The 2014-2015 academic year marks the beginning of my twenty-fifth year in education and thirteenth year as a practitioner in higher education. As a former K-12 educator and now teacher educator I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of different educational settings. The wealth of knowledge gained from my twelve years of public school experience as a Science, Physical Education, Gifted Education Teacher and Athletic Trainer in addition to experiences gained as a higher education professional have shaped my philosophy of practice.
