We completed the writing and comprehension rubrics.
-VOCABULARY: We worked on FAMILY MEMBERS. – BIG FAMILY TREE. We played a guessing
game and made posters writing sentences related to two family trees.
Wednesday 13
● PHONICS: We read and watched the story: “The cat sat on the mat”.

Sounds: /th/ the, /s/, /a/, /t/, /k/, /m/, /r/, /b/, /n/, /d/. We spotted the sounds in the story, sang
their songs and played games. Then, we wrote new words with these sounds. After that, we wrote
crazy sentences using the words.
● Summer Reading: VOCABULARY: We made Clothes Picture Dictionary Posters.
Thursday 14
● We completed a speech bubble saying what we remembered we learnt yesterday.
● PHONICS: We went go over the sounds and words of the story “The Cat Sat on the Mat” orally and
wrote them on our Word Bank.
After that, we had a dictation on those sounds.
● Finally, we completed an exit ticket saying what we learnt today.
