This 5-day lesson plan for grade 3 focuses on dinosaurs. Over the week, students will:
1) Learn and use new vocabulary words related to dinosaurs through pictures, examples, and completing sentences.
2) Listen to and complete the lyrics of a song about classroom rules and read a poem about dinosaurs.
3) Compare dinosaurs to actual objects using length comparisons and write descriptions of an imaginary dinosaur.
4) Listen to a timeline of dinosaur discoveries and match paragraphs to discoveries on a worksheet.
5) Take a vocabulary and spelling test to assess learning.
