● Comprehension Project. Wow! What a Change!
We had a fashion show with clothes people used long ago and clothes we used today. Afterwards, we
wrote about clothes in the past and now.
Tuesday 28
 We completed a Speech Bubble thinking about what we are doing and what we did.
 Phonics: Phonics bug. On the Farm. Sounds ar, or, ur, ow, oi and revision of previous sounds. We
spotted sounds in the story and wrote the words in the word bank. Then, we had a dictation and
retold the story together.

We thought about changes in nature using the thinking routine “I used to think .. Now I think…”
 Oxford Discover pages 73 and 81 – Past Simple Irregular verbs. We sang two songs and did some
oral work. Next, we made a list of irregular verbs:
