The document outlines classroom activities for junior students over four days focusing on environmental protection and English grammar. On Monday and Tuesday, students read about caring for the earth and created raps or songs on the topic. They then made symbol message posters and shared how the project made them feel. On Wednesday, the class revised verb tenses and wrote sample sentences using past simple, present continuous, and present simple forms. On Thursday, they continued tense work, completed a mock English test, and learned prepositions of place through a song.
1. JUNIOR 3
SEPTEMBER
Monday 17 / Tuesday 18:
Project: HOW SHOULD WE TAKE CARE OF EARTH?
OBJETIVE: THE STUDENTS WILL UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF NATURAL RESOURCES, HOW
WE CAN TAKE CARE OF THEM AND HOW DO WE HURT THEM.
Students read the text again. After reading the text, students chose topic they had not used
before and invented a Rap or a Song. Then, we had a show!
-Next, students created a Symbol Message about how we should take care of earth. We prepared
posters so that students in other forms may discover the messages.
Finally, students said a word of phrase that expressed the way they felt working like this and they
completed the Collaborative Work rubric.
Wednesday 19th
We worked on Integration of Tenses: First, we revised orally and on the Board.
After that, we went around the classroom and wrote on 3 different cardboards (for the entire
class) different real sentences about us using the Past Simple, Present Continuous and Present
Simple.
Thursday 20th
We worked on tenses.
2. We completed the Starters Mock Test (Reading and Writing Test).
We worked on Prepositions of Place and sang a song (Oxford Discover page 121)
