn" and an open access journal. Students are also introduced to concepts of critical media literacy and asked to discuss modes of self-representation in assigned breakout rooms. Contact
