Junior 3 students had a busy month of November focusing on various English skills. They took a starters mock test and corrected it together. They read about the three states of matter and compared and contrasted them. Later in the week, the class read a story about two stubborn little goats, worked on comprehension, sang the related song, and then wrote the story using a specific technique.

● We completed a Starters Mock Test, and corrected it together.
● We worked on Prepositions of Time.
Tuesday 26
● We read a text on the three states (solid, liquid, gas) and worked on it (Oxford Discover
pages 30-32) using the Thinking Skill Compare and Contrast.
● We worked on Prepositions of Time indiviadually and then corrected our friend’s work.
● We kept on working on vocabulary (oxford Discover page 36).

2. Wednesday 27
● After working on vocabulary and on the theme of a story, we read Two Stubborn Little Goats
and worked on comprehension (Oxford Discover pages 156-161). Then, we sang the song.
After that, we wrote the story using the Write Around Technique.
Thursday 28
● We kept on working on writing the story Two Stubborn Little Goats.
